I’ve got Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release Version 2015.006.30355.

..there is a link to a PDF file "Latvia's Forests During 20 Years of Independence" 2010, https://www.zm.gov.lv/public/ck/files/ZM/mezhi/buklets/MN_20_EN.pdf
The PDF file seems to be a nicely composed PDF with Adobe InDesign CS5.5 (7.5.2).
The font used, Museo Slab is a publicly available font, I bet it should not have any major issues.

    In the said file, page…

  3. This only happens on one of the pages within the pdf file. I open Edit pdf; click the Add text button; position my cursor anywhere on the first page of my pdf document; then when I type text I can see the cursor moving as if there is text being typed, but it is not visible. The color is set to black.

If I do the same process, but on the second page for example, the text is visible.

    Thanks.

  4. In Windows version 2023.006, searching a PDF for text doesn't highlight the selected text. The navigation arrows for moving between searched text instances have moved to the lower right side of the window, away from the search box. That's not intuitive at all, and requires moving the mouse or touching a different area away from the user's focus.

  5. The distribute tool buttons that are available when editing forms appear to be mislabeled compared to other programs like Illustrator and InDesign. The button that has the symbol to distribute horizontally distributed selected form elements vertically. The tool tip also seems to be mislabeled.

I'm using the Windows version of CC by the way. I've compared to the other programs that have align/distribute features and believe

I have forwarded your request to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization. We will contact you if we need some more information on this.
    Thank you for your patience

  6. Every time I clicked on Highlight Text and highlighted something in the PDF, the highlight text pen automatically changed to the cursor, so that I can only highlight for one time and then I have to click on the highlight text pen before I highlight another item. That is, I cannot highlight the PDF consecutively. This is SO BAD.

  7. When you have to highlight text and you want to change color you need to go to: Secondary button, Properties, Select the color that is by default and then choose a new color.

I suggest that when selecting the Highlight Text tool a side tab be enabled that allows us to change colors. Attached example of the suggestion

  9. Copy text in a PDF without line breaks at each visible line. Attachments are: 1) bad copy behavior in Acrobat, 2) proper copy behavior in Mac Preview.

  11. Highlighter has changed on me this week - it blocks text out as tho it is on top of the text. not behind. I cannot find a setting to fix this. Lowering the opacity only makes the colour more faded, and the text is washed out. This was not like this 1-2 weeks ago. please fix ASAP - I use this tool everyday.

  12. Text to speech for many people is a useful tool that helps with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. The text to speech tool in acrobat could be improved by allowing playing and pausing, reading selected text and easily switching between languages (or a detect language option).

  13. Hello,

I understand this to be a feature update. When uploading the document to the Adobe Sign web version, the prefilled fields are highlighted and do not show information.

What you have to do is click on the field in question, on the left side of the screen, and you will see an option for text to edit the field. That is the only way you can see what is typed in the field. Which is time-consuming on the web version.

I understand you can use Adode Acrobat and Adobe Sign in the same program…

  15. While in Adobe forms, I can set a field to Auto detect font size, and the font size reduces in the file. When I take that same file and send it to be signed, the document loses this functionality, and the Auto Detect no longer works - it automatically goes to scroll text, and you cannot see the full text. A support agent worked with me and this went to Tier II support, and they said my only option was to enlarge the box, or allow it to scroll. This bug truly needs to be fixed. A …

    • Open the attached "test53.pdf" in Adobe Acrobat.
    • The PDF contains 53 levels of nested Form XObjects (XObjects within XObjects).
    • Beyond a certain depth (52), the nested content does not render at all, even though the PDF is valid according to ISO 32000 (no recursion, only nesting).

    Expected behavior:
Content should render consistently, as the PDF spec allows arbitrary nesting of Form XObjects.

    Actual behavior:
Beyond 52 levels of nesting, the PDF viewer skips rendering the content.

Attached is also a "test52.pdf" file with 52 levels of nested Form XObjects that renders correctly.

Please share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with .

Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.

Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.

  18. Currently e-Sign Templates have the ability to assign a field to be pre-filled by sender, but this capability is wiped out when you use the template to create a Web form. The "Sender" should continue as an assignable user role in Web form, and the "sender pre-fill" function should be included in that capability, a carryover from how it works in e-Sign templates.

  19. I need one particular form to be filled out continuously: 165 people, some will fill it 10 times a year and some will fill it 200 times a year. However, some users may be uncomfortable with e-signing. Some may have to route the form to another colleague for information or verification before sending. Or, a different person other than the one filling will be signing. In these instances, it would be nice for there to be an option to print the blank form or fill and print and then sign a 'wet signature' and send back. Otherwise, I…
