  1. I have had the most unimaginably bad customer experience today with you products. I bought a new computer (MacBook) and attempted to load the software I purchased in 2015. For the last 8 hours I (or one of our people here at our company) have been trying to contact you or work through your chat capability or simply follow some instructions (not findable) to complete this simple task. No success. Could you please have someone contact me as soon as possible.

  2. Our county's superior court system requires that we e-file all documents into the court; upon filing a document with the system ("LINX"), LINX timestamps it.

    This doesn't work with a certified e-signed document, because Adobe locks the document from future editing. If I try to e-file a certified copy, LINX immediately rejects the file, because of course LINX can't timestamp it.

    I'm forced to print out the file, physically scan it again, and e-file the document that I had e-signed in the first place! Am I missing a checkbox somewhere that I can check, to force Adobe to allow editing…

    Hi Molly, Kevin,

    Thanks for writing to us.

    From what I understand, you require your PDF to be digitally signed again, after you have shared it after certifying and digitally signing by your signature? Can you please try these steps and see if this is what you require:

    1. Open PDF in Acrobat DC. From Tools→ select ‘Prepare form’ app and click Start. Add (at least) 2 signature fields from top toolbar and save the document
    2. Right click on the first signature field and select ‘Certify with visible signature’. In the Certify Document dialog that comes up, under ‘Permitted Actions After Certifying’, select ‘Form fill-in and digital signatures’
    3. Now sign the document by adding your signature
    4. Send the document to LINX now

  3. I am running Windows 10 and the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC was installed on my machine as an Update by Microsoft. I uninstalled it in error. Regardless, why would I have to buy Pro after the 7 day trial, when it was installed Free by Microsoft as part of Windows 10 update?

  4. I'm trying to delete pages from a multi page document in Docman (PCTi Solutions) with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I am not getting the delete option unless I check the full document out onto my desktop, edit it there, drop it back into Docman and delete the original. I want to amend the original not delete it. What an I missing??

    This looks like an issue with Docman. Did you try getting in touch with their support team?
    If they need any help from Adobe in adding some functionality, they can contact us through corporate channels.

  6. If you have the "new" DC Reader...get rid of it.
    it's slow.
    it's choppy.
    The phrase "Not Responding" shows up more than a taxi in New York City.
    This has got to be the crappiest Adobe product I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
    I've told my company's IT department to start looking for something else.
    Acrobat Reader DC is pure American ****.

    I suggest you update your Reader to the latest version and if you still face any issues please elaborated them and allow us to help you.

  7. I have using a registered Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. Lately I have upgraded by operating system to Windows 10. The registered Adobe Acrobat Pro XI always stop working and reported error.

  8. When editing a PDF, I can't select some font styles (e.g. "Futura Condensed" is not available in dropdown).
    There was no problem with Acrobat XI.

  9. Adobe cc fails to sign in at startup, but when it is signed in opening an adobe dc attachment still fails to sign in to use signature.

    Windows 10 pro (64 bit) running on a dell xps 15" 4k screen 2017 laptop.

    We apologise for the issue you are facing. Are you still having this issue?

    After you have signed-in in CC and launch Acrobat, you need to wait for a few seconds before the signing-in process completes in Acrobat.

  10. I am offered to try Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for 7 days. When I click the try-it-free button in the Adobe letter sent to me, then accept an installation, I find that I have no days left to try! See pictures.

  14. In Mac, I have always used Command+P+P to save anything as a PDF (i.e., print to PDF).

    Since I've installed Pro 2017 this feature no longer works. I know it works in Sierra, which is what I'm using, because it works on my other Sierra machine in which I have not installed Pro 2017. So it must be a peculiarity to Pro 2017.

  16. I'll first give an example then explain why Acrobat Pro DC needs better error messages.

    We often work with large PDFs (sometimes 10,000 pages or more) that are created by joining together many smaller PDFs in Acrobat Pro DC.

    Bates Numbers are applied and sometimes removed and re-applied as the document get's built.

    Sometimes something goes wrong when editing the PDF.
    For example Edit > More > Bates Numbering > Remove... gives an error "A number is out of range."

    This error unfortunately comes up for us a lot which I guess is to be somewhat expected when combining hundreds…

  18. I wanted to use Font Awesome icons in Forms, but is not possible. I choose the Font Awesome in text field properties, but doesn't show when I want to copy an icon from the cheatsheet - the same technique works with every other Adobe program. This is a cheatsheet that I use: http://fontawesome.io/cheatsheet/. The font is installed on my computer.

  19. I cannot upload as the information is sensitive but there seems to be a programme glitch when you are editing and then saving over PDFs. I have just attached a screen shot instead. It happens maybe 8/10 times but when you are editing the text on PDFs random missing letters appear. It seems the only way to get around this is by copying and pasting the letters back in place and this doesn't even always work. The PDFs were originally designed in Indesign and saved out as PDFs as templates to be edited afterwards. I have called Adobe many times…

  20. The same options for creating a personalized signature should be made available for creating personalized initials. Specifically, I'd like to be able to import an image file of my initials. Currently, the only options are to type your initials or use the cursor to digitize them. Neither sufficiently replicates the look of real, handwritten initials.
