1. Ability to disable "keep tool selected" when inserting form fields

   When inserting form fields, Acrobat classic had a pushpin icon in the toolbar called "keep tool selected." With that enabled, after choosing and inserting one form field, the tool stayed active so you could insert more fields. But you had the option to disable it and just insert one field at a time.

   In the new experience, it seems the tool staying active to insert multiple fields is the default. That is fine in itself, but there isn't a way to turn it off so you can insert fields individually.

   Bring back the functionality to choose whether to insert multiple fields by keeping the tool selected, or not to use that feature so you can insert fields one at a time.

2. Send by email missing 2025.001.20435

   As Acrobat keeps building an inscrutable interface to make all useful features disappear, it is now impossible to email direct from Acrobat.

   There used to be an email icon that could be clicked to connect to the default email application so that a PDF could be sent without going through all of the steps of closing Acrobat, opening the mail app, writing a mail, browsing for the file.

   With its continuously degraded interface, Acrobat becomes less user friendly and more obscure. Thanks guys. Maybe instead of AI you shoud talk to human beings about the UX and features. Or maybe you're using A1 instead of AI

   Obviously the Acrobat team does not read or pay attention to these posts.

3. Restore Fill & Sign to desktop version of Adobeep1gd@@r

   Fill & sign is not available on the downloaded version of Acrobat on my new computer, despite being on the latest version on my old one. I have tried adding it to the tool bar (using the pen nib icon), but it does not show when I save the toolbar.
   This means that the only option to sign documents through the desktop version is via a certificate which requires one to sign up to a paid subscription option, or by creating a digital certificate which is long-winded and time-consuming.
   Fill & Sign is available on the online version, but of course this means one cannot sign documents when offline.
   Could someone explain how to access this or for this be reinstalled on the downloadable version please, please?

4. Have a default setting for print the filename on document

   Right now if I want to have the filename printed on documents, for each of them I have to do the procedure described below. I would be nice to have a quick setting with check boxes to print the filename for all documents without having to do the below procedure for each of them. It is really ... bad. You need only the choices of (Top, Bottom) and (Left, Middle, Right) and this will do for most users and most cases I would say. Thanks.

   Procedure :

   Add a Sticky note
   Write a filename
   Go to Comments and then to the option icon
   Go to Comments preferences
   Mark "Print notes and pop-ups".

5. Make "Two-Sided Printing" visible in the main print dialog

   Please add "Two-Sided Printing" (duplex) back as a clearly visible option in the main print dialog, rather than requiring users to expand an unlabeled "Finishing" panel under Printer Options to find it. Currently, that section shows only an info icon (ⓘ) with no visual indication that clicking the text reveals actual print settings, most users won't know it's there. I frustratingly had to hunt for it today when it use to be clearly visible.

   Double-sided printing is a common, frequently-used setting. It should be a simple checkbox/toggle at the top level of the print dialog, not buried three menus deep in an ambiguous, unlabeled section.

6. ISSUES SINCE LATEST UPDATE

   I fill out forms all day long. It is 60% of my business. I chose to purchase Adobe because it saved me hours. Since the last update it has increased my time spent handling these forms. 1. The auto detect for box size is gone, it just puts everything in billboard size letters and I have to change every line. 2. I can begin to fill, but then it locks up and shuts down. This means I have to start begin again. It will do this continuously unless I do a total restart for my computer and then it may work for an hour an start all over again. I loved the previous version because I wasn't wasting time duplicating and over editing my forms. Please, I am begging you to fix this...please with sugar on top. I would like to sleep a few hours a day instead of working.

7. Bug: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for which I pay money does not work properly i.e. PDFs that DO HAVE at least two layers are never shown.

   Scanned PDFs that are made searchable and editable DO HAVE at least two layers, but my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC does not show the layers when I click on the layers icon. I really want to talk to a human being of the Adobe REAL support team and have this issue fixed - I tried the chatting - it is useless!!! Please give me the opportunity to talk to a real ADOBE support person!!! I pay a lot of money every month and this issue is going on since quite a while!!! I have attached an example of a file I personally scanned and made searchable with adobe tools - this should be two layers one image and one text right?

9. Inability to Delete Cached/Typo Email Addresses in E-Sign Auto-Complete (Desktop & Web)

   I am Acrobat Pro subscriber under business.

   When using the "Request E-signatures" feature, the recipient field automatically caches previously entered email addresses and suggests them in a dropdown list. If a user makes a typo (e.g., entering darlyneo@... instead of darylneo@...), or if a contact's email address changes, that incorrect/old email becomes permanently stuck in the auto-complete cache. There is currently no UI option or keyboard shortcut to delete these bad entries.

   This impact users as they would frequently select the typo from the dropdown without realizing it, meaning the intended recipient never actually receives the document.

   Please implement a simple management feature for this auto-complete list,

   Either add a small "X" or "Delete" icon next to each suggested email in the dropdown menu so users can manually remove outdated or incorrect addresses.

11. Bug with % symbols in named destinations

    When entering a named destination (for linking to within a PDF), it's impossible to enter a percentage sign ("%", U+0025). The symbol simply disappears from the name once entered.

    It's possible it's being misinterpreted as a formatting specifier in a printf call (or something similar).

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open a document and select "Edit PDF"
    2. Click the bullseye-icon in the left-most pane ("Destinations")
    3. Click "Create New Destination"
    4. Type "Bug%Test" and press Enter
    5. Note the result is "BugTest" instead of the expected "Bug%Test"

12. Cannot Combine documents

    I used Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Windows 7 64 bit desktop environment.

    I simply select the combine documents icon button, it has me choose either existing open document or add unopened documents. Either way it does not work. When I select open document, it has the one open document and then I need to add the 2nd document to combine, and I select it, those documents never populated the page and thus I cannot move to the next step of clicking on the "Combine" button. This has happened multiple times. I think of asking for a refund and buying a different .pdf product. I have to combine documents for Federal Courts, and if this feature does not work I cannot properly file documents with the Court. This bug must be fixed immediately, otherwise, I have not choice but to move to a different product.

13. Downgrade from Acrobat DC to adobe PDF pack

    I cancelled my monthly Acrobat DC subsription (too expensive and I didn't need many of the cloud features), and down graded to a yearly subscription of adobe PDF pack. Now, whenever I try to open previously created pdf documents I get hijacked with a popup to renew the DC subscription. For awhile I was able to close that and open a previously saved adobe doc by clicking on the adobe DC icon and choosing "default", which I am assuming allowed the pdf pack programs to open. Now I am not even getting that choice. The DC opens to a blank document and then a notice/pop up that my DC subsription has run out and I need to renew. STOP Hijacking my domuments. I have paid about 100$ for the yearly sub for "adobe PDF pack"! Open my documents and stop trying to get me to pay another 14.99 per month to access my documents!!!

    How to invoke crash: Open Acrobat. Select File -> Create -> PDF from scanner. Select "HP Office Pro 8740 TWAIN". Let it scan 2 pages from the document feeder. After the second page has been scanned I get messages "optimizing", "converting to searchable image exact", "optimizing" and then error dialogue "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working".

    How to avoid: Open Acrobat. Select Tools -> Create PDF -> Scanner. Select "HP Office Pro 8740 TWAIN". Let it scan 2 pages from the document feeder. Once I have scanned via the Tools menu path, I can scan successfully using the File menu path that failed initially as long as Acrobat is still open. I noted that the "Create" option under the File menu no longer showed the text "Create", just the icon. It did let me pick from he sub options.

    Created case 0189335790 (https://accounts.adobe.com/support/cases/0189335790). Rep was not able to repeat and closed case. Rep tried using "Tools -> Create PDF" first. I was not aware it was sensitive to the menu path at the time.

    Acrobat Pro DC 2017.12.20098, Windows 7 Home (64-bit), and an HP 7740 on Ethernet.

16. Annoying form/instruction bar at top of window is a 10-year-old problem

    Overlay bars that are not easily hidden and may contain conflicts with the actual content of the document have been objected to 10 years ago, and the "Signed and all signatures are valid.     Clicking the blue bar almost anywhere does nothing. There are 2 buttons at the right edge... only one of them seems to work. Clicking the small icon at the left edge hides the bar but does not reveal what feature caused it to exist. By accident, and over an hour after after trying and failing to find a preference to get rid of such an offending bar, I found the signing tools in a left-edge expansion menu even though most of the tools and extra features (tools pane) had been on the right-edge. Nothing in the main menu, such as show/hide, gives any hint that there are tools to find in the left menu or whether the tools there may change. All of these factors seem like failures in the User Interface category.

18. Need help deciding how to deploy Acrobat via Patch My PC and Intune

    • All users must have either Reader or Pro

    • About 150 users have a Pro license while 350 do not.

    • Patch My PC detects the following deployed to our devices:
      Adobe Reader DC Continuous MUI 350 installs

    Adobe Reader DC Continuous 250 installs (This is a Update Only MSP file)

    Adobe Acrobat DC Continuous 300 installs

    Adobe Acrobat Pro 250 installs X Trench Run

    I could set some form of Reader as Required on all devices, but I think that may downgrade existing Pro users.

    I could uninstall everything and set some form of Pro as required, then try to suppress the login popup box so unlicensed users don't get nagged to sign in.

    I could just leave the mess as it is and Update Only all of it, but because nothing is set as Required new devices won't have Adobe installed.

    What is the difference between Adobe Acrobat DC Continuous and Adobe Acrobat Pro? They both have the white Pro icon in Patch My PC but they are detected as different installs.

    How do you all use Patch My PC to deal with Adobe? What is the best way to set some form of it as Required for all devices?

19. Adding audio file to PDF with Adobe Pro DC (Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.1)

    Hello, I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a recent iMac running OS Catalina version 10.15.1. I'd like to embed a simple and short Audio file. I have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat PRO DC from the cloud. I tried recording a note, that did not work out all. Then I recorded an audio file in Garageband and saved it as an .aif file (I saved it as an .aif file because none of the other formats would load up) and this prerecorded .aif file uploaded from my hard disc into my cursor successfully (I can actually play the file in the little dialogue box with the controls play record stop and when I close this dialogue box and click OK I can see the sound icon has loaded into my cursor) but then frustratingly when I click down to paste the sound file onto the PDF it doesn't paste it. It keeps it loaded up into the cursor. I tried and tried and it is so frustrating as this should be such a simple thing to do! Do you know why this may be happening? is this a bug please? Can it be fixed? I so would like an answer to this! I am frustrated to be paying for the latest software and not be able to do such a simple operation in this day and age and having to come on a forum to find a possible solution.     Why is the Netgear router login not secure?
    The web access of a Netgear router is encrypted with HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) to keep the functions of the router secure. When you try to access the login page of the Netgear router, the browser prompts you to verify if the router is secure. The router's self-signed certificates encrypt the data transferred in the domain. When self-signed certificates are present, the router's web access is not secure.

    In Google Chrome:
    Open the Google Chrome browser on your computer and visit the login page of the Netgear router.
    If the security message appears, the connection is not secure or private. Now, select Advanced and then select Continue.
    Choose the unsecured Netgear website.
    Once the router's login page appears, enter the username and password. The default username of the router is "admin" and the password is "password".
    In the address bar, click the red alert icon next to "Not secure."
    On the next screen, select Certificate (invalid), click the Details tab, and choose Copy to file.

    How to find the router login for a Netgear router
    NetGear uses a few different login combinations for its routers. The full list is available here, but we'll give you the gist:

    If you are using a Comcastrouter, try username "comcast" and password: "1234"
    If that doesn't work, try using the combination of "administrator" and "password"
    Alternatively, you can use the password "1234"
    Some routers don't use a username and some don't use a password, so leave one of the boxes blank and try the combinations mentioned above.
