1. "New" Adobe

   Your customers PAY FOR your products. When I downloaded and launched the app on my new laptop (LONGtime user on my prior laptop), you did not:

   Announce the "new" look
   Offer a tour of the "new" product BEFORE launching it
   Offer the option of "new" vs. "original"

   I had to resort to Chat with Customer Service to learn what happened and how to undo your GIANT step backwards. The fonts are microscopic, there are icons where words should be, and the layout is now a hide-and-seek experience.

   If the revert to Original Adobe was left out, I would have demanded a refund and found another product, despite being a decades-long user.

   Your developers should be over 30, with adult supervision and user testing before you launch future "improvements," that aren't.

3. I HATE the new Acrobat interface!

   I HATE the new Acrobat interface! The new tools toolbar is confusing and my old favorites ( "+" and "-") are missing. Missing also is the Hand icon. Are you guys crazy?

   When flattening transparencies in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (2019.008.20071) on single pages the pages are duplicated in the document after flattening.

5. Acrobat Pro DC rotation double-click bug

   When in the "Organize Pages" view, you can hover your cursor over a single page and a toolbar appears beside the page, giving you the option to Rotate Left, Rotate Right, Delete, or Insert. However, this toolbar does not intercept mouse clicks from passing through to the thumbnail of the page. So say your page needs to rotate 180 degrees, and you quickly click one of the rotate icons twice. If the thumbnail view of the page is behind the icon (for instance, an 8.5x11 page in landscape), then the thumbnail interprets the double-click as a command to open that page in full size, kicking you out of Organize Pages mode.

6. Cut and paste toolbar

   I think having cut and paste icons in a toolbar is necessary. I don't want to use keyboard shortcuts all the time because of the wear and tear to my keboard over time. Also, how does one have a bates numbering shortcut in the toolbar and not cut and paste? How is that more frequently used by more people than cut and paste? How many users do not need a cut and paste button?

7. Font Awesome

   I wanted to use Font Awesome icons in Forms, but is not possible. I choose the Font Awesome in text field properties, but doesn't show when I want to copy an icon from the cheatsheet - the same technique works with every other Adobe program. 8. Disable Floating Icon

   Is there a way to disable the floating icon?
   The recent release introduced this feature. I don't find it useful at all, it always in my ways while I was doing the editing. It would be nice to be able to disable this feature.

9. Usability

   My attempts to use Acrobat were the most frustrating experience of my 31 years on Macs. The program crashed constantly. Simple operations proved to be obtuse and non-intuitive and the layout of the tools, together with the process of interacting with the program, is very badly thought out. The tools page opens a page of cheesy icons resembling something from a children’s book, and why, for example, would anyone hide the ability to insert a rectangle under ‘comments’? Crazy.
   I spent almost a whole day (consulting Adobe help files and online sources) just trying to bring an image to the front. I had to give up in the end because absolutely nothing worked and why does a PDF program not accept imported PDF images? PNG and jpegs work OK.
   The play buttons for audio annotations, with their thick bounding boxes, are HORRIBLE. There appears to be no way of constraining the aspect ratio of dragged-out shapes and attempts to refine them after placement just distort the whole icon.
   Custom icons using posters only appear to work with WAV files but MP3 is the most common online format by far.

10. Acrobat UI

    At every major update, the Acrobat Pro UI is getting more and more confusing. None of the standard OS behaviors are respected. I tried to modify the toolbar on Mac (version 2023.0001), impossible to move an icon anywhere.

11. Hiding and disabling the prompt of signature hint and tool bar

12. Acrobat file type icon

    Please change the acrobat icon back... the new one looks weird.
    I have had some people asking about it and saying they can't find their pdfs or that some strange app has taken over their pdf file association.

    right click menu is full of useless icons. all i need is copy, paste, print, delete and rename. all of these except print are at the bottom of the list. WHY?

14. Open in separate windows

    I just had my computer repaired which required a migration of my old computer SSD to a new SSD. Before that, I used to be able to open up several PDF files at the same time in their own window, which is how I like to work as I frequently have to review multiple documents at the same time. I would like to know if that option still exists and if not I would like it back please.

    Also, the icons have changed on my desktop (why; that was your brand and was easy to depict from other doc files?).

    I used to be able to "fit a page to the full Adobe view screen" but that seems to be gone now too. And the Tool option seems not so helpful. I want the old version of Adobe back.

    Help please.

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
    For openign several PDF files at the same time in their own window you can
    1)open the preferences box by going to edit menu > click on preferences or by pressing ctrl+k
    2) In categories select ‘General’
    3) In basic tools uncheck ’Open documents as new tabs in the same window.

    For “fit a page to the full Adobe view screen” you can
    1) Right click and select ‘Document properties’
    2) Click on Initial view tab and select your preference in ‘Layout and Magnification’

    I hope this will help you.

    The user experience of using the Accessibility tags feature is unacceptably inefficient. Consider that the user might need to tag hundreds of documents, themselves hundreds of pages. Try this yourself, or observe someone else trying it. You should quickly see how unnecessarily slow and tedious the workflow is, using these tools. Dragging little tiny icons around in the sidebar panel is slow, difficult, and often inaccurate. There's no way to just click on something on the screen to indicate what it is and how it should be tagged. You can't draw an area around an image/caption. When the auto tag thinks it has identified a paragraph, often it's several paragraphs or parts of one, and there's no easy way to clean that up. It simply isn't usable for any real work in its current state.

16. Replace the word emit with omit.

    In advanced printer settings, when selecting a color to exclude from printing (tiny printer icons next to cyan, magenta, yellow, and black color blocks), please change the word emit with omit. Very different meanings.

18. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed displaying another app's icon

    I installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my new Windows 10 laptop. After installation I was looking for the familiar Adobe icon, and it was nowhere to be seen. The only icon that said "new" was the icon for One Photo Viewer. I hovered the pointer over it, and it identified the app as Adobe Reader! I clicked on it, sure enough it opened Adobe! What gives??? I restarted the computer, no change. How did Adobe install with another app's icon????

19. Page organization functionality has been lost in new update

    The new pages organization tool is more difficult and less intuitive, and its “insert page” option in particular is much less useful than it used to be, please fix it.
    The most important problem is with the "insert page" function alone. When you select "file" for "insert page" it no longer lets you add more than one file at once. I frequently use Acrobat to merge several PDFs into one PDF and now I have to add each file one by one, this is incredibly time consuming, tedious, and wholly unnecessary.
    Another problem I have with the new method is the size of the page organization tool—I can only organize pages in the left sidebar now, when before it let you see it in the main screen, which allowed for a larger view and to see the pages in grid order, instead of just in a tight row. This is frustrating as it makes it harder to visualize my document as a whole while I am trying to re-arrange it as a whole.
    Lastly is a more minor issue. The first problem I encountered with it was the icon. In general, the icons for the new user interface are mostly too small and many are unclear. Further, they don't tell you what they do if you hover over them, you have to actually click the symbol to be given any description/text options. The icons in the toolbar aren't all bad, but it is very hard to find how to add, delete, or move pages. Not only is that icon in a confusing place all on its own, the little four grid square symbol does not intuitively represent that function. In fact, it is confusingly the same symbol used for switching between list or grid view on the open recents menu. So, when I fist saw it, I naturally thought it was just an option to view the PDF in a side-by-side grid view instead of just a single-row scroll. Please make an icon that actually makes sense.

20. You just keep making it harder

    Everytime you make an update you make it harder for me to find my edit document button. I just opened one and absolutely none of the icons or right click provides me with edit. Finally I find if I highlight text THEN hit right click I get the menu that allows me to edit. Why take down the one in the header and make me have to do additional steps (highlighting) to be able to edit. I hate when companies adopt the Microsoft culture of calling "improvements" just moving essential commands and options around and saying it's new. At least you didn't do what else they do by renaming basic functions so you don't even know how to edit. ANNOYING!

    you can easily use the edit app from the Right hand Panel Menu, Tools center and even on Searching for “edit” in the Tools search in RHP when any doc is launched.
