  1. Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro v. 17 purchased via order 142075619 on a MacPro desktop running OS 10.9.5 (Maverick). I used the serial number posted. Near the end of the installation process it says that it cannot be completed because of an error. But it does not explain what error it is. Checked disk for permission problems, tried again, same error. I am at a loss because the installer does not identify the error.
    Please advice how to proceed.

  2. Hi, I found a hang in current release Adobe Acrobat DC (2017.012.20095) when working with Microsoft Outlook on the Mac OS X. I've reproduced on two different Mac models with different versions of the OS. (10.12.6 and 10.12.4) and different versions of Outlook (15.37 and 15.28). This started happening very recently so the problem has to be in a recent update and I think it is because we upgraded Acrobat to the latest on the effected machines.

    Steps to reproduce primarily setup related. We heavily use the Share menu so that we can mail PDF files quickly as they are…

    Hi Ken

    You can change the page dimensions after inserting them. You need to simply select the pages and go to ‘Set Page Boxes’ option under ‘More’ in the Organize Pages app.

  4. Adobe Sign is not working 8/18/17 for sending any documents. We have tried sending from multiple accounts and a variety of different documents. We have tried using the workflows and just the Send button. It gives back this message: Adobe Sign was unable to create your agreement because the document could not be thumbnailed. Please let me know you need more information.

  5. Each time I open a pdf document sent to me by my publishers, a pop-up dialbox comes saying EDIT PDF with the option ADD I don;t want this; besides, it costs money, I'm broke. How can I get rid of this unsolicited horesment? no unsubscribe!

  7. An error occurred while trying to create a mail document. Adobe Acrobat is unable to complete your request.

  8. When I use the Combine Files feature with files named with numbers, they are sorted alphabetically rather than numerically.
    For example, instead of getting a file sorted:
    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, etc.
    I get this sorting:
    1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 20, 21, 22, 3, 30, 31, etc.

  9. Problem: I am unable to open a pdf (from hard drive i.e. desktop) while I am in the 'save as' menu for another pdf file.

    Reproduce:
    1. Opened an pdf from Microsoft Outlook.
    2. Went to file > "save as'
    3. Used windows explorer to open another pdf that was saved on windows cloud storage.
    4. Unable to open second pdf file.

    Environment: Windows 7; Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 04581.

    Expected Result: I should be able to open the second pdf file

    Observed result: Unable to open second pdf file

    Bonus: Results occurred once I was out of the 'save…

  10. When I use the Google Drive File Picker in Adobe Sign and trying to search, the result is always blank. The same search in Google Drive shows the files I'm looking for.
    macOS 10.12.6 using Chrome Version 60.0.3112.90.
    The problem occurs on different adobe sign accounts and different laptops.

    We apologise for the issue you are facing. We need some more information from you to be able to investigate this further:
    1. Do you see a completely blank file picker dialog? Or you see the file list but search returns 0 results in Google Drive files?
    2. Can you please try quitting all Chrome browser instances (check that no Chrome instance is running in activity monitor) and then re-try?
    3. Do you observe the same on Windows too?

  14. Allow an option to extract a part of a PDF page and save as a new file so it is a new file only showing what you want. This would be similar to cropping and then print to PDF the cropped page to eliminate the extra file size. The key is to keep the original file resolution / clarity.

    You can extract complete page/pages using the pages app. Once extracted you can crop the new file as per your needs. This would maintain the original file resolution / clarity as required by you.

  16. I have had the most unimaginably bad customer experience today with you products. I bought a new computer (MacBook) and attempted to load the software I purchased in 2015. For the last 8 hours I (or one of our people here at our company) have been trying to contact you or work through your chat capability or simply follow some instructions (not findable) to complete this simple task. No success. Could you please have someone contact me as soon as possible.

  17. Our county's superior court system requires that we e-file all documents into the court; upon filing a document with the system ("LINX"), LINX timestamps it.

    This doesn't work with a certified e-signed document, because Adobe locks the document from future editing. If I try to e-file a certified copy, LINX immediately rejects the file, because of course LINX can't timestamp it.

    I'm forced to print out the file, physically scan it again, and e-file the document that I had e-signed in the first place! Am I missing a checkbox somewhere that I can check, to force Adobe to allow editing…

    Thanks for writing to us.

    From what I understand, you require your PDF to be digitally signed again, after you have shared it after certifying and digitally signing by your signature? Can you please try these steps and see if this is what you require:

    1. Open PDF in Acrobat DC. From Tools→ select ‘Prepare form’ app and click Start. Add (at least) 2 signature fields from top toolbar and save the document
    2. Right click on the first signature field and select ‘Certify with visible signature’. In the Certify Document dialog that comes up, under ‘Permitted Actions After Certifying’, select ‘Form fill-in and digital signatures’
    3. Now sign the document by adding your signature
    4. Send the document to LINX now

  18. I am running Windows 10 and the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC was installed on my machine as an Update by Microsoft. I uninstalled it in error. Regardless, why would I have to buy Pro after the 7 day trial, when it was installed Free by Microsoft as part of Windows 10 update?

  19. I'm trying to delete pages from a multi page document in Docman (PCTi Solutions) with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I am not getting the delete option unless I check the full document out onto my desktop, edit it there, drop it back into Docman and delete the original. I want to amend the original not delete it. What an I missing??
