Tagged Form Fields Failed - Identify Form Fields Not Working In Pro 201
I have upgraded to 2017 (2017.011.30138)
I have created a form, adding my fields one at a time and changing the Name and ToolTip for each field.
When I run an accessibility check I get a Tagged form field - Failed error for every single field.
When I run Identify Form Fields nothing happens except the Identify Form fields and Autotag Form Fields options grey.
I went back to Prepare Form Tools and double checked the fields. They all have unique field names, and all have unique tool tips.
I tried to look at the field via the Reading Order panel and while I can see the fields (I have field highlights turned on) I can't select any of them and they don't have a structure type or content order like the text in the form does.
How do I get rid of this error?! or is this a bug?
I am attaching a screen capture of the first field as proof I am not crazy.

BUG: Text getting replaced when I combine similar PDFs
I just noticed this bug. Every month I combine several PDFs to send to my accountant:
- My bank statement
- At least one check image that's a deposit
- At least one check image that a payment.
Each check image has above it data pulled from the check Date of deposit, amount, check number.
No matter what I do or how I do it when I add in the second check the data mentioned just above is replaced with the data from the first check. So I have two images of check but all the info is wrong on the second check (besides the image)
All these files are PDFs. I just did 4 months worth of statements, and now will probably have to redo them all after converting things to jpegs to avoid Adobe doing whatever kind of weird substitution it's doing. This bug has just wasted a lot of my time. I saw someone has already posted about this but that case was closed without resolution.

repeated logged out/sign in messages after changing password.
Adobe Sign asked me to login. I couldn't remember my password so I changed it. Now I cannot send documents to anyone to sign. I get a message that I have logged out and must log back in. When I press the "Sign In" button, the page hangs/loops and nothing happens. I've logged out of everything, restarted the app. Reset the password in creative cloud after logging out completely. Nothing works.

File Recovery Program or Service
As I am sure happens with other customers, we have an issue where some of our PDF documents were damaged. A data room service had an incident where downloaded files were truncated. In some cases, the files will not open in Adobe, but they will open in other programs such as Microsoft Edge or SumatraPDF. This is because the footer is damaged, but while Adobe will not open a file that is missing the %%EOF statement or other portions of the PDF document specification, these programs ignore some portions of the specification that are not essential to the data within the document.
Short-term:
1. I would like assistance determining whether the truncated portion of my documents includes document content, or just the footer. While I can see the file is truncated in a hex editor, I do not know the PDF specification well enough to tell where the content ends and the footer starts. I understand there may be a way to recover the documents if just the footer is damaged, but if any document contents are damaged, I should not spend any more time hoping to recover the documents.Long-Term:
2. Access to a program from Adobe that is not as strict about following PDF specification standards. I understand this may not be possible as it may circumvent document security Adobe wants to enforce, but might be extremely useful in helping myself and others to recover data from damaged PDFs. Several other programs were able to open 30-40% of the damaged documents. I assume this is because Adobe demands a %%EOF or other specification standards or it won't open the document, but these other programs are not as strict in forcing documents to adhere to PDF specification standards.- A PDF recovery service from Adobe. In looking to repair these files, there are several PDF repair services out there that allow you to demo with the first page, or alternate pages of a document to see if it can be recovered, however, they are often not trusted sources, or cloud solutions that may or may not retain your data. When documents are important enough to recover, we would appreciate a trusted partner to help recover files.

Acrobat for Mac won't do High-Quality PDF with bookmarks and links
Making a PDF from a Word (2016 or 2019) document on the Mac, I can't select job options AND get bookmarks and links. I use the ribbon tool, which offers two options: High Quality and Online (which, ominously, tells me it uses Microsoft servers... why??). High Quality (using, I guess, Distiller) won't make bookmarks or preserve links. Online makes bookmarks and preserves links, but resamples. I end up making both and copy/pasting graphics from the HQ PDF into the Online PDF. Ridiculous workaround.

It seems you are using Acrobat Pro DC. We have taken your feedback for our online service to create PDF on Mac and have added it to our backlog. We will keep you posted on its status.
Thanks

Please add The function “select the same fill / stroke color" to Acrobat DC
In the Acrobat DC program there is no function “select the same fill / stroke color. Such a function exists in the program Illustrator and I often use it. The ability to select an object by color can help me remove unnecessary markup from a PDF file without opening the file in Illustrator.

Acrobat DC Standard hangs while loading license status
When opening any PDF, document loads in DC, then hangs for ~10s while license status is accessed. Once license status appears in lower right corner (e.g. "Your current plan is Acrobat Standard DC, annual"), app becomes responsive again.
New issue, very annoying, please fix.

Option to turn off AcroTray notification sound when PDF printing
When printing to PDF, a sound is made when the AcroTray notification pops up stating the PDF has been created. This is extremely annoying to myself and my co-workers and there is no option to turn off the sound. I print to PDF continually throughout the day and there must be some way, other than turning off all notification sounds on my computer, to stop this annoying feature.

How do I export 80+ PDFs that have been marked up in DC to c drive? i would like the exports to contain the markups from the reviewers. I would like to do this in bulk instead of 1 at a time.

adobe DC with optional document editing
Adobe reader is too simple and Adobe DC is too powerful.
You need to be meeting businesses to have an Adobe where you can create forms, add stamps, combine pages and sign but not edit the document. Just to focus liabilities on people who have editing capabilities.
Editing capabilities should be a feature that can be turned off at installation.2 votes -

Eliminate Startup Login Lag
I have a monthly subscription for Acrobat Professional several of my computers at my business. I have the creative cloud software installed on my system and ir is open and running. Whenever I launch a pdf document when Acrobat is closed, the program opens then freezes for 15 seconds or so while I think the stupid thing is retrieving my subscription for the 1000th today. I don't care about your piracy concerns. I do care that you are wasting my time multiple times per day by having your program freeze for a ******** reason. You should make the program operate independently from checking my subscription...

Review ignition failed
I got a weird error message saying that my review could not be started because my comments had too many characters. The longest comment in my document has 156 characters, nowhere near the 1000 character limit my document supposedly hit.
