1. acrobat destroyed my text

   It's the second time Adobe Acrobat Pro has literally destroyed all my text after I finished editing my file. I have to do it again now. If it happens again, I will cancel the subscription and find a good program, not this junk.

5. invoices

   I would like to request that Adobe adds an option to automatically send monthly invoices directly to my email. Currently, I need to log in and download them manually, which is time-consuming.
   This feature would be extremely helpful for accounting and record-keeping purposes.

6. handwriting

   Recognition of scanned handwriting is extremely bad, even at maximum resolution. There should be a learning process within the Acrobat software in order to help the tool recognizing my handwriting better. I should be able to help the tool in recognizing the handwriting better and better. So far, this is not documented anywhere nore available in any way. Strange...as it was for many other software more than 10 years ago already.

7. PDF printing not working in certain programs

   When using Adobe Acrobat, there was no problem with PDF printing, but after installing the licensed version, PDF printing is not possible in certain programs.

10. Recent release (2025.001.20668) Crashes when scrolling pages

    The most recent release of Acrobat Pro as of 09/11/2025 on Mac OS Sequoia is buggy and at times almost unusable. At times I can't even scroll pages without the application hanging up. I need to force quit periodically when navigating through my document. With Adobe's continual attempt to add new features such as AI components, you bombard users with all your new brilliant ideas without fixing all the problems you morons either create or overlook.

12. recognize text in selected thumbnails

    Recognize text in selected pages/thumbnails

    I want to open the thumbnail view, select the pages that need OCR, and then have the ability to right click and select an option like "Recognize text in selected pages."

    I work with a lot of files that have scanned images scattered among hundreds or thousands of pages that don't require text recognition; I want to select only the pages that require text recognition and apply OCR to those pages without having to keep updating the OCR page rage. If we can select and print non-consecutive pages, we should be able to do the same with OCR. This would be a gamechanger and save me hours of manual labor.

    Note: OCR'ing the entire document is not a good solution in many cases. That can take a very long time, and the text recognition process sometimes has trouble with renderable text (the resulting recognized text becomes scrambled, or the file size increases dramatically).

    In der aktuellen 64-Bit-Version von Acrobat ist die Mindestbreite des Programmfensters sehr gross. Dadurch kann ich nicht mehr als zwei PDFs nebeneinander sinnvoll anzeigen. Für Arbeitsabläufe mit 3–4 Dokumenten parallel ist das eine klare Einschränkung der Arbeitsfläche.

    Vorschlag (Feature-Request)
    Bitte führt einen «Kompaktmodus» bzw. eine Option zur Reduktion der Mindestbreite ein. Idealerweise als Voreinstellung (z. B. «Fensterbreite kompakt») oder via Umschalter, der die linken/rechten Paneele schlanker macht bzw. komplett ausblendet.

    Nutzen
    • Effizienterer Vergleich mehrerer Dokumente.
    • Bessere Nutzung von grossen/Ultra-Wide-Displays.
    • Schont Workflows, die bis anhin mit 3–4 PDFs nebeneinander gearbeitet haben.

    Seitenleisten einklappen, mehrere Fenster statt Tabs, Zoom-Einstellungen, neue/alte Ansicht → keiner erlaubt eine wirklich schmale Fensterbreite.

    Problem

    In the current 64-bit version of Acrobat, the minimum window width is very large. This makes it impossible to place more than two PDFs side by side on one screen. For workflows that require 3–4 documents in parallel, this is a significant limitation.

    Feature request
    Please add a “Compact mode” or an option to reduce the minimum window width. Ideally as a preference (e.g., “Compact window width”) or a toggle that slims or fully hides the left/right panels.

    Value
    • Faster comparison across multiple documents.
    • Better use of wide/ultra-wide monitors.
    • Restores productivity for users who used to work with 3–4 PDFs side by side.

    Tried workarounds
    Collapsing sidebars, multiple windows instead of tabs, zoom options, new/old view → none allows a truly narrow window.

    Windows 11, Acrobat 64-bit (new UI). Please consider Reader as well.

14. Acrobat Pro crashes when combining mixed‑dimension JPGs into a single PDF

    In the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, attempting to combine multiple JPG files of varying pixel dimensions and DPI into a single PDF causes the application to close abruptly without any error message. This occurs consistently when at least one image in the batch differs significantly in resolution or aspect ratio from the others.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    Open Acrobat Pro (latest build).

    Go to File → Create → Combine Files into a Single PDF.

    Add multiple JPG images with different dimensions/DPI (e.g., mix of 300 DPI A4‑sized scans and smaller 72 DPI images).

    Click Combine.

    Expected Result:Acrobat should successfully create a single PDF containing all images, scaling them as needed.

    Actual Result:The application closes instantly without any error dialog or crash report prompt. The PDF is not created.

    Additional Notes:

    Issue does not occur when all images share the same dimensions/DPI.

    The crash occurs regardless of whether images are added via drag‑and‑drop or the “Add Files” dialog.

    Workarounds include pre‑normalizing images to the same size/DPI or converting them to PDFs in smaller batches before merging.

    As a new customer to Adobe Sign, we were assured during onboarding that the platform offers feature parity with DocuSign. However, one critical gap we've encountered is in contact management. DocuSign offers the ability to bulk upload and edit contacts. The address book included with Adobe Sign is not well thought out. Currently, Adobe Sign saves contact information after a transaction is created. Once saved, users are not allowed to update or correct contact details—even when errors or changes are identified. This presents several challenges. The inability to manage contacts proactively creates a greater possibility of manual errors and wastes time. Sending documents to outdated or incorrect contact information increases the risk of data exposure, compliance issues, and delayed agreements. DocuSign, by contrast, offers full address book functionality, including bulk import/export of contacts (e.g. via CSV) and editing and deleting contact information. In my opinion, Adobe Sign is falling behind if this core functionality is not improved.

17. Sending PDF per Mail Outlook new

    We have switched our email software to Outlook New. Since then, the Send function in Adobe no longer works. Previously, we could simply click on the envelope icon, select “Send by Email”, and a new email would open with the PDF attached.

    Currently, it is not possible to set Outlook New as the default email program. Adobe does not recognize it as an email application and shows the message that no email program is installed.

    This issue causes us significantly more manual work, as we now have to save documents separately and attach them manually to emails.

    We kindly ask you to consider this for the next update.

18. BUG - language change

    When switching language while acrobat reader is the active window(alt-shift shortcut) the application freezes - happens on every PC - I've tried with Cyrillic alphabet, not sure if it's the same for all alphabets.

20. Remove or move the "Try PDF Spaces" botton to a less annoying place

    You have added a button called "Try PDF spaces" exactly where the All Tools button was and forced the All Tools button to the right. Presumably this is to force clicks as folks who have memorized where the buttons they actually want to use are located and may click without looking. Get rid of it or move it to a less annoying place that doesn't disrupt workflows please. We already pay for your program - don't force us to navigate to things you want to promote. If it was actually good you wouldn't have to place it in the way to attempt engagement.
