  1. It would be great if from within Adobe Document Cloud we could make copies of PDFs. Currently the workflow that was described to me from tech support was that I would have to download the PDF then upload another copy.

  2. Brief title: resize bounding box is wrong size when pasting Excel table to landscape pdf page

Steps to reproduce the issue: Copy a range of cells from Excel and use ctr+V to paste it into a pdf page that has a landscape orientation. If you click on the image that is pasted the box used to rotate and resize the image does not align with the image. A work around is if you paste into a portiate orientation pdf page and then rotate the page afterwards the bounding box lines up.

Environment: Windows 11, Excel Microsoft 365 for desktop…

  3. In the commenting mode for Acrobat DC Pro, there are "strikethrough", "replace", and "insert text" tools, among others.

When I select and copy some text (for example, to count the words or rephrase it in another window), it copies the original text and disregards anything crossed out or inserted. This means I have to re-do all the changes by hand.

It would be great if one could copy the text in a way that incorporates the changes, similar to how you can opt to copy text with or without formatting, in some programs.

  4. Currently, you cannot copy text from a PDF file that's been protected for editing by a password.

To me this doesn't make sense. Copying text out of a PDF file isn't an operation that's altering the PDF file's content.

I receive bank account statements as PDF files protected for editing (which is a legal necessity). ... In order to create my balance, though, I need to copy the valuta data from the PDF to, for instance, a Microsoft Excel worksheet. Currently this is not possible.

So, I'd like to suggest to allow clipboard copy operations without first unlocking PDF…

  5. When processing information requests, I often redact multiple pages. Each redacted page requires a note (currently using a text box) regarding the reason for the redaction. If I have a range of pages that all get redacted for the same reason, I would like a feature where the same text box can be copied on the range of pages without having to manually copy and paste the text box onto each page. I am considering a subscription, and this would be an enticing feature.

  6. Signing PDFs with image files (handwriting) should accept vector files, not only raster files. File size is smaller, quality is better, and Adobe produces software for appearance-aware designers, right?

  8. I am using Adobe Sign to sign numerous documents. I need the signature field to show the date of signature as well. If the signers chooses to sign by typing or drwaing, I get the date below the blue line, but I dont get this if the signer uploads the singature as an Image.

I basically need the opposite of what is described here:

  9. Can Adobe provide a bulk "Print to Adobe PDF printer" tool with the option to enable "Print as Image" I support a law firm that is currently dealing with 3rd party PDF Producers that do not combine correctly (missing font/text) in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. This is due to the fact that not all PDFs on the internet are created using Adobe. We deal with a massive amount of public internet PDFs and currently Print as Image is a manual process where the end user has to open one PDF at a time then print to Adobe Printer ask…

  10. Adobe Acrobat version 21.001.20135 appears to have a bug related to pasting contents from Excel and LibreOffice. The contents will paste in as an image instead of text in the focused textbox being edited. Troubleshooting this with Adobe support had no luck, but Adobe support was able to successfully downgrade me to version 20.013.20064, which does not have this issue. Thank you.

  11. When you have to resize a field such as a check box, it is more efficient to do a copy and paste. However, it is a pain to have to go back and edit each and every field with a unique name. This occurs because your paste autopopulates the name field with the same name. This feature should be able to be turn on or off as needed.

  12. The display of images in Adobe Acrobat since the update to version 2025.001.20630 has been incorrect/corrupt. In the attached see the Adobe Acrobat desktop version on the left and the correct image in a web viewer on the right. This issue is causing significant disruption to our business

  13. When opening the attached PDF Acrobat DC on Windows and Mac don't display the image. Sometimes they also report an error: There was an error while reading a stream. I haven't been able to reliably get it to report that error.

To reproduce open the PDF in Acrobat DC. There should be a large photo filling the page. Instead the image isn't loaded and the background is white. If you load the PDF in any other PDF viewer you will see the image.

Reproduced in MacOS 12.3.1 and Acrobat DC 2022.001.20112 and Windows 10 running Acrobat DC.

  14. On a Mac using Adobe Acrobat, updated to Version 2025.001.20997, I have encountered a recurring issue with using an image to add a signature on PDFs.

I receive an error message saying the JPG file is corrupt, though the file does not otherwise seem to be corrupt (i.e., with other applications).

I believe this is a bug because I can get around the issue by uninstalling and then re-installing the Adobe Acrobat app using Creative Cloud.

This is not an issue when I am using Adobe Acrobat on a PC.

  15. Issue: When preparing a form to send for signature, Image Field is an allowable field, and looks/works just fine in the preview. But during the step of upload/document processing (for signature), the image field is stripped out with no warning message or alert that the form you are about to send to your recipient for signature has been changed.

Enhancement rationale: Images are often a necessary component of prepared forms (need photo ID for an employment application, perhaps a pet photo for tenant screening, a voided check for ACH initiation, etc.). These forms require both images AND signatures.

  16. Place image (click field, browse for image, image selected, fit with options to Fit Proportional to Image and Fit proportional to frame) in fillable, save-enabled PDF form via READER, not edit via Pro. This is to allow end users to place a logo in a standardized form (sponsorships, partnerships, etc). To limit this to Pro as a layout option only is such a waste.

  17. I spent 45 minutes trying add a simple image to a pdf page. At first, I tried a .tif and it imported with a black background. Then I changed it to .png and tried to import, but I got a "corrupted" error or "file type not supported". So I changed it to a jpeg and got the same error. Then I restarted the software and tried again. It imported the jpeg but all the text and borders that should have been set in stone in the PDF were mysteriously chopped up as if it were a word document with bad…

  20. I need to convert some bank statements into excel. However, the conversion is highly distorted, across various cells, and almost unusable. Sharing the attached sample.

Do you have a solution that you can share.

I have tried, online links and conversion of these files work fine there, But because of security issues, I need a trusted software and hence trying to use Adobe.
