I would love to be able to Copy/Paste data from a PDF opened within the Microsoft Teams application, i.e. a user sends me a PDF in a Teams message. I have to download the file and open it up manually.

cursor callibration
Is there a way to calibrate the cursor precision?
When using Adobe Acrobat, there is an issue with the cursor not responding as expected to mouse clicks when hovering over anything clickable like text, buttons, links, menus, etc. I am using the Larger cursor set by default provided by win 10 and now win 11. There is no issue with other programs, including other Adobe CC suite programs (P, LR, AE, ME, etc.), only with Acrobat. I've changed the cursor to normal size to see if that would fix but the same thing happens. When I hover over anything that…

Automatic printer selection based on document content
I run an ecommerce business and when fulfilling orders, label and packing slip pdfs are generated for orders. When i print labels, I have to manually select my label printer, then switch back manually to print packing slips on the laser printer. It would be an amazing feature if Acrobat Pro could analyze a document and if it had a bar code, for example, it would know it was a label and pre-select the label printer. Then switch back to default. It's shocking to me that no one seems to have thought of this feature. I wish I had…

Misleading prompt on files created using XFA LiveCycle
Idea posted here as a recommendation following the resolution of the ticket: E-000877044.
When a user tries to open a XFA PDF that was created using LiveCycle, with a non-Adobe viewer they would get an error stating the following:
"To view the full contents of this document, you need a later version of the PDF viewer. You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
For further support, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.htm"
This is shown even if the user already has installed Adobe Acrobat Reader, they just have not set it as their default PDF viewer.
That …

Key triggers unwanted action
By default, the action "Insert text at cursor" is linked with the insert key "Ins", which is fine.
For some unexplained reason, at some point, the "é" key always finds itself linked to this action in place of the insert key.
From this point, whenever I try to write the letter "é" inside a comment, instead of writing that character, it closes my current comment and generates a new, unwanted one.1 vote -
Route one web form to different approvers
It would be very helpful if you could have one web form that could be routed to different approvers based upon a field response. We have one form that is the same across multiple departments but has different approvers depending on the department. It would be simpler to have one form with multiple approvers than to keep track of a form for each department.

Acrobat Pro DC used to convert XPS files from the properties menu, but the latest update gives an error message about "not supported". Why?
The Windows 7 interface to Acrobat Pro DC used to work just great until the last upgrade. You could use the properties menu selections to combine PDF files or to convert other file types into PDF just fine. It worked with XML and image file types to build a PDF. The latest Acrobat Pro DC now wants you to use a drag-and-drop to combine PDF files and gives errors with file conversion for document types that used to be supported, like XML.
1 voteXPS to PDF conversion is not supported on Acrobat Reader. Please use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Acrobat 2015, and Acrobat 2017 for the same.

Problems with Changing Font Color in Acrobat Pro XI (PeeCee)
This issue relates to a feature request which I will submit separately. In the meantime, here is what I posted about this problem in the Acrobat Pro "Editing & Exporting PDFs" forum:
As described in a related "PDF Page Size" message thread, I am needing to change the font color of all - or a specified range of - pages within a 200-page PDF file, from dark grey to black. As stated in that separate thread:
In experimenting with changing the font color in a fully-justified three-column text document, in Acrobat Pro XI (Windoze 7 Professional), I am having disappointing…

FIND & Replace broken/hangs & should allow single character replacements, especially since problem needed after import errors
When importing text into Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, it often has single character errors throughout the document. In using your Find/Replace feature, it only worked once for only some of the instances. I think it has to do with your default to "whole word" being greyed out, but honestly this should be a straight-forward feature! It should allow any text string to be replaced throughout the document, especially formatting characters caused by import errors. Also, I did try the redact feature and it did NOT work as I need the formatting to be corrected. Additionally, although I did get a…

Crop Pages preference Even, Odd, All shouldn't be sticky between unrelated documents
When one crops a document, the "Apply to:" dialog preference selects between "Even and Odd Pages", "Odd Pages Only", and "Even Pages Only". This preference is sticky, based on the last document that was cropped. In practice, documents are uncorrelated.
To minimize user errors, Acrobat should default to a single choice users expect, "Even and Odd Pages". Or inspect the document, or at least notice whether one is on an even or odd page.

Adobe Acrobat Edge Extension & Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP)
Adobe Acrobat Edge Extension (v25.9.2.0) does not support rendering or decrypting PDFs protected by Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP). This technology is the core component of sensitivity label encryption. When the extension is enabled and set as the default PDF handler in Edge, it overrides Edge’s native PDF viewer, which DOES support MPIP. The resulting behavior is a failure to load MPIP-protected content until the extension is effectively disabled.

Document Cloud Typekit Service
Creative Cloud apps have the ability to disable Adobe Typekit font service but Document Cloud do not.
I would like to have the ability to disable users access to download Fonts.
If a user is assigned access to a Creative Cloud app (Font access disabled) and to a Document Cloud App (Font on by default) the user will have access to typekit fonts via the Creative Cloud app.

Disable signatures tab that opens every.single.time I open a new PDF
New in the latest version of Adobe Acrobat (2025), every single time I open a new PDF, the signatures tab opens on the left and blocks a third of the file view. Sure, I can go close it. But, every.single.time! Why was that chosen as a default? Every single file, even those that don't have any signatures on the page. Can I turn that off? I honestly really hate it.
