Can't print pdf files
Hi,
I have Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro - Build: 18.11.20040.280397, operating on MACOS High Sierra 10.13.4, with a MFC Brother printer.
all of a sudden I can't print any files unless I go into advanced settings in the print dialogue box and change to print as image?
I have updated my mac, my printer and adobe acrobat with no success. I have attached a screenshot of the error msg in my printer queue.
6 votesHi Bert,
Could you check if the following steps works for you?
1. Open Print dialog
2. Click on “Advance” button
3. Select “Postscript Options”
4. Change “Font & Resource Policy” to “send for each page”
5. Print your documentsThanks

Adobe Sign app for Windows
The Adobe Sign app is currently only available on Android and iOS platforms. Can you release a Windows version please, so that the "sign in person" functionality in the app can be used by those with Windows-based mobile devices?

More useful Admin Console
Will Adobe be giving more access to this type of information from the Console. The new console is useless - it does not have any value. The main things people need to do is reassign license, resend invitation, and check usage.

Not working, rubbish
So I bought this damned thing to edit a pdf. Is it editing the pdf? No. Can I cut? No. The cut command is greyed out. FFS.
$276 right down the drain. Thanks so much, Adobe.

BE able to save multiple subsections and bookmarked Sections as a PDF rather than the whole document when PRINT action does not allow subsections to be saved through printer dialogue. Going to save as just saves the whole document again. NOT the selected Subsection or multiple pages.
1 voteHi,
Thanks for your valuable feedback.
We have recorded it as a feature request in our database.
However saving multiple pages to PDF option is there. You can give selected pages in ‘Pages’ option on print dialog.Best Regards!

Bug: Errors when trying to "scan-optimize" a signed PDF
I have a signed/certified PDF. Manipulations on this document are per se forbidden. However, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC allows to run the scan-optimizer (OCR, rectification, etc.) which causes a row of error messages: For every PDF-page, it shows two pop ups.

livecycle crashes on preview
Adobe Livecycle ES 4 crashes repeatingly after opening the preview screen. It's irritating. I see a lot of ad hoc repair items in this blog by the Adobe Support team (outsourced). There are a lot of issues in this case. When will Adobe really do something about it.
Please let's have a call. In the early days Adobe issues will be solved. Since it's outsources the issues are increasing huge in my opinion.

Ed Boon

Acrobat crashes after upgrade to 18.11.20040.19174
After an upgrade to latest version 18.11.20040.19174 of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC was installed yesterday on my machine (Windows 10 Pro, version 1709) - Acrobat crashes 90% of times when trying to open any PDF file (sometimes it opens given file correctly and after closing the application and trying to open it again - it silently crashes). There is one third-party add-in installed that I'm using which worked fine so far, but now Acrobat crashes.
I can provide you with a crash mini-dump if you want (68MB as ZIP)

GCInvoker Multiple Instances
On a Windows server where multiple end user remote to the device and use the Adobe Pro software installed, AdobeGCInvoker automatically becomes a scheduled task for each individual user and runs once every 24 hrs. If 300 users connect to the server and use the application, 300 instances of GCInvoker will become scheduled task. This is highly inefficient and undesirable. The GCInvoker should be reconfigured to only run once per day under the local administrator account on the server, thereby removing the additional clutter from the list of scheduled task on the server. Bug with internal links when converting PDF from Word
This is a bug. When using the acrobat extension in macOS microsoft Word to convert the doc to a PDF it removes internal links. It works fine for external links such as websites, but if I put a link in place that quickly takes you to another place in the document when clicked, this is removed when converting to a PDF. The text still appears blue but the link is not existent.

Bug - Acrobat no longer opening files with macOS High Sierra / Security Update
Recently I updated to Security Update 2018-001 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 - since then, none of my Acrobat instances (DC Pro, X) works anymore: I can start Acrobat, but as soon a I try to open a file, Acrobat hangs (showing the "rolling ball") and I have to force quit. Deinstallation and re-installation did not solve the problem.

Add option to keep documents from moving/resizing Acrobat window
Some PDF documents seem to contain meta data content that's causing Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader to move/resize their program window when such document is opened.
This behaviour is rather annoying and it may lead to accessibility issues.
Please, either stop Acrobat/Reader from moving/resizing their program window when opening a document containing such meta data information, or provide an accessibility option in Preferences to optionally have Acrobat ignore that meta data information.
6 votesHi,
The issue faced by you is due to the setting of the document set by the user. Please see the following setting in the document :
1. Open Document→File → Properties → Initial View Tab → uncheck Center Window on screenPlease make sure the setting is not checked in your document to avoid the issue.

I need to be able to preview my PDF as it will appear on mobile devices from the desktop edition
some of my audience will access the content from mobile devices. I need to know what their experience will be. Otherwise I will need a different solution for the publishing content

BUG - can't edit fields in a form
I open a pdf and go to tools > prepare form> open then select a form.
As soon as I click on 'add a field' or an existing field, a stopwatch icon appears and Adobe closes. So I can't edit a form which makes a fillable pdf form impossible. Given the fee I pay every month I am NOT happy.
Yes I have the most current version, Yes I tried the 'repair Adobe' option.
