Logic Error in the Design of Setting Up Bookmark (or Link) to the Lower Half of Any Page in a PDF File
With setting the view of PDF file as fit to window, any 2 consecutive pages are displayed at consuming around 50% of the screen. whenever we user create any bookmark at the lower part of the first of these 2 consecutive pages. For example, p.100 and p.101 are showing simultaneously, i.e. bottom part of p.100 is showing at the top 50% of the computer screen. However, the page no, showing in the menu bar had became p.101, i.e. any bookmarks to be set at this bottom part of p.100 do not connected correctly. Please refer to the attached video for…

Make the program usable for Mac
Adobe Acrobat DC is virtually unusable on an iMac. The scrolling is unacceptably slow and cannot keep up. This is an issue that has been going on for ages. I have resorted to using Acrobat reader on a parallels virtual machine, where it is much faster.
Simply scrolling forwards and backwards uses up to 100% of the CPU and no graphics acceleration.
Why the **** don't you fix it Adobe? It's a disgrace.

Fit to Page
If I change the document to fit to one page, every time I push another bookmark in the document it is back to full page scrolling view. It takes forever to scroll through one page of document in this view for some reason. Please fix this feature.
1 voteHi
Thanks for Reaching out to us for your concerns.
Looks like the Zoom settings of your bookmark are set to FitWidth.Requesting you to kindly change the Zoom properties of your bookmark to set it to FitPage or Inherit Zoom.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks

Scrollling
Please fix the scrolling speed. This is the only software that has such a high-speed scroll. It's always been this way for like 7 years. It's impossible to scroll through a document at a slow speed.

Adobe Does Not Understand Their Users
There are so many parts of Acrobat that seem completely out of touch with how users actually use the software. Who in their right mind would make UI element states save in EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT? The bookmarks bar, the tools pane, the page view and scrolling method, etc. should all be part of the default software UI settings. I don't open the same PDF 20 times a day, so changing the view setting and then saving the document doesn't do anything for me. In fact, I mostly work with controlled documents, so I can't even save them if I wanted…

Group Layers and manipulate more than one laer at a time.
Currently layers list as one group when created with AutoCad. Microstation will create a layer hierarchy with referenced files.
The ability to group layers from within Acrobat would be very useful, a drag and drop facility like the method for bookmarks would make this an infinitely more useful file.
Also, the ability to manipulate more than one layer at a time. Currently setting a default state needs to be applied individually. To be able to apply states across multiple layers, ie on and off or default state would be an enormous time saver.

The scroll bars are invisible when using Window's dark background theme.
In Window's dark app modes, the scroll bars (vertical and horizontal) go invisible and it is extremely hard to navigate. See the attached for a comparison between the same document in dark and light modes.

Create Expandable Text Field Forms
Adobe Acrobat Pro needs to have the ability to create expandable text field forms that allow the text box to expand when the user types similar to what you can do with Livecycle.
This is a feature that has been requested a lot online. Currently Acrobat Pro only allows multi-line text field forms with a scroll bar, but you cannot create an expanding text field form that increases in the height of the text field to accomodate more text.
The functionality to create this even in Livecycle is too clunky and complicated to use.

Bug - Organize Pages: Split Pages
When splitting pages with the new update, I have to reselect my options to use the bookmark names as the file names and split by bookmarks multiple times before it will actually perform the feature. It always defaults back to Split by Number of Pages, and after reconfirming my selection will split it with the file name Add Label and Number after Original Name Option. It takes a couple tries to even get the document to split, and a couple more to get it to correctly split with the requested name - this was never an issue before the update…

thumbnail section no longer slides with mouse cursor
You can no longer slide the thumbnail/ bookmarks in and out with the mouse cursor. It is now hit or miss how wide you need it to be; I'm too busy to be doing that. Why would you take away the sliding feature?

Scroll bar - Why is there no scroll bar?
Please put a scroll bar on Acrobat like every other program has. Hiding the scroll bar unless I use the wheel on a mouse does not work because due to repetitive stress injury as a production artist I can not use the wheel on a mouse. Why can't we just have a normal scroll bar? There is no reason to remove a scroll bar. This is so difficult to work on multi page documents and having to use that wheel is painful. I can't imagine this is considered ADA "accessible" and what purpose does it serve to make it harder…

save as dialog
Improvements for Save As... dialogue:
- extend recent folder from 5 to ... in options (5 locations is not enough for me)
- add Nextcloud as a cloud service provider (API's are available)
- add an option to disable the Adobe "extra" save as... dialogue as the default Windows Shell save window has way more functionality (more bookmarks and direct access to cloud or network folders not supported by adobe.

replace page(s) very cumbersome
The way the tools lay out in Acrobat 11 are very easy for page replacements. Because the documents we work with are lengthy and complex, I'd like to see Replace tool much easier to work with.
I want to see simultaneously:
* Bookmarks or Thumbnails
* The PDF pages (current document)
* the Replace tool icon ready to useIn the current product (Acrobat Std DC 2019.021.20056) has an icon for Replace that is hard to find, and when clicked, you are forced into a visual layout that is rather difficult.
I need to navigate with my bookmarks, or…

Bookmark View
Company updated to 2020 Adobe Acrobat Pro Previous version was 2015. the 2020 version does not have any lines connecting the bookmark structure. It's a lot EASIER to see when the lines are present in the bookmark tree. How can I get the lines in the bookmark tree to appear like in the 2015 Adobe PDF version?

AI Assistant
Get that damned AI Assistant button OFF the top of my screen! It keeps popping up right over top of the scroll bar, making it impossible to quickly advance through the first page of a document -- right when all the introductory material I want to skim past is there. Why can't this thing be removed or disabled? The last thing I need is a summary made by a bot with the intelligence of your average high-schooler. This is the most annoying software add-on since "Clippy".

New Layout is Counterproductive
New layout of Adobe Reader is utterly counterproductive, and makes everyday use of Adobe Reader much slower and confusing.
I, as well as many other users I know, am using Bookmarks and Pages in at least 95% of times when I use Reader. Therefore, they should be placed on the left, where they are expected to be (it is simply a standard for similar "master-detail" situations).
Also, primary tools, like paging, zoom-in and -out, are placed in a bottom-right corner, just like they were hiding?! But these are the basic tools, and they must be placed centrally, either on top…7 votes -
Default Bookmark View
There used be a setting where you would create a bookmark and it would capture whatever the view ...... not zoom......view of the page. For example, lets say I am bookmarking a picture on a page and its sort of to the lower middle of the page and small. I used to use the dynamic zoom to this object and bookmark it. The bookmark would not only keep the custom zoom, but the location on the page as well. After the most recent update, this option is no longer default. You have to go bookmark by bookmark and adjust them…
