  1. Once I have uploaded the image of my signature in the Fill & Sign tool, it's not more possible to remove it. Clicking the "X" button doesn't work. I've closed and re-opened Adobe DC. I also tryed to reinstall it, but nothing.
After reinstallation if I uload again an image in the fill&sign tool, it's not possible to remove it.

  2. We need to be able to save WCAG compliant, semantic HTML files (e.g. from Firefox) as PDF/UA, but Adobe PDF does not offer this option. Saving as PDF/A does not produce a tagged (UA) file.

Adobe's pdf print gadget should use the browser accessibility tree, and tag the PDF accordingly.

PDF/UA has been an ISO standard since 2012. WCAG 2.1 was finalized in 2019, and WCAG 2.x compliance is now mandatory for public sector procurements in North America, the EU and various other jurisdictions.

What on earth is going on with your accessibility roadmap, Adobe? Apart from Acrobat on Windows,…

  3. I recreate a new post instead commenting last one, just to make sure it was taken as important it’s supposed to be, as a critical issue!
Hoping you could create another hot fix for this major problem.
We are now on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and Acrobat Pro version 2023.008.20458.

1: when we use Text tool and select a text to modify all the page became white and we cannot see anything.
2:There is also another problem when we scroll the pages, everything become white also.
3: We are no longer even able to check the preflight result, blank pages…

  4. I have been searching for the "Take Snapshot" tool which used to be on I believe the Edit menubar dropdown. Now, it's no longer there and I can't find it listed among the various icons. I use the search bar and it pops up.

Not three seconds later, I want to use it again.... it's completely gone. There's no indication what menu it is on or any method to locate it for the future.

What is so offensive about this new UX is not that you moved everything... that sucks, but it we would learn eventually the new layout. What…

  6. Please remove the new "Create" button in the tabs area. This is the most annoying thing I have ever seen. I keep accidentally clicking on it when I want to close a tab or move the window, and then Acrobat is inoperable for up to 1 minute and a stupid spinner rotates in the middle of the window, only to display a new button "Select files". This contradicts 100% the rest of the user interface of the tool.
If you don't remove this, then please make the button optional so that it can be hidden effortlessly. I will never use…

  7. There are at least two ways of setting a highlight comment's color; one from the menu bar and the other from the highlight comment's property dialog. The problem is that they provide two different color palates. This then manifests in the comment filter showing many different colors to filter by when the intent was to use a small number to categorise the comments.

  8. I pay premium money for the entire set of CC tools. This product by far is the worst F-ing product, EVER. When it isn't "not responding" or completely locking up, it takes like 3 min just to become responsive. Now with your new update, it loads a doc for 3 seconds and then crashes. So here is a thought. Fire the team that is working on it now, and go get the team you had in the 1990s when this **** actually worked. Furthermore you should give me money back for all the lost time I have spent trouble…

  9. It should be possible to copy the text easily from a highlight. Right now, this is almost impossible. (One had to switch to the Edit tool). Why not create a Copy Highlight item in the context menu. Or, when one clicks on and selects a highlight, why not simply let CMD-C do the job?

  10. I have recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. For my work, I need to mark-up PDFs using Comment tools. When I style some text as superscript using either the feature available in the box that appears when I right click or the shortcut ctrl/shift/+ and then close the pop-up box the styling becomes subscript instead of superscript. I used Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 for a long time and didn't have any problems. It is very frustrating that this doesn't work properly in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, especially as 'superscript' is offered as a feature in Comments

  11. When user scroll up and down pages, thumb nail page in the left hand pane is not that much recognizable. I think system will be better showing thick solid line surrounded around the thumbnail page even user scroll the page without magnifying it. Hope this will make sense to you guys. It is simply dotted line surrounded, which is not recognizable.

  12. When the comment pane is sorted by date, the date group heading shows one day earlier than the actual date of the comments.
A comment dated "Jun 26" will show under a group heading of "6/25/2020"
A comment dated today (showing a time only, no date) will be grouped under a date heading "9/25/2021" (when the date is actually 9/26/2021).
    Steps:
Create a comment (sticky note or add note to replace text)
    Sort comments by date
Expected: today's comment 5:16 pm grouped under "9/26/2021"
Actual: today's comment 5:16 pm grouped under "9/25/2021"

  13. I do a lot of re-ordering and re-arranging of PDF documents. In the "Old Acrobat" interface, the green "Organize Pages" button was in a narrow column of easily-accessible buttons on the right side of the screen. I could snap into the Organize Pages view, rearrange my pages, and snap back into editing. In the "New Acrobat" interface, the only way to access this feature is clicking the "All tools" button, which eats up a good chunk of screen space, and click "Organize Pages."

Either give us an icon-only view of the "All tools" bar, as the old Acrobat…

  14. A recent update made the circles in the corners of lines drawn with the pencil tool or small stamps applied absolutely HUGE, obscuring the line/stamp itself as well as the text below it.

This makes it near impossible to properly position a line/stamp and also to see what the heck it is when you select it in the comments pane.

I work in publishing, and we need to be able to precisely place proofreading marks and be able to read them so we can see what to do with the source text file.

  15. I've added new "Custom command" -> Inspect document -> Text to Curves

I've added that Custom Command to Quick tools toolbar.
The idea was that i have one click text to curves button.
After clicking indeed the text changes to curves, BUT when you click save icon, it goes disabled (as if you'd think you saved the file). Yet if you reopen the file the text is text not curves.

It only works if you go Save AS and then choose your file once again but it defeats the purpose of having custom command. It's then easier to just add…

  16. I was able to figure out how to get back to the more natual and organic user interface by going Menu and then selecting "Disable New Acrobat" for anyone having issues with the bad UI.
Acrobat please ensure that users will have the ability to customize their ribbons to look like the image I have attached.
I need to be able to remove the floating tool bar like I have done in the attached image I like a clean document field without floating tool bars that I don't need there. Also please keep the menu ribbon on the top and…

  17. This latest update of Adobe Acrobat is horrible. The new layout is disorienting, not at all intuitive and I can't find anything anymore. The tool bars and other side sections now take up so much space that I have no space in which to read. The floating tool thingy on the left side obscures text that I want to see. Who was this designed for and how do I revert back to the previous version of the program?

  18. Creating a feature request on behalf of a pre-release user--

Problem Description: I have often the problem that there are fonts in a large pdf files embedded which are not right also created if combining many single pdf files.

Feature Request: A tool to search for fonts, especial for embedded/substituted unknown fonts used in the document
and a possibility to replace or change it to the right font in one step . At the moment changing fonts is only possible by manually searching an replacing.

  19. The new version of Adobe sucks, it is totally user un friendly and requires a lot more work and navigating to do what was much simpler. Why change something that was working fine. Do you even test drive the new version to see how it is prior to sending out to the public. And the program keeps freezing when adding pics and the "restore " version doesn't work at all when you have to close the program and reopen continuously. Why pay for this piece of garbage software. Can I charge you for all of my lost time trying to…
