  1. Those page number divisions in the comment pane are problematic. It is SO EASY when clicking into that pane to accidentally hide a whole set of comments and not notice. I have zero use for those dividers, and it woul be nice to be able to make them go away and not clutter up the comments pane.

  2. If you configure the bAcroSuppressUpsell policy (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/FeatureLockDown.html#idkeyname_1_11881) to 1, all access to tools disappear in the 'All tools' menu when using the Modern viewer , although some of them must not be affected by the policy and are visible when switching to the classic viewer

  3. Found a reproducible crash in Adobe Reader DC -both free and Pro version (likely 100% occurrence in core i7 U series 7th, 8th gen, Xeon Gold, AMD Athlon):

    Prerequisite:
Under PREFERENCES>GENERAL, "Open documents as new tabs in the same window (require relaunch)" is UNCHECKED. This means every time I open a new PDF file, it will appear as a new window instead of nested tabs.
    - Opening a PDF file with highlighter markups
    - Opening a comment pane of that file
    - Then opening a new PDF window (from the same file): Window>New window
    - Opening another PDF file or…

  4. There also needs to be a way to save customize Quick Tools settings. If I rest the toolbars, I then have to manually set up quick tools again when I want to go back to a certain arrangment. They should work like workspaces do in the other Adobe programs.

Thank you for the suggestion. We have notified our engineering for the same. We shall get in touch with you incase we need more information.

    Thank you for the patience

  5. Under customizing quick tools, I've added the protect -> Encrypt item to quick tools. When launching a new PDF I can easily click the padlock and choose 2. encrypt with password on my PDFs.

However, if you go to Edit then Preferences, under the general category, uncheck 'Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires relaunch)'. Close and reopen any PDF, I can no longer choose 2. encrypt with password. Can you please fix this bug

  8. I like the quick-access to the Tools in Acrobat, but please allow us to select WHICH 4 tools we see. The defaults are Create PDF, Export PDF, Fill&Sign, and Protect, but in my workflow, I almost never use these tools. I use Edit PDF, Combine Files, Organize Pages, and Prepare Form daily, and would very much like to have these on my front page.
Also, I have the Mobile app already. How do I get rid of the ad asking me to download it?

  10. The sharing, feedback, tutorial and notifications icons in the top right don't seem to have a way to hide them and free up the real estate for more useful icons. The is especially important when using a single monitor with two documents side by side. I need to be able to see the page forward and back buttons

  11. On Mac, ctrl-cmd-H is used to highlight text. But when I accidentally typed that sequence in Acrobat, it made both the "quick tool" floating menu AND the "All Tools" panel vanish. Since I didn't know what I'd done to make them vanish, I had no way to bring them back: there is no item anywhere in the Acrobat menu that allows that.

Fortunately restarting the Acrobat app makes the floating menu reappear. I finally worked out how I was making it vanish and realized that typing ctrl-cmd-H would bring it back. But there should be an option under…

  13. When sending a sharable pdf document to several people so they can edit it we need to have access to all editing tools. Currently, when you open a regular pdf, there are 13 editing tools available. When you open the cloud-based sharable document, there are only 5 tools. We used to be able to have a shareable pdf AND access to all tools but no longer.

  14. Fix Disappearing Quick Tools
I see where others had this issue in previous versions, but I'm having the same issue for months now with my Windows 10 64bit - Adobe Acrobat DC 21.007.20099. I can add the Quick Tools I want to the toolbar, but then after some random number of open and closings of the program, they all disappear and I have to set them up again. I've uninstalled, deleted all Adobe program files, reinstalled with the same result. No add-ins for Adobe.

  15. The tool sidebar is too close to the scroll bar, and make it difficult to use and select the scroll bar, which is almost always used. Make the position and/or the visibility of the tools sidebar a preference, since this redundant control is available using many other existing ways. This is the must frustrating, duplicative, and unusually located user control I have seen in many years.

  18. Change default open screen to Tools Tab Adobe DC Pro.

I would like to be able to open Adobe DC Pro and it already be on the Tools tab instead of the Home tab.

I think this could be accomplished by having this as setting to give users a choice.

  19. Periodically, Adobe lets you know of what they think are wonderful ideas, but they do so by rebuilding my pinned tools list.....so I have to go and select MY tools AGAIN. This is the fourth for fifth time in six months and I am really getting sick of it. Who gave you the right to adjust what tool items I have pinned. You know, the ones I know I use....not the one some marketing A-Hole can only think (hope) I use. Absolutely a pain in the butt.
