1. Consistency Placing Stamps and Signatures

   Hello, I've already had a conversations with one of your representatives, Tanvi Bhalla. She suggested I go this route. If at all possible we would utilize a feature that allows consistency in the placement of signatures and stamps. While the grid feature does help, it is not consistent. We use documents that require signatures and stamps in the same exact locations. It would be beneficial if this could be done electronically and documents look more professional if they are consistent. Maybe a function that allows you to snap to the exact same coordinates every time. I see that there is already a function that shows you the coordinates, but doing so automatically would save time. 2. multi core support adobe acrobat pro DC

   I see that Adobe Acrobat Pro DC only uses one core of the many cores today in PC.

   For example if I use OCR or improving documents, it takes a lot of time. Page per page is done using only one core.

   Please update the software that it uses more cores (like adobe premiere does). This will drastically improve the performance and our efficiency.

3. Set Time Zone for Adobe Document Cloud Reviews

   When sending out a document for review via Adobe DC, an email is generated that notifies the recipient of the review. The email notification defaults to PST. Please include an Adobe Document Cloud Account Preference option that includes an option to set a time zone so the local time zone is accurate when deadlines are emailed to the recipient.
   A time zone setting is available in the preferences for your signature settings but not for the document review.

4. new update makes work inefficient

   This recent update is extremely frustrating. It dropped off tools that were in my toolbar previously (page view/zoom options disappeared) and I had to figure out how to get them back.

   Not only is the comments bar is now uglier/bulkier, when you have sorted comments to not include ones marked as completed it no longer dynamically removes the comments you mark as you go. You now have to go back and clear your comment filter and reapply "none" to hide completed comments.

   To add insult to injury, there is no longer an option for other versions in ACC, so I can't just roll back to a better version.

5. Constant sign in pop up is a PAIN

   That frigging sign in pop up constantly appearing is a screaming pain in the butt. I open a doc and read it. I print a doc and save it. I print a doc and insert additional pages. That's all I ever do. I don't give a flying red rat's rear about the friggin' cloud. If I want to sign in I will. Make this bloody annoyance go away or I will cancel my subscription and simply use the one time purchase product. BTW don't think we aren't aware that this constant sign in and cloud **** is nothing more than you and God knows who else stealing our information for God know what purpose. That's right I don't trust you. MAKE THE SIGN IN POP UP GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. Re-enable emailing without saving first!!!

   Up until the last update, it was possible to email a pdf without first saving it. It is a total waste of time and space to have to save something you don't need to keep just to be able to email it.
   
   PLEASE FIX THIS BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!!!

7. User- Friendly Accessibility Tagging

   Please change the way Adobe Acrobat does the reading order so that the tags in the tags pane will automatically correspond to the order in the Touch- up reading order pane.
   Also please make it easier to tag links - when I try to tag links it doesn't work right. Please consider creating a version of Adobe Acrobat that makes it easy to comply with Section 508 as described at Section508.gov. Dealing with the tags pane is a nightmare and also the unmarked annotations issue and other issues are a nightmare and don't fix easily. Please make this easier to use so the people will be more cooperative about complying with Section 508. Thanks.

8. "enable scrolling" an option in preferences.

   Please make "enable scrolling" an option that can be set in preferences. There seems to be a "single page continuous option, but it does not seem to have any effect.
   It is tiresome to have to set this for every document.

9. Brilliant idea: let users customize their interface

   I don't want the forced tools on top, including Home, Tools, Document, and several of the page display icons. I'm a genius and I'll offer a brilliant idea: let users customize their own screen!

   When the window isn't maximized, there's insufficient room for all the tools, and the default unwanted ones prevent the ones I need from being displayed! When the + and - zoom icons aren't shown, they're also not even listed behind the 3-bullet icon on the far right! This is obviously a bug. It's further difficult since Acrobat refuses to zoom when using Ctrl-scroll on a "high-precision" Dell trackpad.

   Acrobat has existed for 24 years, and yet Adobe still lacks the sense to let users decide which toolbar items they want. Please build a time machine and fix this 20 years ago.

11. Comment popup text very difficult to Select and Copy to clipboard

    Open an existing comment bubble popup that has text in it. Select (highlight) the text. Now just move the mouse cursor slightly outside of the comment popup boundary. The text you highlighted becomes unhighlighted! I can’t even express how maddeningly frustrating this is. We have hundreds of edits a day that we need to copy the comment text out of Acrobat.

    We are CONSTANTLY selecting the text, hitting COMMAND+C, switching over to a different program to paste, only to realize that either nothing gets pasted in or the text from the previous edit is still on the clipboard. I finally realized this is because of the roll-out unhighlight issue. At normal work speed, we highlight the text, hit COMMAND+C, while moving the mouse outside of the box all in one fell swoop (hard to explain but a very natural workflow). What happens is the mouse moves outside of the popup box just before we hit COMMAND+C, so the selected text never makes it to the clipboard.

    I've attached a video showing the issue.

    Older versions of Acrobat such as X and XI never had this issue. Highlighted text stayed highlighted until you actually CLICKED somewhere else. That’s how it works in every other app and that’s how it should work here. Begging you to please fix this. Thanks.

13. Adjustable Graphic scale set for Measure tool.

    As an architect or an engineer, we are always managing plans with different scales that have (usually) a graphic scale for reference. The measure tool would be EXTREMELY useful if includes an option to set the scale by selecting two points on an eventual graphic scale included within an existing pdf... this will help to quickly have the pdf in scale and ready to be measured.

14. "Content preparation progress" takes too long

    Whenever opening pdf file, Acrobar Pro DC always shows a window titled as 'content preparation progress". This takes too long and blocks file content & makes hard to read file content.
    Sometimes several minutes, sometimes forever!
    This needs to be improved.

15. Group/Lock text and corresponding form field together so they can be moved together

    I create many forms and every time I create a text field and corresponding form field (whether text box, check box or radio button) I have to move them around separately. the text fields end up grouping together with other unrelated text fields and adjusts line spacing randomly which makes it double-triple work to move around and adjust when laying out the form. Text fields should be left individual with option to merge with other text fields if desired. It takes me way longer to create a form than necessary because i have to constantly readjust the line spacing and ungroup text fields by recreating them.

    I’ve got Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release Version 2015.006.30355.

    The PDF file seems to be a nicely composed PDF with Adobe InDesign CS5.5 (7.5.2).
    The font used, Museo Slab is a publicly available font, I bet it should not have any major issues.

    In the said file, page 47 there are multiple issues with a context having a ligature ffi in the source text ‘office’. This is the only occurrence in the file containing the word ‘office’.

    1. When Copy/Paste is applied from Acrobat Pro to Notepad++ with the regular Select tool, I get C2 8A UTF-8 bytes which is shown as [VTS] in Notepad++.

    No ‘office’.

    1. With Text Edit tool (Tools > Edit PDF > Edit) I cannot select the entire word. Only starting from the second letter. I try to do selection both with mouse and with SHIFT+keyboard arrows. No way to select the first letter. BUT as for the remaining letters, I get all the components of the ligature as correct letters in the output with Copy/Paste to Notepad++:

    Just ‘ffice’ of ‘office’.
    But this shows that there is facility to get normal text from ligatures, however it is not implemented correctly or not at all in all the tools and scenarios making them all buggy. Why can I not select the leading ‘o’?

    1. Also, when exported to HTML, the ligature gets encoded as C2 8A in UTF-8.

    The same as for Copy/Paste.

    If the routine which allows copying ffi from the edit tool was applied to Select and Export tools, some of the Acrobat Pro bugs would be fixed.

    I have several other bugs in my list. If this makes sense for Adobe, please confirm, and I will keep posting. Moreover, I hope these will be fixed asap. These bugs are there since at least v9.

17. Headers and footers should use document's page labels instead of inventing page labels

    I want to suggest an improvement to Acrobat Professional:

    When adding headers or footers to a document, I suggest that the mechanism use the document's page numbers, instead of inventing its own.

    For example, my document has page numbers A.1 through A.29 followed by B.1 through B.7 followed by C.1 through C.6 ... followed by V.1 through V.11.

    Right now, it seems that the only way I can get the actual page numbers to accurately appear in the footer is Add 22 different footers. That's an onerous task.

18. Subscription & activation system is very very poor - wasted most of today with it

    I have a fully paid subscription with correct Visa card details - keeps telling me the TRIAL MODE has expired - logged in, logged out a million times - useless, absolutely useless - should get a refund to cover lost salary
