  1. I feel like the Adobe Acrobat Accessibility Tools are haunted. I reinstalled it this morning, but the earlier version kept giving me Encoding issues (which meant it read it letter by letter). The reinstall fixed that problem but now I cannot fix tables. I need to retag tables, but I don't want to retag the entire document. It also auto-tags it incorrectly, picking up the Table title and sections as paragraphs.

    I deleted the incorrect item structures and tried to retag the table as a table using the Reading Order window. Nothing happens when I try to tag the table…

  2. In Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    On "Add an Account". I can add a PDF file through public clouds (i.e., Dropbox, Google Drive, Sharepoint, etc).

    What about private clouds (Synology, QNAP, etc). Many small businesses use these as essential tools to share files and access their documents.

    Would kindly request that private NAS units -- or a user or businesses private cloud such as a Synology or QNAP cloud, be added the program. So users can get their PDF files from this private cloud.

  4. Redact tool is removing all lowercase letters 'i' and 'L' from my document (and possibly some 't'), as well as adding the black boxes to redact text.

  5. I use the Find/Replace feature far more than the other tools that Adobe is promoting. And yet this is the only tool that I can't move to a sidebar! It overlays the text and blocks view of the material you're searching. At least before I could drop it into the header bar.

  7. Quicktools – Allow FULL customization.
    The top 6 tools are not default. They are mandatory. I cannot remove them from my quicktools bar. This is extremely frustrating. Of those six, I've only ever used two (select text & highlight).
    Please allow full customization of the "quick toolbar" !

  8. There has been instability in the structure of the Adobe Acrobat window for some time. That appears to be fixed, but now the program will not recognize where my mouse is on any secondary tools that appear when click on a document.

    Hi,

    I clearly see your concern here. seems like the hand tool works like this only when the mouse cursor changes to selection cursor first and when a selection( a blue box in your case) is already present and you try to drag when the hand cursor is visible.

    Just click on somewhere else in the pdf so that the blue box goes away and they try and then this works fine.

    Also we havent heard of this issue from more users so i am closing this issue for now.

  10. When trying to customize the Quick Tools toolbar, the dialog box opened on a different monitor than the application. I didn't realize that and force quit the application because it looked like it froze. Only after reopening did I realize what was happening.
    It would be nice if it consistently opened in the same monitor the application is open in. I tried this with the display maximized and not maximized and it didn't make a difference.

  13. I digitally sign a lot of invoices. I'm not filling in a field, just creating a box that fills with my digital signature. It used to take me a couple of clicks in the old version. Now I have to do Tools, certificates, select the signature, click on a box and a button... And then the next time I open a PDF I have to go through the whole thing again, because the tool bar config is not saved. This is a huge waste of time and I'm VERY dissatisfied with this release.

Accessibility remediation of PDFs is chewing up an inordinate amount of labor, and at present, the steps required to yield accessible PDFs from InDesign are at a ridiculously unrefined, fussy, deep-in-the-weeds stage. This seems like an ideal application for AI. PLEASE create an AI tool that can handle all of the picky details of PDF remediation. I'd love to be presented with a simple set of questions to define things like reading order (in Acrobat and InDesign), then just have the AI handle giving me a PDF that passes muster and works well with assistive tech.   16. I'm new to having permissions allowing editing with Acrobat. The "Get Started" menu doesn't fully operate. "Introduction to Acrobat" will not run at all. "Interactive tour stalls out after requesting I enter 'highlight' in the Tools search bar.

  17. Text Call Out from Comment Section incorrectly moves with arrow keys. While selected this tool moves down/left by all keys only. All other comment tools allow you to move items around / position by selecting the item and using the arrow keys while this one programmed different. Only solution is use the pick tool to grab and move with mouse.

  20. Now we have to change the tools to 'Prepare a form', when copying a fillable fields from an older form to the new form. This has meant turning off the auto function for the fillable fields!
    Turning off the auto fillable fields function was OK. But now I have do an extra step to copy to a blank fillable PDF.
    Would prefer to be able to copy and paste, and then progress with making rest of the PDF fillable.
