highlight straight line
All the HELP articles say by holding the shift key and dragging the highlight tool, it will highlight in a straight line. When I hold down the shift key, it disables the highlight tool. (When I drag the highlight tool, nothing happens.)

Faulty translation in Swedish
In Swedish we use the word "Finder" for the Finder. Please don't translate it literally to "Sökare", which also could be translated as "Searcher" and just confuses things.

Blue Overlay being caused by Color Management bug and HDR
There is an outstanding bug in Adobe Acrobat Pro where the Colour Management Profile is randomly corrupted when creating or opening PDFs, and this is still occurring with the latest update, 2026.001.21483. A blue overlay gets added to the document and you keep having to go back into Color Management and mess around with the configuration settings to eventually remove it. This appears to be more aligned with Calibrated HDR Displays in WIndows 11.
Come on Adobe, this is unacceptable for a Paid Product!! Can you please fix this, as it been reported on and off in your Community Forums…

Formating text - and the text box itself - is now IMPOSSIBLE!!
The newest version of Adobe Acrobat Standard is horrible. I've used Adobe Acrobat in my work forever. Loved it. I upgraded to the newest version (Version 2026.00 1.21431) in August and I still can't work with the text box. And this is the feature I use and need most. I have to save the pdf file, transfer it to my old PC and use my good ole Acrobat 2017, which works beautifully. But the 2017 version will soon no longer be supported. I don't know what I'll do when I can no longer use the old version. Why on earth…

Fix Editing Issues in Data-Heavy PDFs (EV Battery Reports, Logs, Tables)
Editing structured PDFs in Acrobat is still frustrating, especially for real-world documents like EV battery reports, diagnostics, and technical logs.
Trying to update simple things like values in tables, charging data, or performance metrics often breaks formatting, misaligns content, or requires rebuilding sections manually. For documents that are updated regularly, this becomes a constant pain.
Acrobat should handle these use cases much better.
Key improvements needed:
Proper table-aware editing (not just text boxes)
Stable formatting when updating numbers or data fields
Easier editing of repeated report structures
Better handling of technical layouts without breaking the documentAs more industries rely…

Export PDF comments to .txt, or .docx
From the Comments pane, I go to the three ellipses to access more options, and choose from there "Export All To Data File", this option provides two file formats only (PDF and XFDF).
I need to use PDF comments in our office database for analysis, hence I need to export comments in Text format such as .txt, .rtf, or even .docx.1 vote -
Enabeling/ Disabeling Links in PDF Files
It is Sometimes Very Hard to Comment on PDF Files from our supplieres because the faulty Part is hide behind a Giant Link that gets you to another SIde on this same PDF File. Which Seems like a Great Feature until you try to comment on those Things. It would make the Work for me and many of my Collegues much easyier if we could Symply Disable and Enable those Links Like a Toggle Switch.

Please give option to DISABLE AI Features
Please include some way to DISABLE all Generative AI features that sticks. Unclicking the checkbox doesn't help if everytime I restart my computer or receive an update it turns it back on. Generative AI is unhelpful and intrusive. Forcing people to use AI features has a massively negative impact on our environmental footprint. When it is used unnecessarily or without choice, we are using MILLIONS of gallons of water and electricity for no reason. I will be switching to a FREE service that already includes all Adobe Acrobat features if this is not resolved.

Multiple issues when editing and handling PDF files after latest update.
After the latest update, several problems occur when working in Adobe Acrobat Reader:
It is not possible to select text by clicking and dragging the cursor.
It is not possible to paste copied text into the document.
It is not possible to resize text boxes/fields.
Instead, the text wraps to a new line instead of allowing the text box to be expanded.
It is not possible to drag a tab out of the window to open it in a new window, which prevents working with multiple PDF files side by side. These issues significantly impact usability and make normal PDF…

I'm sick to death of seeing the ads every time I open the application.
for god's sake let me turn that **** off and just take me to my list of recently opened files. I hate this application, its cost and all its bells and whistles. I just need to edit pdfs, otherwise i would be using the free reader. I hate paying 24 bucks a month for just that and cloud storage. I hate the application.

Remove the "Create" button.
Takes up too much real estate on the UI. It's a terrible design. Always in the way when moving the window. Nobody likes it.

Save comments without "posting" them
Please configure DC so that comments are automatically saved the moment they are created! Why do I have to "post" it to my offline PDF file that no one else has access to? I had to write the same comment three times, which was very frustrating. I'm using the latest version of Acrobat on a Windows 11 computer.

What do you wish you had backed up before moving from Exchange on-prem to Microsoft 365?
One thing many IT teams wish they had backed up before moving from Exchange on-premises to Microsoft 365 is everything beyond just mailboxes. While emails are the obvious priority, overlooked components like public folders, shared mailboxes, archive mailboxes, and mailbox permissions often create post-migration headaches. Additionally, organizations frequently underestimate the importance of backing up calendar data, contact lists, and delegation settings, which are critical for daily operations.
Another commonly missed area is legacy data stored in PST files across user systems. Without consolidating and backing these up, valuable historical communication can be lost. System configurations, transport rules, and retention policies…1 vote -
[BUG] Word Add-in fails to retain dpi and page selection
Adobe Pro with Word Add-On Acrobat Menu Bar (Jan 2025, up to date versions)
I'm generating high dpi pdfs for publication (2400dpi, or more)
This is the bug, tested several times and is a consistent error.
Using a Word document with High Res pictures embedded as links in Picture Placeholders in a Table (though I don't think that's relevant to the bug.)
Select
Acrobat Bar > Preferences > Conversion Setting > "Custom 2400dpi"
thenAdvanced Settings > Pages From 10 to 10
then
Acrobat Bar > Create PDFResult: Acrobat ignores the page slection setting and prints the whole document…

Scope Not Working Fully on Multipage Tables
When setting a scope to a header row, it does not define data cells on a separate page even when inside the same table tag. The only fix right now is to manually assign the header cell to the data cells by column.
