In Acrobat Pro, recognizing text would result in a continuous flow of editable text, which I could continuously select and copy all at once
Take away the boxes around text so can copy entire portions of text.

Voice to text functionality needs to be much easier to use!
I'm dyslexic and use "voice to text" a lot to make life easier and increase my productivity.
I'm writing this feedback because I'm increasingly getting very frustrated with PDFs and more specifically Adobe. Every time I try to "voice to text" within a PDF I find myself searching for the function and then being even more disappointed in the results.PLEASE, PLEASE focus more on the usability of these functions and dare I say make them more accessible!

BUG: Acrobat DC randomly making text or images disappear when changing reading order
When reordering the reading order of items on the pages of an audit report, Acrobat randomly removed text on pages that I wasn't even looking at. I tested it out on another file and discovered the text disappears when you hit save. Up until then everything appears fine.
Acrobat was also making random layers of embedded pdf maps disappear when when trying to add alternative text, and there is no option to simply edit the SLUG text instead.

Add support for nested alternate text in lists
When tagging lists, I frequently encounter symbols or acronyms that need actual text. Removing them from the list would actually make the pdf less accessible. Why isn't this a feature?

Please permit erasure of text via edit
I need to be able to erase text and then replace it with other text. For example, I review hundreds of PDF documents each week, many of which I must sign and date. A number of these documents have last year's date. Adobe will not permit me to erase 2023 and replace it with 2024. (This is but one common example of text entries that I would like to be able to erase and, usually, replace.)

Link alternate description
Since the 6/6/23 update, has anyone else noticed that the new "Alternate Description for Links" field does not work? Text can be entered into the field but screen reader does not read. Tested with JAWS 2023, 2022, and NVDA (2023.1.0.27913).

AdobeSign <input> fields need aria-label attributes for ADA compliance
Forms generated using AdobeSign are not in compliance with ADA accessibility standards. Need an option when creating input fields to add an 'aria-label' attribute so that the fields can be easily identified by disabled / visually impaired users. Additionally, the radio buttons generated by the tool should be grouped with a <fieldset> or <legend> tag and utilize aria-label or aria-labelledby so that the buttons can be properly associated with each other and distinguished from other radio button groups.
Here is an example of an input field generated by an AdobeSign form:
<input type="text…

Make text boxes, callout boxes, drawing tools not sticky
All out comments are done with text boxes, text callout boxes, lines and arrows (as opposed to the sticky-note style comment). When we select any of those tools, they stay selected, i.e. when I draw a callout box and type, then click off of it, all I do is create yet another callout box. I have to click the arrow at the top of that pane to deselect it, then click AGAIN to manually move or resize my box. Previous Adobe version, did not "stick" when I selected a text box or callout box or an arrow or line from…

Allow addition of text without breaking each word into bounding boxes
I have many documents that I regularly access and add text to. In a previous version of Adobe Pro, when I would click in the area of text, the whole area would become editable and I could add text that lined up with what was previously added. Now, if you click "edit PDF," every single character is selected in its own bounding box and there is no way to do the previously described adding of text, other than to enable the "add text" feature, which is not the same as what I described above. Often times, I…

AdobeSign TextArea
Title: AdobeSign TextArea
I am writing to request the addition of a "Text Area" field option within AdobeSign. AdobeSign currently offers various field types such as text fields, checkboxes, and signature fields, among others. There are scenarios where a more flexible text input option is necessary and the only way to accomplish a multi-line field is by stacking text fields on top of each other.
The inclusion of a "Text Area" field would provide users with the ability to input larger bodies of text, such as comments, descriptions, or detailed explanations directly within…

Convert text to path
There needs to be a simple way to convert text to path. (The utility of this is begin able to use parts of the pdf file in illustrator without having the fonts.) Googling this shows there is demand for the feature. Currently the feature sort of exists in the "flatten transparency" settings, but it does not work correctly if there is no transparent feature in the pdf. The workaround is to add a watermark or other transparent object, THEN edit the flatten settings. Silly workaround for a common enough need. I'd call this a bug, since the flatten options clearly…

make it easier to add alt-text to all parts of a pdf
The process for adding alt text is rather onerous, especially for pdfs created from jpegs or other image files. It requires typing in all of the text and doesn't provide for an easy way to separate out sections of a pdf, as in a poster with a varied layout, such as a biographical poster with a photo, titles, subtitles, etc.

Selected text window no longer persists with Ctrl+C
In previous versions when selecting text, the menu that shows up would stay open and the text would stay selected if Ctrl+C was pressed.
In the most recent update, the menu now closes and the text is deselected. This kills workflow, please change it back to the original functionality.

Show autosized font in Adobe Sign agreement
As of February 2021, when typing text into a field with font size set to Auto, the text does not show to the signer as having autosized itself. It appears as the same size, but if there is more text than will fit in the space of the field, an ellipsis appears at the end and the text shows as cut off. It does appear autosized correctly when the final document is created (after all parties have signed). But users consistently report back a problem when they see that the text appears that it will be cut off in…

Delete shows up as an insert/text replacement
I use the backspace key in commenting to strike thru text. Sometimes when I do this, the strike-thru shows up as a blue line and it is connected to a previous insertion. I can get it to work if I click on the strikethru text icon on the toolbar, but I'd rather it work when I use the keyboard shortcut.
In the attached file, you can see where two sets of text are connected to the same insertion, making it hard to tell where I want text replaced.

Allow the Create Link button to appear when you right click text.
When creating a new text box, there is the option of highlighting the text, right clicking and choosing Create Link. However, this option disappears when highlighting text later on, even text that was created by the author. Please add this option to all highlighted text that is right clicked.

Highlighting Troubles -►Make the hit block smaller ►or the hitbox the same size as the highlighted text.
Highlighting Troubles -►Make the hit block smaller ►or the hitbox the same size as the highlighted text.
Issue - When highlighting text very close to adjacent highlighted text, the highlighted text becomes selected instead of Adobe allowing the curser to select unhighlighted text to be highlighted. Trying to select the unhighlighted text is very difficult. I have to zoom way into the text to highlight it, this takes up a lot of my time when checking through a thousand lines of a document.

Choose My Own Font Size
When I prepare a form (Mac), I want to be able to choose the font size for all the text fields instead of having it default to Auto. I also want to be able to batch change font size in multiple text fields instead of having to do it one by one. Thanks for listening!
