New Display is HORRIBLE
New layout for Adobe is horrible!
Why did Adobe change something that wasn't broken?
All of the icons/buttons used to be along the top ribbon of the screen and now there's some on the left, some on the right and some on the top. And now I can't even find some (for example insert text box and take a snapshot) that I use constantly.
I had everything customized as I use Adobe constantly in my job and now this is causing me a lot of unnecessary stress.
Adobe should offer their customers the option of reverting back to the…86 votes -
New toolbar overlapping ruller
New toolbar overlapping a ruler.
It should adjust screen position automatically to avoid covering other interface elements.
Give us option to move that floating toolbar too and also possibility to change default buttons position.3 votes -
save as... toolbar button
Add a "save as..." button to the user interface. For me and I think a lot of other people who like to save a downloaded and automagically opened pdf to their hard disk: just a simple Save As... button next to the Save button would be a great and very easy to implement feature. It's one click less as going to the menu each and every time for this basic function.

how to improve adobe acrobat dc
I have been using adobe acrobat pro 9 for over 10 years, and recently I have to switch over to acrobat DC, and find it bizarre.
1. First, the user interface has been completely redesign, not allowing one to switch back to the previous UI.
2. Also, I find the number of key strokes needed to do a simple task, has greatly increase. I do a lot of cut-and-paste with my old acrobat, and it was convenient. With the new DC, after finally figure out how to do it, it involves a lot more key strokes. A regression!

New Toolbar Suggestion
Former versions of Acrobat (I believe versions 10 and below), prior to Acrobat DC, had the capability of showing tools on two rows at the top of the document pane and suggest consideration for returning to that type of user interface.
The lack of colorization of icons in DC, the basic shapes and the inability to show nearly all tools in the toolbar makes it very difficult and time consuming to edit and markup documents. Detailed, colorized tool icons of old, combined with the ability of truly customizable, multiple toolbars would make Acrobat much more productive.
Is there any…

+ create
Request Adobe Acrobat Pro to provide users an option to not display the "+ Create" button/tab. Sometimes we as users just want a new tab to display and open files from our computer and not necessarily create/combine a PDF. I believe the create/combine PDF function is sparingly used and personally think it reduces productivity for users who have to hold the left click to "Open Files".
Please restore to previous interface with + opening list of files or poll users regarding preference.

New UI Constantly Freezes and Is Unusable
The new user interface constantly freezes for several seconds every few seconds on my machine. While it's frozen, nothing works. I just have to wait a few seconds for it to become unfrozen. Then a second or two later, it freezes again. Sometimes I'm able to go a few seconds without it freezing -- to get work done. However, it doesn't last long.
I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro v23.003.20284 on Windows 11 Pro v.10.0.22621 with a Dell XPS 17 9700. I have Display Fusion installed, so there could be some conflict there. I don't have this issue with any other…

"New" Adobe
Your customers PAY FOR your products. When I downloaded and launched the app on my new laptop (LONGtime user on my prior laptop), you did not:
Announce the "new" look
Offer a tour of the "new" product BEFORE launching it
Offer the option of "new" vs. "original"I had to resort to Chat with Customer Service to learn what happened and how to undo your GIANT step backwards. The fonts are microscopic, there are icons where words should be, and the layout is now a hide-and-seek experience.
If the revert to Original Adobe was left out, I would have demanded…

Stop messing with the GUI on your products
Please, for the love of all that's good and right in the world, stop dramatically changing the GUI of your products that are already functional as is and making us relearn where all the tools we use are because you decided to rearrange the furniture. It's not fun. It's certainly not an improvement. I have work to do, I don't have time to figure out, every time there's an "update" where you decided to hide everything I need to use to get through my day. Your latest Acrobat "improvements" meant that in the middle of an important, time-sensitive project, I…

Multiple Undo in Order and Content panels
2 years ago, Adobe programmed that the Tags panel would have Undo. That was very helpful.
But we also need to Undo in the Order and Contents panels, too.
When remediating PDFs to meet accessibility guidelines and laws, people work in the Order and Content panels, too, not just in the Tags panel. As in any workflow, we sometimes need to undo what we just did.
Right now, we must revert to the previously saved version which might go back too far and not be helpful at all.

annotations
In the "new acrobat" interface, it is now very tedious to add annotations. It is two more clicks than in the old Acrobat (multiply that with thousands of annotations and you see the problem).
Please add the following functionality (available in "old acrobat"):
- When you have selected some text, and start typing, it will add the "replace text" annotation.
- When you place the text marker in the text, and start typing, it will add the "insert text" annotation.
Also:
* When you select some text, you get a little contextual toolbar pop-up. Please add a button for the "replace…2 votes -

Have to click several places to get the annotation tool I need, old versions were better in that regard. I hate the new interface.

Retain settings during update
All of my personal settings in my user interface did not transfer during this update. I come to work this morning and have to re-learn how to find the tools that I use every day. Simple navigation is a major task. This completely wiped out my morning's productivity, which is EXTREMELY FRUSTERATING. Please please please dont do this to your users without our concent. Guide us where these features where moved to. ;lkhjg;lnrvwek;lvoiwegf

The new user interface isn't better than the existing one. I don't see a reason to combine the Select and Pan into one. Moving them to the side is counter intuitive. This is the desktop version where the large majority of programs have menu items across the top. Moving them to the side seems like a phone consideration.

Dropdown Find Window
The dropdown "Find" window used to search documents for keywords is always a problem — it slows down scrolling to an annoyingly low level. Please put the "Find" window in the bar of the program interface to alleviate the scrolling problem.

Sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with Find tool. Could you please tell me more about the workflow that you’re performing while using the Find tool?
Thanks

Open document without popups aligned to the edge of the document
The popups aligned to the edge of the document make interface difficult to use, is there a way to open without it? Have it turned off but get pdfs from others and it's very very hard to use, to see the comments without opening a huge window, then I have to try to see it and the window I'm editing at the same time. Please make a way to set these inside so I can see them. Thank you.

Get rid of the AI (artificial intelligence) pop-ups!!!
This whole feature is a distraction. We cannot be so busy that we must now have artificial intelligence helping us with our jobs. The pop-up is always in the way; I can't turn it off no matter what I've tried from the recommendations, including reverting back to the "old" Adobe; the prior version of Acrobat is so old and has been out of use so long, now I'm trying to retrain where to find the simplest tools. I was happily used to using the newer version, until this AI piece was added in. Please get this out of here;…

Unbelievable how Adobe can render their software more and more miserable over decades and finally totally ruin it. This Acrobat Kindergarten Thing is utterly unusable. Not that this wasn't to be expected:
Acrobat DC SO HORRIBLE it's making me want to cry:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-dc-so-horrible-it-s-making-me-want-to-cry/m-p/7112345The latest incarnation, in addition to the completely unusable user interface, is so unbearably slow that Adobe can just throw the whole mess in the trash and start completely over. This is the worst and lamest bloatware I have ever witnessed.

Is there a way to revert back to acrobat 11. This DC is clunky and slow.
I use ctrl = scroll wheel to scroll and space bar to pan. when i am finished i would like a shortcut...(like ctrl+shft=W) to leave the pdf at the whole page view. I need to be able to review large design plans, markup, and navigate quickly. I can't do this anymore. It use to be so clean and precise. Now its bloated and balooning like a cartoon, and does not seem to function well. If anyone has any secret tips to navigate large pdfs lightning quick while making edits, please let me know.
