  1. Custom stamp isn't populating the Stamp icon in Acrobat DC Pro for some Macs even when it is in the Stamp Folder. The custom stamp works on all Windows OS and all Mac OS but a few Mac users are having that issue.

    Hello,

    Most likely this seems to be an issue with the permissions with a user profile on the system, please try the following steps and check if that helps.
    1. Create a new user profile on the affected Mac machine, and test the scenario again.
    2. Check the permission on Adobe folder and Sub-folders, match with non-affected Mac machines:

    Location of Adobe folder:

    It’s in your user (Home) > Library folder. In recent versions of Mac OSX, this is hidden by default.

    In the Finder, hold down the Option key first while choosing Go > Library so you can see it.

    Then find it in:
    Library > Application Support > “Adobe” > Acrobat > DC > Stamps

  3. I insert a file (page) and it just duplicates page 1 as page 2. Doesn't allow me to insert a different file, it just duplicates page 1

  4. Could not find the menu for import FDF file to PDF file. It was next to Export all the comments to FDF file. Sometimes I need to merge some different reviewers' comments into 1 PDF file, I need this.

    Also, online review is not available for some kind of commenting? but it didn't say detail or how to solve the problem, I could not do anything. Is it possible to show us what was wrong?

  5. We are encrypting documents all the time.

    It would be amazing if there was a keyboard shortcut to encrypt a document (with password option).

    Fingerprint log in option is more used nowadays, May I open all my files with my fingerprint? It can be an integration between Adobe and Windows Hello. I could add several passwords for all the files but the unique - and swiftest - password could be my fingerprint.

  6. Dear Adobe team.
    I'd like to mention that for some reason, when I am on any app and I want to print as PDF, the quality of the file when I choose Microsoft Print to PDF is much better than when I choose Adobe PDF printer... That's very strange to me, given that as long as I know, you are the creators of this standard... Same thing happened when I had a mac. The built in PDF printer was much better than the Adobe one.   7. You used to have access to Creative Cloud files when logging in with Adobe ID on Acrobat or Reader (on PC or iPhone). A recent update removed this function. Please bring this back! We like to collaborate and edit/view files from Creative Cloud whether on a mobile device or desktop. Creative Cloud needs to be a "storage account" again.

  8. This service operative wasted over an hour of my time. He is not qualified enough to fix simple problems.
    Please view chat on Bomgar and get back to me. He wasted over an hour of my time. Luckily I spoke to someone else and they fixed issue in 15 minutes.

  9. You need to be able to set the text callout bubble height and width of the comment boxes without having to resize every single one individually. This is a huge waste of time. And I think it would make this program more efficient.

  10. I download a large pdf document every day. This must be broken up into smaller documents, but there is NO EXTRACT BUTTON! I have to open the "Page Thumbnails" and highlight what I want to extract, then right click, hit "extract" and go from there. It takes so much longer!

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
    You can use the extract button by following below mentioned steps:
    1) Open a pdf
    2)Click on Organize pages
    3) Now click on extract
    4)Now you can select the pages you want to extract
    5) Also you have the option to ‘Extract pages as separate files’

  11. Even after I remove the hidden text layer in a PDF, I'm still not able to run an OCR with "ClearScan" (i.e. "Editable Text and Images"). It's strange because the text layer appears to be gone, yet running OCR produces the error "Acrobat could not perform recognition because: page contains renderable text."

  12. I have a purchased pdf with bookmarks and links to areas throughout the same documents. However clicking on the bookmarks does not do anything.

    I have checked the link by
    right click
    selecting 'edit link'
    selcting 'actions'

    The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

    Bookmarks and links appear to be set up correctly so I am not sure why they are not working?

  13. Create "Save As" or "Clear Form" for Adobe "Fill & Sign" so that we don't overwrite an original form and have to re-download each time we use the form.

  14. hey all,

    i have a problem, when i add header then add page number to portofolio , adobe add page number for each pdf alone (from 1) and next pdf start from 1 again, is it possible to have continuous pages number across all portfolio pdfs.

  15. With Acrobat Pro DC v 2018.011.20058, I am editing an existing PDF. Once the document is exported to Word, mixed page orientation occurs, while the page orientation seems the same across the document within Acrobat. Steps to reproduce: open the attached PDF and export to Word. Platform Windows 10

  16. Reproducing the bug:
    1) Open a document
    2) Enable comments
    3) Open a new window for that document
    4) Enable comments in the new window
    5) Go back to the original window for the document
    6) Enter an edit (e.g. replace text)

    The program jumps to the second window for entering the edit. This is not at all desirable or expected behavior.

  18. Need the ability to view comments by reviewer/commenter to quickly see who provided feedback and what feedback. Perhaps a side pane filtered results (by reviewer) similar to how bookmarks work.

  20. PDF's when opened will sometimes crash the whole Adobe Acrobat Pro program. They open afterward, but the event viewer shows a fatal error of some kind. I copied four of these into the attached text document.

    We would need more details on steps to reproduce the issue. And do you experience it on Win or MAC or both.

    Share the version of acrobat you are using. You can do so using the link -https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

    And also share the test PDF file using forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 for us to investigate further.
