Bug - Form Field Properties dialog doesn't save Calculations when accessed from Tools Pane field list
When selecting a field from the Tools Pane, Rt-click, and selecting Properties, the Calculations tab does not work. You can enter a formula, but it will not save into the field properties.
However, if you double-click the field on the page to open the Properties, and enter the same formula in the Calculations tab, it will save it.
This is CERTAINLY a bug, as there is no reason the Properties dialog should not act the same way no matter how it was opened. And the correct action should be to save formulas that are entered into the Calculations tab.

Comment Tools / Custom Tools
I would like to be able to lock the Comment Tools and/or my personal Custom Tools to the top of the Toolbar so they automatically show up each time you open a .pdf file. I use the Comment Tools quite frequently and it would make it much easier if I don't have to add them each time I open a .pdf file. Also, it seems strange my personal Custom Tools show up on the right side of the file. I would think they would show up on the top Toolbar.

Prevent Comment Pane from Opening when selecting the Comment Tool
Please provide an option to prevent the Comment Pane from opening whenever you select the Comment Tool. I make comments all the time on PDF's and never required the pane to be open.

Remove buttons on (left) Navigation Pane
It is very easy to add buttons to left Navigation pane. However, you cannot remove individual buttons.
The only option is to Reset the pane returning the three original buttons (thumbnails, bookmarks, attachments).
It seems there should be a way to remove individual buttons at will (not just reset).
Thank you

To HIDE page thumbnails every time I open a pdf
Please set up a layout feature where I could choose if I want page thumbnails to be open every time I work with a pdf file. In fact, I prefer to hide page thumbnails pane when I open pdf documents. If want to use this pane, I can always click on the left arrow.

Comments Pane
I have tried multiple times to uncheck the "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened" box and clicking "OK". When I reopen my preferences, the box is checked again. I don't want that pane automatically opening. I have tried closing out of Adobe completely afterwards and even restarting my PC. What am I missing?

Need to be able to hide or resize the intrusive pane ("Create PDF"; "Combine Files"; etc.) on the RIGHT. It consumes valuable screen space.
Need to be able to hide or resize the intrusive pane ("Create PDF"; "Combine Files"; etc.) on the operator's RIGHT. It consumes valuable screen space. Make it available when needed and GONE when not.

Full Tools, Menu customisation
Acrobat DC wastes so much screen space in non-customisable areas - It is common to 'snap' the Acrobat Application to Half-Screen - but doing so hides many menu Tools, but ALWAYS leaves 'Home, Tools, Document & then The Login Name. - These are rarely (never) used.
Please allow them to be Hidden, Or return Menu/Tool icons to a 'normal' design/style as used in the previous 10 versions of Acrobat.
'PRO' does not = Tablet user.693 votesHi,
We are delighted to share with you that Acrobat and Reader Desktop release for DC Continuous (21.007.20091) is Live now and this Takes care of the Feature Request to Change the Display Size of the Acrobat without changing the Scaling/Resolution of the machine. This can be Done from “View” → “Display Size”. For now this is avaialble for windows only.
More Info Here : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html and go to “Change Acrobat Display Size”
Please update your Acrobat (It should Auto update or you should do Help → Check for updates) and let us know your Feedback.
Thanks

Tools
- You should be able to "pin" tool bars of your choosing and have them automatically be in your workspace when you open a pdf.
This use to work and now does not. It is extremely frustrating.
- There are way too many clicks involved to open up the navigation pane. I should not have to memorize shortcuts to do such a simple task.

Permanently Hide the Toolbars in latest Adobe Reader
This was an issue in past Adobe Reader programs where you had to go through option menus to permanently hide the side Tool bar (currently the one that pops up on the left), but there were workable solutions to fix this.
With the latest Adobe Reader update 20360 the tool bar has returned. I tried the old way to remove it by selecting in the preferences to "Remember Current State of Tools Pane". Unfortunately this is not working this time.
How can users permanently remove this?

Screen scaling breaks comments pane
Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1909
Adobe Acrobat Standard DC, version 2020.012.20041
Two screens with different scales: 125% (3840x2160) and 100% (1920x1080)When I have the comment pane open and move Acrobat between screens with different resolutions, the comment pane becomes is cut short. This behaviour appears to be strictly related to multi-screen environments where the screens have different scales. When I set both screens to the same scale (125%) the problem disappeared.
Workaround: after moving Acrobat from one screen to another, I select another tool on the task pane (like Export PDF) and then I select Comment on the task …

Do not "simplify" my experience by hiding the tools I use
I have adobe panes, quick tools, toolbar, etc. customized so that all the tools I use are in easy reach. I do NOT need to waste my time rebuilding my workspace just to make it functional again.

Zoom Tools
Where did the zoom tools go? They used to be visible in the main tool bar... I mean, I get there are other ways to zoom in and out of my pdf, but why remove such a common functionality? Please bring them back.
33 votesHi,
Thanks for Reaching out to us for your concerns.
We have not removed the zoom tools from the main toolbar and those are already there.I assume you might have undocked the Toolbar so you may be getting a black floating window over the document area which would be having the zoom tools.
I would request you to kindly Dock it back to the Main toolbar by clicking the rightmost icon from that floating window.
Also, if this is not the case i would request you to kindly do a right click on your main toolbar and select “Reset Toolbar” from the context menu. (This way your main toolbar will get back to the default state which would anyways be having the Zoom tools.
Let me know if this fixes your concern
Thanks
