  1. Please include the message in the email when sending for signing. At the moment, to review the message itself, you have to Log into Adobe to view it. If the message can be included in the body of the initial email, it will be helpful and more time efficient. As it is, reminders sent out for Adobe sign includes the email message so why can't the first Adobe sign being sent out include this.

  3. Using Acrobat Pro DC is the biggest headache in the world. You have made this 1,000 times more difficult than Adobe Acrobat Pro X. Adobe Acrobat's team seems incapable to thinking intuitively. I want to create a default font, point size and color setting for all pdf documents I edit in Adobe Acrobat DC, but one must do this for each document based on the website help. if someone replies with an apparent 1, 2, 3 step, that is NOT ADEQUATE. The issue: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC's Team does NOT CREATE AN INTUITIVE ONE STEP INTERFACE. One should NEVER TO…

  4. Hi,
I do a LOT of scanning via Acrobat Pro DC. I am often creating multiple documents, but each time I initiate a scan I have to select a folder to save the documents to (usually 5 or 6 clicks in an AWFULLY BADLY DESIGNED folder selection window.

I ask just ONE thing - can you please provide an option that allows me to specify a DEFAULT folder that will be selected when I wish to scan (and save multiple files).

This is the biggest pain in my *** right now - adds 7 clicks and 20 seconds every time.…

  6. Adobe Acrobat shows a message about an invalid page content even when this content is not broken.

It happens in the next case when there are 2 things:

    1. A content of a page contain 'gs' command that is used 'TK' key.

    2. The second case is very difficult to define.

Looks that it is related to the length of a stream of a page. But maybe there are exists additional conditions.

Adobe Acrobat throw the error windows when you open this document.

Note any others PDF viewers and checkers does not found any errors.

if you remove 'TK' key from 'G2'…

  7. According to Adobe Acrobat Customer Support*, when I customer presents to the support team with corrupt or unreadable PDFs created by the Adobe Print Spooler, they always recommend deselecting the 'Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts' feature option.

If they 'always' recommend that this option is deselected, then this option should be deselected by default.

Suggestion: change the Adobe Print Spooler > Rely on system fonts only feature option default from checked to unchecked.

    *For example, case number: ADB-33043877-Y8V9

  8. The default option in Adobe Acrobat is the 'Select Tool'. For production purposes I never use this tool, I would prefer to have the 'Marque Zoom' as default.
It should be possible to set this in the preferences.

  10. Acrobat Pro DC Bug (version 21.007 using Windows 10)

This is a new bug, so suggests it relates to a recent update.

When Splitting a PDF file via Top Level Bookmark.
You receive the following error message (see screenshot).

"The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different file name or in a different folder".

Trying either of the above suggestions will not work and you continue to receive the same error message when attempting to split the file.

The only way to get around this, is to manually select…

  11. When converting a .pdf into a fillable form ('Prepare Form') please create an option to set properties so that Acrobat will always apply my preferred properties as the default.

It is inefficient to always convert the font and other properties to the settings I prefer for the forms I design.

I am aware I can set defaults for fields once the form is prepared and then duplicate this in a given form. I am also aware that I can multiple-select fields and change the properties for a group. However, I'd like a more efficient default-setting option, please.

Need Info  ·  Bilal Ansari responded

    Hi,
Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Could you try the following and see if it resolves the issue:
    1. Right click on the left hand pane.
    2. Select Tags.
    3. Select the first item in the list labelled ‘Tags’.
    4. Press Delete.
    5. Now try and delete the pages.

Also, could you send the PDF for us to analyze?

  14. As the world continues to use PDFs for EVERYthing, it is so so important that people are aware of Overprint Preview. However, most people don't know it even exists in their page display preferenc. If you don't have this turned on things that are set to overprint will show as if they are not overprinting (mostly on the customer's end). Because the default of Acrobat is not to have Overprint Preview turned on, customers don't realize the problem. In the printing industry this is one of the biggest stumbling stones (boulders) we come across. That and fonts, of course.

  17. Please turn off the annoying 'Tools Pane' & 'Task Pane,' on the right-side of the screen by default. In addition, it would be very much appreciated, if the user was given ONE, easy step/setting to enable/disable them. While I can go up to View -> Show/Hide and uncheck the Tools Pane, it only hides part of the annoying panes on the right since it's little annoying sidekick the "Task Pane" remains open. I have to hit the little arrow to hide that as well, but even then it still doesn't collapse 100% so it still takes up a little…

  18. PLEASE! When you make a so-called "improvement" DON'T make it default to new behaviour. Include that new feature as an option, but don't force me, in the middle of my work day, to suddenly have to cope with unexpected behaviour and then spend all kinds of time researching how to REMOVE what you have just done to it. You just made it default to using tabs instead of new windows, and I am BEYOND frustrated! For those who want that...fine, but don't force me to use that so-called feature. It's not a feature for me. I have to have two…
