  1. Bug. I work with two monitors, and when I have the Adobe Acrobat window on one monitor, it shows as it should, but when I move the window to the other monitor the icons in the Windows taskbar multiplies, which get very annoying after just a few open dokuments. If I try to close a tab, the "duplicate" window in the taskbar is still there but empty. It has been like this for the last two updates of Acrobat I think. Please fix this error!

  2. Can we please have a debloated home screen in Adobe Acrobat?

Looking at the current layout, half the screen is wasted on stuff I’ll never use:
    • Curated project ads like “Unlock your sales potential with TED” — this isn’t why I opened Acrobat.
    • AI features pushing “summarize your notes” when all I want is to view and edit PDFs.
    • Meeting transcription integration — how is this even related to a PDF tool?

And the strangest part: if I’m running Acrobat DC (formerly Acrobat Pro, Acrobat X, etc.), that already means I’m a paying customer. Why is the…

  3. Would be great to have a version that wasn't trying to force AI on you... Can those who want AI features use an AI version, and keep the base version without AI?

  4. The dang AI pop up keeps popping up in front of things I need, I don't know how to read what I need without it popping up in front of it... you make the cursor go away and the pop up goes away, but when you go back because you're trying to highlight something it just pops up again... give it it's own space, not floating in front of the documents. Same can be said for the toolbar... keep it off my document, keep it below or on the side, do not cover the whole reason why I have this…

  5. I have spent way too much time trying to find tools I use all the time. There is nothing intuitive about the new interface. I reverted back to the old version and I'm happily finding and using the tools I need.

  6. Running Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2024.001.20604 on a Mac.

Previously, we could change the commenter name and make the new commenter name a default by editing the comment "Properties > General" and then checking "Make Properties Default", as detailed here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-cc-comment-name-change/td-p/9307260

With the most recent update, "Make Properties Default" has no effect. It continually defaults back to each individual's Adobe User Name with every new comment. We can change each of them by hand, but cannot change the default behavior.

We can enable Edit>Preferences to "Always use Log-in name for author name", but that will only use the log-in name…

  7. The icons are way too small and are greyed out so not very legible
also the most important icons are buried in the bottom right so drop off your screen completely - the most common thing u do when opening a pdf is to enlarge or shrink the size, its a right pain hunting the icons to do that, every time.

  8. Dear Acrobat,
Please listen to customers and stop alienating them. People become dependent on your product through work, then you switch up things and worsen the lives of untold numbers of people. You deserve to lose income in a large scale as a result, faster instead of slower. Stop harming customers. Start making it easer to give you feedback. Start paying attention to it. By making things confusing and harder, your product deserves to lose in the market. But you are leveraging your existing market position to hurt people instead.

  9. The new toolbar isn't great but I can live with it. However, it FREQUENTLY protrudes over the document when you use a tool with a submenu or the type tool with the font and color options. This is very bad, especially when adding a comment in the margins. Since it is possible to move the toolbar, why not make it possible to orient it horizontally at the top or bottom of the page? That way, it won't obstruct lines in the middle of the document that happen to be close to the edge.

  10. New Acrobat has at least 5 menu / tool locations that can not be hidden and panels that pop out.

To call this messy, annoying and cluttering is an under statement.

At least the top menu bar has been slimmed down compared to the prior version.

The top window edge has enough space for all items.

The bottom edge status bar can stay.

ALL OTHER BARS SHOULD BE COMPELTELY UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE USER FOR CONTENT AND VISIBILITY - AT THE APPLICATION LEVEL, NOT PER DOCUMENT.

Ideally, for my uses, Acrobat should open one windows PER document (another bug/omission,…

  14. Acrobat previously had an option to have buttons for "Preview View" (using a left arrow icon) and "Next View" (using a right arrow icon). This is no longer the case in the new user interface. Please allow this to be added to the customizable toolbar. Thank you.

  16. This needs to be massively cleaned up. Tools don't work intuitively, workflow is choppy at best. Understand new functionality is being added, but, the smooth fit-for-purpose flow the older versions had where you can get in and out, get your job done is massively broken so badly that we all actively avoid using the tool as much as possible until we have absolutely no choice. It feels like it's trying to become a destination that sinks a massive amount of time. I want my tools to be quick, easy, efficient and get out of them and on with my core…

  17. So many issues. "Thumbnail not yet available" , using classic mode "exceeded page limit" with only a 2 page document. Switching to "new experience" you can't place signatures. So many issues. We have signed out of Adobe and signed back in. Uninstalled Adobe and Creative Cloud. Signed back in. Please please fix this soon as we have employees that need this to do their daily work

  18. The annoying Tools Bar shows up no matter what I do. I have gone in and checked unchecked, checked again. But every single document opens with the useless Tools Bar!
Also, when Acrobat upgraded why did all my settings vanish?? I have to set it up the way I like it all over again!

  19. RETURN TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF ACROBAT. YOU HAVE TAKEN EVERY SINGLE THING GOOD ABOUT IT AND MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. ONCE AGAIN, LEAVE A GOOD THING ALONE! THE NEW VERISON IS NOT QUICKER, NOT EASIER AND CERTAINLY NOT AS USER FRIENDLY. AND, NO IT ISN'T BECAUSE IT'S NEW. THINGS THAT ARE IMPROVED ARE INTUITIVELY EASIER TO WORK IN. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT.
