Adobe Sign - include message in the email when sending for signing
Please include the message in the email when sending for signing. At the moment, to review the message itself, you have to Log into Adobe to view it. If the message can be included in the body of the initial email, it will be helpful and more time efficient. As it is, reminders sent out for Adobe sign includes the email message so why can't the first Adobe sign being sent out include this.

It is essential for the user to be able to disable the default view settings that were set by the creator of the document (often stupidly).
In 35+ years of using computer software, this is the dumbest default setting I have ever seen, and it creates serious usability issues for those wishing to use Acrobat for business purposes (i.e. not graphic design/web design/desktop publishing/etc)
Please IMMEDIATELY ASAP fix this so that the user can disable these default settings and thus view documents effectively instead of spending loads of time fixing display *****-ups caused by the content creator's clumsy use of …

Stop changing its behaviour by default
PLEASE! When you make a so-called "improvement" DON'T make it default to new behaviour. Include that new feature as an option, but don't force me, in the middle of my work day, to suddenly have to cope with unexpected behaviour and then spend all kinds of time researching how to REMOVE what you have just done to it. You just made it default to using tabs instead of new windows, and I am BEYOND frustrated! For those who want that...fine, but don't force me to use that so-called feature. It's not a feature for me. I have to have two…

Allow user to set default view for all links (not just bookmarks)
Acrobat has already added a feature to allow users to set a default zoom level for new bookmarks.
I would like a similar feature to added for links that a user creates that "go to a page view".
When I create an index page in a document, I often add links to the index that will take the user to the particular items. It is my preference (much like with bookmarks) to have these links set to "inherit zoom". Unfortunately, there is no way to set a default zoom level of "inherit zoom" for new links.
Doing this manually is…

Text call out tool properties not set as default
Text call out tool issue . After commenting on a document , the color of the call out box is changes to blue and this property made "default" through " make current property default " option. This change is valid as long as acrobat pro application remains open . When the application is restarted , the text call out box reverts back to the original properties i.e. white in color . This problem comes for the text call out tool only and other drawings markups retain their set properties even after restarting the application.

Give option to make 'Marque zoom' the default option instead of the 'Select Tool'
The default option in Adobe Acrobat is the 'Select Tool'. For production purposes I never use this tool, I would prefer to have the 'Marque Zoom' as default.
It should be possible to set this in the preferences.1 vote -

Please please please make Overprint Preview a default!
As the world continues to use PDFs for EVERYthing, it is so so important that people are aware of Overprint Preview. However, most people don't know it even exists in their page display preferenc. If you don't have this turned on things that are set to overprint will show as if they are not overprinting (mostly on the customer's end). Because the default of Acrobat is not to have Overprint Preview turned on, customers don't realize the problem. In the printing industry this is one of the biggest stumbling stones (boulders) we come across. That and fonts, of course.

Disable "Tools Pane" & "Task Pane" on right by default & give option to enable/disable
Please turn off the annoying 'Tools Pane' & 'Task Pane,' on the right-side of the screen by default. In addition, it would be very much appreciated, if the user was given ONE, easy step/setting to enable/disable them. While I can go up to View -> Show/Hide and uncheck the Tools Pane, it only hides part of the annoying panes on the right since it's little annoying sidekick the "Task Pane" remains open. I have to hit the little arrow to hide that as well, but even then it still doesn't collapse 100% so it still takes up a little…

Make it so that Acrobat doesn't make itself the default PDF program without asking
It's not respecting MacOS conventions or your users to change their default PDF program without asking. Having to contend with your licensing system makes it even more inappropriate for an essential utility.

Acrobat Pro Bug - Target Folder error message when Splitting by Bookmark
Acrobat Pro DC Bug (version 21.007 using Windows 10)
This is a new bug, so suggests it relates to a recent update.
When Splitting a PDF file via Top Level Bookmark.
You receive the following error message (see screenshot)."The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different file name or in a different folder".
Trying either of the above suggestions will not work and you continue to receive the same error message when attempting to split the file.
The only way to get around this, is to manually select…

Default Setting For Feature Option: Rely on System Fonts Only
According to Adobe Acrobat Customer Support*, when I customer presents to the support team with corrupt or unreadable PDFs created by the Adobe Print Spooler, they always recommend deselecting the 'Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts' feature option.
If they 'always' recommend that this option is deselected, then this option should be deselected by default.
Suggestion: change the Adobe Print Spooler > Rely on system fonts only feature option default from checked to unchecked.
*For example, case number: ADB-33043877-Y8V9
