    Hello,

    Thanks for reporting this issue.

But we are not able to reproduce this issue at our end.
Thus please let us know your Acrobat version and OS details.

Moreover, are you facing this issue for every file? If not, share the sample file.

    Thanks,
    Gaurav

  2. Why is it so difficult to select shapes and text boxes? It would be so useful to select multiple text boxes and shapes to copy and paste. It is ridiculous how difficult simple tasks like this is.

  3. The current Acrobat Pro DC Version has omitted 4 Image enhancing features (Deskew, Background Removal, Descreen, & Text Sharpening) & I feel that they should be implemented-edited into the latest Acrobat Version to make it complete. These are very important features.

Option is available in Acrobat DC as well. Serach for Optimize PDF and select “Optimize scanned Documents.”
    Its available under Filters option.
    Thanks.

  4. Adobe Acrobat 2020 when selecting "Send File..." displays a prompt "Send by email" with a prompt to select either the Default email client or Webmail. Every...time...

Adobe Reader 2020 when selecting "Send File..." displays a dialogue the initial time with an option to "Remember my choice" to select Default email application or Webmail. If the application and
"Remember..." option is selected this dialogue does not display again and future PDF emailing drops directly in to Outlook.

The paid Acrobat software needs to behave like the free Reader by not having an errant pointlessly repetitive prompt every single time to attach…

  8. For speed and efficiency, the ability to;

    i) save form field layouts from one document as templates that can be overlaid onto any other document (and still then save-able as a document template).

    and/or;

ii) the ability to replace the original document underneath form fields (i.e. upload an up to date PDF to replace existing) in 'Edit Template'.

    PURPOSE:
We use multiple agreements that are almost identical, but with minor copy edits / clause tweaks following client feedback etc. Very time consuming to have to create a template from scratch every time we want to make a minor edit to…

  9. In Acrobat Pro DC, I'd like a way to equalize the width of space characters. OCR results often give uneven spacing that needs cleaning up. I can reset the horizontal scaling and the character spacing using the "T" and "AV" options, but the width of space characters are not affected by that. The only workaround I've found for this is to copy the results to another application, and then back to Acrobat again, which seems inefficient.

  10. If a recipient of a requested signature rejects the document, then the canceled document is sent back to me on behalf of the sender. However, this leads to a positive result in our SPAM detection and the mail ends up in the SPAM folder. However, the actual sender of the mail is not the recipient but adobesign@adobesign.com.
Since there are more and more phishing mails on the way in these days, Adobe should not be detected as a false sender here as well.
Sending in the name of another person should be avoided.

  11. Currently the only way to SPECIFY a cropped page size in Acrobat is to use the clunky preflight tool. Why not simply allow the "Change Page Size" settings in "Set Page Boxes" dialog to result in a smaller page size (crop).

If you try this now, you get a "Page size may not be reduced." error. In the crop dialog. The place where you go to make the page smaller. The actual definition of cropping. Why not just let it crop to the size you type in, whether that's larger or smaller?

  12. When opening certain pdf files, the screen preview is not correct. The background "disappears". Sometimes though, the background will still print but sometimes it does not. I am on Mac in system Sierra and have tried these files on multiple computers including a pc, with extensions off etc. and always that same result. What I see is not what I get. If I place the pdf file in InDesign it will preview correctly and also export correctly so something InDesign does corrects the problem. I am attaching a file to demonstrate the issue.

  14. Bug: PDF Attachments of Certain Names Cannot Be Loaded or Saved.

Factors: The Bug does not exist in other reader programs. Attachment files of all names are accessible in both Foxit Reader and Mozilla Firefox. That is to say, the error pdf attached works as intended in those programs. Because of this, we doubt this is a symptom of our PDF creation tools. We deduce it is only an issue of Adobe's Acrobat Products.

Process: The PDFs in question (Attached Error and Working) were created using pdf-lib in JavaScript. The file data was downloaded in a JavaScript Environment and Packaged…

  15. The joined file is a simple image JPEG which has been converted into PostScript with 'jpeg2ps'. The resulting PostScript file is only a wrapper around the JPEG file which is coded in ASCII85 inside. Acrobat Distiller 20.0 (Windows) converts into a blank file. However, it was correctly converted in Acrobat Distiller X and XI. It's also converted correctly by GhostScript. Remark: I have renamed the file image.txt because it was impossible to load a file with the extension ps. However, when changing the extension to ps, it's my file.

  16. When working on a change that involves 50 different PDFs, similar but not exact, but all need the same little text box, cloud or arrow added to it - it would be helpful if when copied and pasted it would LAND IN THE SAME PLACE IT WAS ON THE ORIGINAL. It is time consuming to task to have to go to each PDF and adjust the placement.

  17. It is very nice to have implemented the thumbnail view of Acrobat documents in the Windows explorer.

    There are nevertheless three bugs:
    - Their display is very (too) slow: why not incorporating directly this thumbnail (as the corresponding option in MS Word) in the file itself?
    - The thumbnails are square, which means that they display blank artificial borders (vertical or horizontal, depending of the orientation of the first page)
    - Very often, these thumbnails are black, thus unusable (see attached screenshot).

Thank you to correct these bugs in a future update.

  18. If I double-click on a comment it rises in the height (because of the post-button). Sometimes it rises also without double clicking, just on one click! If I click on the next comment the comment before shrinks and the current comment rises. So the complete list AND the current comment slips up. So if I have al list of 1000 comments and copy every comment-text to paste it in InDesign, my eyes and my brain gets tired of the constant comment-slipping. It's also hard to orientate if I switch between InDesign and Acrobat. Especially if the comment panels just shows…

  20. 1 of several problems in how PDF Maker (and InDesign's export to PDF utility) tag PDFs.

In Table Editor, the editor's cell markers (bright pink lines) do not align with the actual <TD> data cells. This makes it difficult, and sometimes impossible, to correct a cell's tag.

Most commonly seen in complex tables with merged cells in the column and row headers. See screen capture.

    Also see this blog post:
    https://www.pubcom.com/blog/2020_04-05/ACROBAT_tableeditor.shtml

    EXPECTED RESULT:
Table Editor's cell outlines should match the actual cells.
