  1. I have the full version of Adobe Acrobat (DC) and it functions just like Adobe reader. I work with a lot of assembly drawings and I like using Acrobat for annotations, creating lines and notes - I treat it like a lighter version of Illustrator. Since I started using DC, it has been a struggle. I can't find the usual icons that I frequently use in XI and that DC works soooo slow despite that I have a $5k professional computer. Auto-Cad now responds faster than Adobe Acrobat DC. Please bring back Acrobat XI !!!

    I hope the Adobe folks…

  3. I have set scheduled runnig a batch file whcih indexes over 200,000 PDF files every weekend. However index creating has become failed since the week before last and not be able to create .idx files also.

The number of PDF files increases by about 100-200 during a each week, so that I suspect this problem is caused by excess of the max indexable number of PDF files.

    [Questions]
    1. Is there any threshold about the field of indexing?
    2. Is this issue caused by intrinsic bug of Acrobat Pro DC?

  5. Simply just opening a pdf and attempting to scroll up or down causes the document to lag every time. It's renders the program nearly useless. Since I am paying a month subscription, I expect to not have problems like this.

  7. Adding a feature to delete documents that you no longer need or have downloaded by mistake. I cannot find any way to delete something I no longer want in my Adobe documents. It is kind of frustrating to have to look at the same file to see if I want it and not be able to get rid of it once I see I don't need it. Thanks.

  9. In fact, all languages supported by the open source tesseract project should be available to Adobe customers. Better yet, Adobe licenses OCR from I.R.I.S. S.A. and meanwhile Readiris 17 has support for 130 languages, including Icelandic. Time to update or lose some license restrictions and move open source. What are you paying for, other than sub-par technology? Tesseract is a project supported by Google with an Apache 2.0 license.

Foxit and ABBYY Finereader also have support. Adobe is severely lagging behind here. The tesseract engine is particularly good at character recognition but does not have a very nice interface. There…

  10. Please consider a stamp that has a checklist included. This will allow teachers around the world to mark effectively. The custom stamp will relate to the criteria marked. The checkbox stamp will have custom skills to award the mark to the criteria.

  12. Hi,

The last 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat DC has introduced the possible display in Windows explorer of the file thumb. Great, BUT it is extraordinarily slow and in practice unusable (in particular in the Windows 10 welcome screen of the explorer, showing the recently opened files: it seems that the cache is rebuilt every new session).

So, please make the appropriate changes in the program to speedup this display, which is very useful.

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. For your information, I work on a DELL XPS desktop with an NVidia GTX 970 graphics display card and my main drive…

  13. Issue: When preparing a form to send for signature, Image Field is an allowable field, and looks/works just fine in the preview. But during the step of upload/document processing (for signature), the image field is stripped out with no warning message or alert that the form you are about to send to your recipient for signature has been changed.

Enhancement rationale: Images are often a necessary component of prepared forms (need photo ID for an employment application, perhaps a pet photo for tenant screening, a voided check for ACH initiation, etc.). These forms require both images AND signatures.

    So Adobe's…

  14. It would be really nice to be able to customize the message that automatically populates when sending a document for signature. Instead of it saying "Please review and complete this document," we would like to change it to be the message we paste in every time.

  17. I understand that you can import stamps, but it is way too complicated. Adobe should come with more standard stamps. I use Adobe to create and review tax workpapers. There is no easy way to add a check mark next to items I have reviewed without several clicks per check mark. This process should be a standard feature and easily accessible.

  18. Currently when a user fills a form image field annotations are placed below this image, making it impossible (or arduous for the pdf creator) to annotate images that have been filled into the form.

Seeing as it's an intuitively powerfull tool to be able to annotate (nb. point out) things on an image I'd like to see this be easyer to accomplish/baseline.

    See: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2467988

Thank you in advance for the consideration.
