  2. Transparency grid / solid background toggle.

    There should be an easy to find, one click toggle type button that changes the background from white to the transparency grid.
    I often work with PDFs with some amount of transparency for one reason or another, and when showing people that are not familiar with the transparency grid it gets confusing, so if I could quickly toggle the background to white that would help out a lot. Actually, being able to toggle bleed lines and such on and off would be a big help too.

  5. Unable to change Acrobat DC default settings

    Acrobat DC doesn't remember settings of action "Create PDF file from scanner", in Output: i have to manually select "Multiple files" instead of the default "One File",
    and when saving files at the end of the scan, i have each time to change the default acrobat directory.

  6. Bug: Cannot send for signature

    Steps to repro:
    1. open an already saved pdf with a field for signature
    2. Click 'send for singature' in the right hand nav
    3. complete the info and click next
    4. receive error saying that cannot connect to service per the screenshot attached

    Environment:
    Mac OS Sierra (version 10.12.6)
    Adobe continuous release version 2018.009.20044

    Expected result:
    That I can send for signature

    Observed results:
    Get an error and cannot proceed to send for signature

  7. Select text and Scroll

    Highlighting is the main reason why I use pdfs. The main method that I use is selecting the text through hold left click and drag followed by right click and highlight. Usually the page is zoomed so that I can read the text. In a two-column journal, it is often the case that I want to highlight text from one column [bottom] to the other [top] but because the page is zoomed in, the page has to autoscroll back to the top - the speed which this happens is very slow.

  8. Tab order feature

    The field view is entirely too small to manually edit tab order. This should either be a separate pane or perhaps a pop-out window. I easily have over 100 fields on one page and it's impossible to order them as I need to (by column, within a section or rows of fields). Default tab ordering structures (By Row, By Column) are not useful here. Need more flexibility to set tab order manually.

  9. Latest updated version Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2017.012.20095 problem

    The latest version is taking too much time while saving the file. Sometime the latest version gets corrupted after saving. We fill that the older version was better.

  10. Customize individual tool selections in toolbar

    Allow users to customize the toolbar- add some (not all) drawing markup tools, comment tools, editing tools, highlight tools, without having to add an entire group. There are tools in a group that I never use, but I must select a group and wait for it to load, rather than seeing all my frequent tools at one time.

  12. right-click

    It would be really nice if the "Underline" tool was included in the right-click menu. Right now the Mac version has an option for highlighting and striking through, but not for underlining.

    We are requesting Adobe to enable native support for Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP)–encrypted documents within Adobe Acrobat Sign cloud workflows, as currently files protected with Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels using Azure Rights Management cannot be uploaded, rendered, or processed for signing, forcing organizations to remove encryption and thereby weakening their security posture; this creates a critical enterprise gap where organizations must choose between maintaining compliance and secure data protection or enabling essential business processes such as legal, financial, and HR document signing, and therefore we recommend implementing Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) SDK integration for secure handling of protected content…

  14. Allow ALL AI functionality to be disabled. Stop forcing slop and unwanted "features". AI is the worst.

    AI should be OPT-IN only. All software should have "features" disabled by default with the option to activate this garbage.

  16. AI Generated Content

    My acrobat documents are getting hover tips that give an image description and say it's AI generated content. It sounds like it's saying that the image is generated by AI when it is not. It is not fair to say my creative work is generated by AI and to convince my clients of that!!!

  17. No AI, Add Favorite Tools Option

    The Home menu is terrible, and continues to get more and more cluttered with every update.

    First, why does my "Recommended tools for you" list, default to AI every time I open this app, and I have to click an arrow to the next page with the actual tools. I am so sick of companies shoving "time saving" AI down my throat that actually just ends up wasting my time.

  18. Bookmark Panel

    Please, please allow a feature to DISABLE the bookmarks panel. It is completely useless in most cases but always opens on every new document. I open a lot of new PDFs every day, and EVERY SINGLE ONE pops up with a bookmark panel that is useless and takes up half of the viewing pane, which I then have to close. Truly, it is enough for me to stop using this program and find any other option, even if it has fewer features. This feedback does not seem uncommon when I spent a lot of time searching around for a solution.

  19. Acrobat Output Preview panel behavior change: Simulation Profile changed appearance, now values

    If I change the Simulation Preview profile in the Output Preview panel, it used to be that I would see my color simulated as if it printed/displayed in the other environment. Now, however, it's actually changing the color values to keep the same appearance. This is a bad idea. We need a way to turn this off or at least toggle it.

    I'm currently seeing this behavior in the 2024 version. I'm not sure with which version this changed.

  20. Scrolling not working on "Bookmarks" and "Advanced Search"

    Since the latest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC update, scrolling is not working on "Bookmarks" and "Advanced Search". Please downgrade to last version ASAP when the scrolling works. This is causing so much inefficiency, and for the last 10 days work has been so much delayed. I think this is not just a matter to be fixed ASAP, but also needs proper apology and reward for the users who are paying a fortune in subscribing this Acrobat Pro DC.
