  1. Everytime I open an Adobe Product, this error appears "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application."

My trial is over and I have bought the product. I have the activation key but can't type it in anywhere. I also can't sign out because the option has gone.

  2. Create shortcut on Home page to "Create PDF from Scan". A lot of users primarily use Acrobat to create pdfs from paper. It shouldn't take 4 mouse clicks to get this done. Also, there is now no way to use keyboard shortcuts to effect a scan. Alt-F-R-S is as far as one can go because the new blue Scan button does not have a keyboard shortcut.

  3. For starters when you state "See the PDF Reference for details." in a reference document there should actually be a "PDF reference". Secondly when giving an example make the example about what you are talking about. Organized your reference material clearly not haphazardly like now. You reference material use to be good and easy to use but that in no longer the case.

  5. Rotten PDF saving. Why is it I constantly get Adobe saying I have to save the document using another name as this document is already open when I have closed the document and Adobe, see attachment.

    Yours frustrated

You may be getting this error because the same pdf file is currently open in some other program e.g. it may be open in browser or some email Clint

Requesting you to close other application and again try this scenario.
Please get back to us if you again face the same issues.

  7. Adobe Livecycle ES 4 crashes repeatingly after opening the preview screen. It's irritating. I see a lot of ad hoc repair items in this blog by the Adobe Support team (outsourced). There are a lot of issues in this case. When will Adobe really do something about it.

Please let's have a call. In the early days Adobe issues will be solved. Since it's outsources the issues are increasing huge in my opinion.

  8. I have spent the past few months troubleshooting with HP Technicians and have determined that there is a bug when trying to print double-sided documents in Acrobat Pro (DC) using a HP OfficeJet 8710 printer on a Mac. The documents print reverse meaning that for a 3-page document, pages 2 and 3 print double-sided on one sheet of paper while page 1, prints separately. This does not occur with any other HP printers

Need Info  ·  Ritesh (Adobe) responded

    Hi,

Please provide the following information to reproduce the issue at our end:
    1. Your OS version
    2. Installed Acrobat/Reader version
    3. Printer drivers and model
    4. Sample PDF document on which you have observed this issue.

    Thanks
    Ritesh

  9. Both, Acrobat DC and Reader DC ignore the "General preferences > Use Single Key Accelerators To Access Tools" settings.

Although I checked this option, whenever I open a PDF document, acceleration keys (e.g. "H" or "D" for changing the selection mode) don't work.

Deselecting and selecting this option in General Preferences temporarily enables this feature, but both programs "forget" this setting the next time one of them is getting launched.

    HI David,
We tried on our side on the latest build. It is fixed on our side. Please update on the latest build.
Although the issue faced by you may be because you have not turned off Protected View, Please turn it off and you won’t be facing the issue anymore.

    Thanks
    Rachir

  11. Acrobat Pro XI allowed signing fillable forms. Now when i try to sign one after others have signed in their blocks, it won't let me.

Please fix this. It is a major hamper to my work.

  12. I open a pdf and go to tools > prepare form> open then select a form.

As soon as I click on 'add a field' or an existing field, a stopwatch icon appears and Adobe closes. So I can't edit a form which makes a fillable pdf form impossible. Given the fee I pay every month I am NOT happy.

Yes I have the most current version, Yes I tried the 'repair Adobe' option.

  13. It should be possible to copy the text easily from a highlight. Right now, this is almost impossible. (One had to switch to the Edit tool). Why not create a Copy Highlight item in the context menu. Or, when one clicks on and selects a highlight, why not simply let CMD-C do the job?

  15. Adobe Acorbat Pro DC is so slow it is almost unusable. I am ready to find an other .pdf creator. I have tried every fix found in the forums and nothing has substantially helped.

  16. After years of using Creative Suite with no problems whatsoever I recently installed Creative Cloud on my Mac High Sierra 10.13.5. From day one I have endured constant crashes with Indesign and I can forget trying to use Acrobat as it just crashes constantly. I deeply resent paying for this package when it is unusable. Very unhappy!

  17. When no document is open in Acrobat DC, a recent files list is shown. While the list of files can be disabled, the window itself cannot. As someone who works in Prepress who opens hundreds of PDFs per day, each time I am finished with a file I must also minimise Acrobat DC to return to my working files. As it stands, Acrobat DC is taking up my full screen and providing no useful function, so in my view should include an option to disable this window.

  19. We need a way to manage user assignments, audit administrative actions, and report on when particular users are assigned Adobe licenses. There currently is no report that can be run to show who assigned a license, or when a license was assigned, outside of reviewing individual users.
