  1. Using Acrobat PRO DC 19.008.20074
    When I open Adobe, Combine files, add the files I want to combine, either PDF or other word, excel, etc, click on Combine. What I end up with is a "PORTFOLIO". The thumbnails are all visible on the navigation pane but the actual PDF that was supposed to contain all the pages I just combined, there is only the first page, no other pages. I create Board packets with this feature. It has become a big headache. How do I get this to work.

  2. It would be hugely beneficial to have seamless integration of the Snipping Tool and Adobe DC with one-click creation of a PDF from a screen shot or screen selection. For the purpose of this request I am using a Windows laptop with the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud. I can already create PDFs with one-click from most other Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook, but having Adobe be able to handle screen shots and even combine/edit them without going through file/save/rename/export/save will be a great enhancement to Adobe DC which is already a great product.

  3. In older versions of Acrobat, when you right click a page in page pane, it would have move which allowed you to type a number and page will move to take that position. This is important when you have more than 20 pages on a full screen. To move page 78 to page 4, just right click page 78, select move and type page number 4, Page 78 moves to page number 4. Dragging over left side up or down at times become sticky and have to do it in two or three parts.

  4. I wish I could have a simple usage report.
    In order not to damage privacy there could be a tool that indicates the last use with large variables:
    less than a month ago;
    more than a month ago;
    more than three months ago;
    more than 6 months ago; etc. as happens with the console of the non-competing software Autocad.

    We are currently managing a license pool of over 800 seats across six Adobe products: Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Standard DC, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud.   7. Thank you for your reply to my previous post to this topic a few hours ago:

    Can you please be more specific about which menu are you facing the issue with?"

    Maybe its better not to remove the post before letting me answer.

    The issue covers all drop-down-menus (top menu bar) and Sub-menus and also sidebars just as 'Page editing' including tools.

    By now now we have around 120 licences and almost every user has reported problems navigating through the program due to low contrast between text and Background.

    Thanks for bringing this issue to our notice. Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future.

  8. Before you decided we'd be better off with "Take a snapshot" nested behind 2 layers of menus, it was simply Alt, E, A to use the Edit > Take a snapshot tool. I've seen enough of the ignored forum posts asking for it to be added as a hotkey item that we could put where we want, but I'm not even asking for that... I just don't want to have to navigate through yet another nested menu to use a tool that should be so much more accessible to begin with.

  9. Acrobat DC is an absolute PITA to use. It has no UX continuity with the rest of the CC suite, the tools are allocated to the vaguest of places and the basic functionality that is regularly used, Marquee Zoom Tool especially, are relegated to the top menu when they should be in the header with the page controls. These are tools that are regularly used, unlike the '-' and '+' buttons and search tool that are in clear view.

    It's a pointless, redundant redesign that causes more problems and waste of time than it actually serves. Bring back the layout…

  10. With the selection tool selected and the comments pane open, you should be able to click and type anywhere in your PDF, and the relevant text edit tool will be applied (strikethrough, replace, insert). This is a great timesaver. On my Mac, though, this works until I press one of the 'problem' keys – such as e, y, i, d, h, j – at which point no mark-up appears and my keyboard is disabled (including the arrow keys) until I close Acrobat and reopen it.
    Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this bug? It doesn't…

  11. I come back to my work computer (that no one uses or administrates) to find Acrobat has lost my Quick Tools customisations. How hard is it to make an app that just remembers it's ******* settings between sessions??

  12. Like so many before, I want to have control over my own computer. If I ever had any reason to want a desktop shortcut for Adobe, I could create one. Or I could request one on install. I have NEVER wanted one. So one should not appear on my desktop every few days, no matter how many times I delete it or hide it.

  13. Newest Acrobat iteration sucks. Accessibility option is more difficult to find, Cannot "pin" as a common tool, requiring multiple clicks. Other features like page zoom, page numbers, highlighting, etc not obvious.

  14. Either allow print settings to be included in the Quick Tools at the top, or move "Print Current View" as a choice under Pages to Print without having to go to More Options first. I spend a lot of time printing details from PDFs and it takes three extra steps, each time. Also, Print Current View doesn't quite match with the display on the print settings.

  15. I often use the draw polygon tool so the text is precisely identifed. To draw the polygon, as you know, I have to draw a line, stop, draw the next line, stop, draw the 3rd line, stop, etc. If I want to highlight that same text, I can simply start at one spot and drag my mouse over all the text, which is very convenient. Why cannot the draw polygon tool have a similar function? I would select "draw polygon", put my cursor at starting place, drag to ending place, and the polygon would be drawn.

  16. Removing the checkmarks is a problem across the board, but I am specifically irritated that it is not an option at all if you share for review in the cloud. My only option for keeping track of edits I have done is to "resolve" each comment. Also, if I filter by unresolved comments, it does not automatically filter live as I am working. So as I resolve a comment, it stays in the comment pane until I go back up, remove my filter, and then add the filter again.

  17. I would like to report a significant issue that has arisen with the latest update, particularly affecting the display and functionality of PDF Portfolios. Formerly, these portfolios showcased thumbnails that provided a visual preview of the contents, enhancing navigation and user experience. However, these thumbnails are now missing, replaced by a mere list format that significantly diminishes the portfolio's usability and aesthetic appeal.

  18. Should be allowed to customize the Main Toolbar you can put whatever you have - but some are not useful at all, the older one you could add whatever you wanted this new one is rubbish. Also the icons need to be smaller too so you add more too. Next problem I found the highlighter tool you add it to your customization tool it does not work but if you add to the main it works (where is no good not enough space) or you can only use in the COMMENTS tools Adobe sort it out - what are we…

  19. The majority of time I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I want my text box properties to be Arial, Blue, Bold and in Italics. Every time I select the Add Text tool I have to re-select these properties, it is very redundant and diminishes my productivity. From what I understand Adobe Acrobat used to allow a default to be set to accomplish this that is no longer available. Please bring it back.
