  3. When I place a comment, a trash can icon or sticky note icon appears, but those icons only get in the way of the content I'm trying to comment on. It would be great to be able to disable that feature.

  4. The Read Aloud Speed can be set i note settings. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to do anything. Support threads on this topic haven't been addressed by Adobe in years. Could we get this feature working?

  5. With FIPS mode disabled, users have three selections of encryption levels:
    * Acrobat 6.0 and later compatibility (128-bit RC4)
    * Acrobat 7.0 and later compatibility (128-bit AES)
    * Acrobat X and later compatibility (256-bit AES)

There is concern amongst our security community that 128-bit RC4 is not a very strong encryption method. We would like to be able to prevent users from choosing this option. It would be helpful if there were a security policy or registry setting that would allow us to hide this encryption selection from all menus.

  6. When using the add comment text tool the text appears normal when initially typed but fades when clicked away from. The support agents I spoke with said there should be an opacity slider for that tool however there is only the option to change color.

  8. (Acrobat Pro DC)

Suggestion: Add an on-the-fly "Form Field Detection?" checkbox above/underneath the "Requires Signatures" checkbox.

In previous versions of Acrobat Pro, on clicking Create Form, there was an on-the-fly option to "Detect Form Fields? Yes/No."

In DC, this option is changed into a default setting that always applies.

Accessing it first requires reading the fine print (which I missed the first three times); clicking the link to the correct section of Preferences, finding the correct setting, and then checking the box. In total, 3 clicks to change a hidden setting.

While I think it is a good idea to…

  9. There should be an option to split all pages of a document in the middle. For example, when scanning books, a double page always equals one page in PDF. Cropping every page is very cumbersome

  10. I like the quick-access to the Tools in Acrobat, but please allow us to select WHICH 4 tools we see. The defaults are Create PDF, Export PDF, Fill&Sign, and Protect, but in my workflow, I almost never use these tools. I use Edit PDF, Combine Files, Organize Pages, and Prepare Form daily, and would very much like to have these on my front page.
Also, I have the Mobile app already. How do I get rid of the ad asking me to download it?

  13. I understand that some new features come from users that want these features however making them mandatory for everyone is not great.

It would be great if Adobe got smart about the Updates and had a pop up that could be accessed any time after an update which allowed a user to switch new features either on or off. That way we the user can control how the software works and if done correctly Adobe could build it so they get reports back and even feed back on why something is switched off or on to enhance the software in…

  14. It would be helpful if there was a Redaction Properties menu bar that could be more easily and quickly accessible when redacting a PDF document. The attached file is a picture of the properties menu I am referring to. If those options could be placed on a menu that was available on the top or side of an open PDF, that would be great!

  16. Hi,
I do a LOT of scanning via Acrobat Pro DC. I am often creating multiple documents, but each time I initiate a scan I have to select a folder to save the documents to (usually 5 or 6 clicks in an AWFULLY BADLY DESIGNED folder selection window.

I ask just ONE thing - can you please provide an option that allows me to specify a DEFAULT folder that will be selected when I wish to scan (and save multiple files).

This is the biggest pain in my *** right now - adds 7 clicks and 20 seconds every time.…

  20. In my personal CC for Photographers I can see computers CC is installed on and deactivate them if I wish (not that I need to) but CC for Teams does not have this function, even when logging into the individual accounts attached to Teams.

This is a big oversight and should be a basic part of team management functionality, when managing many licenses and the fact that each user has to have an adobe ID setup for them to admin them is cumbersome enough but the fact there is even less control in CC Teams than personal CC accounts in…
