  1. When my team uses the updated Shared Review, they do not have access to all of the commenting tools as they did prior to the update.

    The REPLACE TEXT, INSERT TEXT etc. are vital to our review process. Not having these tools available prevents us from updating the InDesign layout using the new PDF COMMENTS feature.

    So, to sum it up, we were excited about updates that are not working because they were not fully deployed with the features we need.

    We have added this in our backlog, will let you know once we implement it in future.

  2. We have switched our email software to Outlook New. Since then, the Send function in Adobe no longer works. Previously, we could simply click on the envelope icon, select “Send by Email”, and a new email would open with the PDF attached.

    Currently, it is not possible to set Outlook New as the default email program. Adobe does not recognize it as an email application and shows the message that no email program is installed.

    This issue causes us significantly more manual work, as we now have to save documents separately and attach them manually to emails.

  4. Acrobat on Mac currently doesn't update through the CC app like all other Adobe apps do. I'm attaching a screenshot of a pop up message I've seen a couple of times over the years where I've gone to restart my Mac to be informed that without my knowledge, Acrobat was installing in the background and I couldn't restart. When pressed for a deadline this was especially unappreciated but further, I do like to have control of when and what gets updated.

  5. I am working on an icon dropdown menu using show/hide form fields and I would like to suggest adding printability to actions. I have some fields that are just intended to get the end user to their desired icon and should never be printed but once the buttons cycle through all the options, everything becomes printable instead of retaining the print property that was initially assigned.

  6. Since the newest update, the send feature now requires a few more mouse clicks. Before the newest update, it was a one click send feature which myself and my colleagues would agree was much more user friendly than this new feature. I would like to have that brought back.

  7. Since last update Acrobat no longer exports pdfs to pptx correctly, it loses transparency, skips the images undeneath transparent layers, etc. A mess.

  9. I am running Windows 10. Since the last Adobe Acrobat Pro update, the program has been absolutely awful. Opening a document is a minute long process much less doing anything else to it. I had to download another program to be able to view PDFs for work. Very frustrating. Been like this for at least a month.

  10. I cannot use the new mode. I cannot find the updater. I had to reinstall Adobe Reader. The new mode is intolerably difficult to use and needs a rocket scientist to find anything.

  12. Naturally, I use adobe acrobat reader mainly for reading pdfs. However, with the new update, I find the big bright colourful button in the top right corner very distracting. Acrobat reader is designed mainly for viewing pdfs, so it would make sense for it to have a streamline user interface that puts emphasis on the pdf being viewed. While that is the strategy adopted by most pdf viewers, it seems like acrobat reader took a turn for the worst and decided to sacrifice user interface in order to force AI features that nobody asked for into their users workflow. …

  13. Since the update I have only been successful with converting a PDF 1 time - I have not been able to convert to Word or Excel (which is what I need) since this last update. I am not getting an error either. I have checked the downloads - Adobe is just not converting.

  14. Can someone from Adobe post and say if this will be changed in the next update? It is completely UNBELIEVABLE that software is "updated" to make it more difficult to use and hinder our workflow IMMENSELY! I cannot imagine how a beginner user could use this. I'd like to know if this will change because I'm considering alternative PDF creation software and will cancel my subscription to Acrobat and I don't want waste time to learn to use a new application if this will be corrected soon.

  16. I wanted to use Font Awesome icons in Forms, but is not possible. I choose the Font Awesome in text field properties, but doesn't show when I want to copy an icon from the cheatsheet - the same technique works with every other Adobe program.   17. I want my old desktop downloaded 2011 version back with all of the functions intact. Paying an annual subscription for less functions and usability is garbage. We are a construction company that gets hundreds of project drawings in pdf format from owners and contractors. The new measure tool is one of my biggest complaints about the updated software. The measure tool basically has 1 function and it never works properly. If you do not have an original CAD or DWG file and the software to support it you cannot measure anything properly.   18. The new update is a major down grade because all PDFs open in the same display. I have the need to view two different PDF documents on different screens, but Adobe does not support this activity in the currently configured system.

  19. When taking a form and editing it or whatever you want and then you go to email it I shouldnt be forced to save the form before emailing it. Me personally I dont need a copy of the form, I just want to email it like you used to be able to do on the old version before the update.

  20. I am running Windows 10 and the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC was installed on my machine as an Update by Microsoft. I uninstalled it in error. Regardless, why would I have to buy Pro after the 7 day trial, when it was installed Free by Microsoft as part of Windows 10 update?
