  1. Hi, guys.
We knows some tools like https://www.runcomfy.com can generate image/video in using AI art workflow. Can Acrobat do this for us?

  2. When creating a PDF from InDesign with properly applied, long alt text (including text attached to paths), the issue appears after opening the file in Acrobat with the new version enabled and using a screen reader or the Read Aloud feature. The expected result is that the alt text is read fully, in the correct order, and without omissions, exactly as defined in InDesign. However, the observed result is that Acrobat cuts off the text after the first part, skips information, or reads it incorrectly. This problem does not occur in the classic version of Acrobat, where the alt text…

  3. When editing a page containing a bitmap in Acrobat Professional using the "Edit in Photoshop" button, changes are lost if the file isn't saved in some period of time (maybe 20 minutes). After this time, saving changes in Photoshop and closing the page causes all edits to be lost. Before the time, any edits in Photoshop are reflected back in the page in Acrobat.

This bug is particularly painful after spending 30 minutes cleaning up a scanned music image and having all the work lost. I've taken to doing a Select All and Copy just before closing each edited page.…

  4. using the document cloud to convert the word doc to PDF, the page layout was messed up, there were blank pages in the pdf. Tables did not fit. It was not an exact copy of the word doc. However using the save as function on word gave the exact copy but of course without the hyperlinks

  5. After adding an image watermark, Acrobat visually adds it the file. But the save button is not enabled until I exit editing. So if I close the file in edit mode I don't get the save changed file dialog. In addition, adding watermark to multiple pdf files doesn't work when the files are not opened.

Process with 'Accessibility tools, Autotag Document'

    Environment (OS, version)
    Windows 10, Acrobat Pro DC
    2015 Release (Classic) Version 2015.006.30392

Note that files were OK with Windows 10, Acrobat Pro XI (currently on the same workstation)
Note that files had previously been OK with Windows 7, Acrobat Pro DC (prior workstation, no longer available)

    Expected Result

  7. Ever since the recent update with speeding up the auto-detect for forms, it is not detecting most of the fields in a very simple, basic, table and I increased the boarders to 2.5 (very dark) and it is still not detecting the entire first page of fields.

  8. The existing OCR function can create really strange interpretations on letters that otherwise look pretty clear to the human eye. Would propose that the OCR use AI language functionality support to encourage higher accuracy in translating the images to text.

  9. Seeing the documents that are being worked and completed is great, but often I need to see the complete list of what I have so I can report on my status of documents is impossible. Please provide a way to download a list of documents by type or status either to an excel, pdf, word document so I can use it to generate a report.

  10. Reproduce by:
Selecting one of the following from 'technology' dropdown:
    -Condensing Boiler
    -Condensing Make-up Air
    -Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation
    - Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) 11
    - Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) Multi-Unit Residential In-Suite
    - Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV)

Environment: any mac, Acrobat Pro DC 2018.009...., Acrobat Reader DC 2018.011..., likely others.

    Expected result:
dropdown populates with items from document level function, dropdown visbility toggles on. User can scroll through items to select one.

(previously tried with individual dropdowns with pre-loaded items toggling visibility, rather than one dropdown, dynamically populated -- result is the same).

    observed result:

  11. Next, who was the genius that came up with the idea to, when text is placed on an image, the app automatically breaks up that block of text into multiple blocks of text, thus making any editing or relocation a real pain **********. I can't believe this ridiculous bit of code survived the upgrade to this new version. Please explain to your customers just how this feature is supposed to be helpful because i can think of no way that text placement and editing is better affected by this feature. This feature is nothing but a tremendous aggravation and…

  12. When using a shared mobile device, we need to limit the visibility of previously accessed files by other users. This could be accomplished by removing access to the "On this device" option within Acrobat mobile.

Secondly if we could remove the system from requesting permission to the "All file access" so that permission couldn't be granted by the user afterward.

To summarize, here are the following requests for configuration options:

    1. Remove the "allow access to your files to view, modify, and save PDFs" See attached image 1Featurerequest

    2. The ability to hide "On this Device" as a file location selection. See…

  13. Currently, typing ~ is assigned in Acrobat to BOTH "insert text at cursor" AND "output preview." It is completely unpredictable which action will result when I type ~.

I need to be able to bring up the "insert text a cursor" function without having to mouse all over the place.

    Please fix this bug.

The attached file shows correctly in other viewers and prints correctly from Acrobat. Also exports to image correctly. In Acrobat the transparency is gone.

  15. I ran into an issue where shortly after opening Adobe Acrobat the program would close with no indication of what was causing it to close. When trying to run Acrobat as Administrator I was shown a "adobelicensingwf_acro.exe" error (See Attached image).

After trying to open the program a few more times I noticed that Acrobat would close about the same time as the profile picture would change from the default account to my account picture (See Attached image). It seemed to be closing the program after a handshake with the adobe web service. That reminded me…

  16. Acrobat Pro has stopped processing BPDX files again. This has been working for me for more than a year, and suddenly stopped working after 18 October 2022 (approximately Acrobat version 2022.003.20263).

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create an Acrobat catalog index file; e.g. C:\Flare Destinations\MasterTerminal-PDFs\JMTIndex.pdx.
    2. Create a a BPDX file named C:\Flare Tools\PDFIndex.bpdx with the contents "C:\Flare Destinations\MasterTerminal-PDFs\JMTIndex.pdx /build"
    3. Run Acrobat from the Command Prompt with:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe" "C:\Flare Tools\PDFIndex.bpdx"

    Environment:
Windows 10 Pro 21H2 OS Build 19044.2130 and Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2022.003.20263

    Expected Result:
Acrobat Pro will open and build the PDF search…

  17. Bug: Create/Combine/Add files/Save As windows is blank, won't save. A blank popup window appears. If I click past it, I can enter a filename, and the popup goes away, but no file is created. I tried uninstalling (even though my updates were current) and reinstalling, but I get the same result.

  19. My attempts to use Acrobat were the most frustrating experience of my 31 years on Macs. The program crashed constantly. Simple operations proved to be obtuse and non-intuitive and the layout of the tools, together with the process of interacting with the program, is very badly thought out. The tools page opens a page of cheesy icons resembling something from a children’s book, and why, for example, would anyone hide the ability to insert a rectangle under ‘comments’? Crazy.
I spent almost a whole day (consulting Adobe help files and online sources) just trying to bring an image to the…

Now, if you try to do it, unless you're zoomed in, it will automatically change to text edit. This needs to stay in prepare form mode...
