  1. Some characters in the Roboto Condensed font disappear when fonts are vectorized (outlines) in Acrobat Pro DC via the “Preflight” menu. However, no error message was displayed during vectorization.

  2. New in the latest version of Adobe Acrobat (2025), every single time I open a new PDF, the signatures tab opens on the left and blocks a third of the file view. Sure, I can go close it. But, every.single.time! Why was that chosen as a default? Every single file, even those that don't have any signatures on the page. Can I turn that off? I honestly really hate it.

  3. I got a weird error message saying that my review could not be started because my comments had too many characters. The longest comment in my document has 156 characters, nowhere near the 1000 character limit my document supposedly hit.

  4. After adding my own signature and then selecting the option to send to others, I include email address and my message and then click to designate the signature fields. The document reaches 60% and then says there has been an error.

  5. When I try to add a watermark, the first time select "Add" from the Watermark drop down, nothing happens. Second time, Add Watermark box comes up, but when I click OK error message appears: "Expected a dict object." Previous version worked OK when following same expect procedure.

  6. The Windows 7 interface to Acrobat Pro DC used to work just great until the last upgrade. You could use the properties menu selections to combine PDF files or to convert other file types into PDF just fine. It worked with XML and image file types to build a PDF. The latest Acrobat Pro DC now wants you to use a drag-and-drop to combine PDF files and gives errors with file conversion for document types that used to be supported, like XML.

  7. Never had any trouble printing to Adobe from MS Office programs before now, but since new team licence was purchased, we can't print to Adobe PDF or use the "Convert to Adobe PDF" option in MS Outlook.

  8. I would love to be able to Copy/Paste data from a PDF opened within the Microsoft Teams application, i.e. a user sends me a PDF in a Teams message. I have to download the file and open it up manually.

  9. Refer to the PDF review error message they are receiving (attached). I've never heard of this, but several of my developers (Chrome, IE, Edge, on Windows, Mac, or Linux flavors) all have the same problem. about 1/3 of people have no trouble, others get this error. Help!

  10. SO, I know that Acrobat is built on 25+year old code, but it's time to look at the biggest issue I have - that Acrobat is hopeless for batch operations because they are a clunky hack on top of an application that was never designed to work that way.

    Now I'm doing OCR on 36 files. It's running in the background, but I have plenty of CPU time free. Can I get on with editing some other PDF while this is running? NO, because Acrobat is busy. I have to use a different computer. If you have acrobat Pro as…

  11. The correct size of A2 paper is 4.25"x5.5" - NOT 16.5354"x23.3858" as the Print Document dialog box insists. Trying to print on A2 envelopes but the dialog box keeps giving an error message stating the paper size is too big. FIX IT please and thank you.

  12. I first generated my pdf with automated bookmarks.
    I then added a few pages and gave them bookmarks manually.

    When I try to edit these different bookmarks at the same time by selecting them both and right clicking to get the properties window, the program pops up the error message "Adobe has stopped working."

    The only way to edit these different bookmarks is by not selecting the different types at the same time.

    OS: Windows 8.1 Enterprise

    Expected result: I would like the properties window to open when different bookmark types are selected.

  13. It would be very helpful if you could have one web form that could be routed to different approvers based upon a field response. We have one form that is the same across multiple departments but has different approvers depending on the department. It would be simpler to have one form with multiple approvers than to keep track of a form for each department.

  14. Really, like less than a week? And it wouldn’t even open the .pdf I needed to read. I had to go get some off-brand software to get the job done. Apparently Adobe isn’t worth the trouble it used to be, and you think I would consider buying. ****, based on this experience, I wouldn’t even recommend to my IT department for them to buy for me.

  16. assign a unique id to acrobat document and when ever a document is copied or edited a new id is generated that link it to parent document. a central data base to be established by copyright owner of article.

  18. Using the Bookmarks tool needs to be added to the "Tools" menu - it is a crucial tool to have available immediately rather than having to use the search bar to find the Bookmarks tool. Secondly, Bookmarks should be available to add to the toolbar much like "Fill, Sign & Track." I use Bookmarks almost every day and having to search for it is ridiculous. Remove the "Measure" tool and replace it with "Bookmarks." Please!

  19. When importing text into Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, it often has single character errors throughout the document. In using your Find/Replace feature, it only worked once for only some of the instances. I think it has to do with your default to "whole word" being greyed out, but honestly this should be a straight-forward feature! It should allow any text string to be replaced throughout the document, especially formatting characters caused by import errors.   20. Please create the option to set a font for Form Editing, or fix the "Use Current Properties as New Defaults" to include the selected font as well. Helvetica isn't a common font, but I'd really rather not have to change it for every field I create on a converted document.
