You can make use of "Enable Rich Text Field " in Properties panel to make use of formatting options in "Right Click >Sub Menus.

Closing this for now until we have further info on the request. Can revisit later

  2. In Forms having a signature that requires a save every time is too much when their is multiple signatures especially when the form does not change between signing. the fill and sign is better however it does not work with the button reset a form. So having a field form similar to the text but allows the user to write by pen or finger that is also clear able should be an option.

  3. When converting a .pdf into a fillable form ('Prepare Form') please create an option to set properties so that Acrobat will always apply my preferred properties as the default.

It is inefficient to always convert the font and other properties to the settings I prefer for the forms I design.

I am aware I can set defaults for fields once the form is prepared and then duplicate this in a given form. I am also aware that I can multiple-select fields and change the properties for a group. However, I'd like a more efficient default-setting…

  4. Adobe currently has capabilities to send forms via e-mail, but this feature would also be terrific to have to send via text.

  5. I dislike the way text inside multi-line-read-only data fields gets larger when documents are zoomed in on in active web forms. This sometimes means the text becomes too large to fit into the field and it becomes a scroll box. This happens even if there is not that much text and ample room in the field. This happens whether I set the text to the smallest size (8) or "auto-size" the text. I wish the text would just stay the same size as it does when you are actually creating/editing online forms and zooming in…

  6. I have a form which I'm sending out for review.

The text boxes have a scroll option to allow the user to see all the text.

When I send it out for review the person reviewing cannot see the text the doesn't fit in the text box and there is no longer a scroll option.

Any ideas how to correct this issue?

  7. Currently there is no way to have lines breaks when specifying a default value in a multi-line text field when using text tags. The web interface does allow line breaks, though. It would be nice to have this feature available using text tags.

  8. PDF form fields have a dialog box that allows you to enter specific size and location parameters. Text boxes should have the same functionality. Dragging text boxes around and eyeballing the alignment is unacceptable. I need to be able to type in the exact distance from the top (or bottom), and left side, as well as the exact height and width of the text box. This is in line with every other GUI form tool I've used since 1996. I don't expect Acrobat to be a full composition program, but precision placement of text isn't too much to…

  9. I can see certain documents were created in MS Word with simple follow on/flowing text and standard paragraph styles ie no **** text boxes. Even with the export options turned off, Acrobat does this incredibly annoying export to text boxes where it is simply run-on (flowing) text. You then have to extract the text, box by box to get the document to be in an editable form. Even exporting to rtf has similar issues. Exporting to plain text means you have to format.

In the end, you waste valuable time either extracting the text or having…

  10. When checking forms in the PAC3 checker, I'm always getting this error for all the form fields: Possible inappropriate use of a 'Form' structure element.
In Acrobat (2020.009.20063 on MacOS X) I've done the accessibility check and the PDF/UA preflight without any problems, so the PDF should be ok.
To fix the problem I'm manually assigning the attribute "Placement: Block" for each form field in the tags panel, which is a lot of work. Is it possible to add that attribute automatically when creating the form field?
I could buy axesPDF QuickFix to fix the…

  11. Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20034, Entering a number in the Maryland application form for absentee ballot, a four digit field removes the leading 0. This leading 0 is necessary. I have fiddled with properties some but I will have to print the form and fill that in by hand.

  12. Ability to extract completed PDF forms such that the data is extracted into 1 record perform. The record has the data from each of the form fields on the form. The fields are labeled, so it would be helpful (using EXCEL as an example to export the data as follows in the attachment. Essentially row1 is the list of fields. Row 2 is the data from those fields. I show a 3rd row from a 2nd form in case it would be possible to process multiple forms at the same time.…

  13. Web forms and the completed agreements should have the option to delete. They take up space, can have personal information that requires more secure storage, and create redundancy when downloading form field data multiple times.

It is ridiculous that I cannot get rid of unwanted documents just because they are web forms.

  14. I need a simple box that can be added into a form which activates the drawing tool to enter a manual signature. If someone is filling out a form, they won't know at the signature point they have to jump to the tool menu and select the pen. For a user they are in the form, keep them in the form. Just a simple setting on a signature box to switch it to pen rather then Digital ID would be great.

  15. We are using adobe forms, have many form fields.

When you copy multipe fields using copy and past from one page to the other one, in many case form fields totally get out of place. The is a bug in our oppinion and make the tool total unusable for us, because we have lot of work creating new forms based on old ones.
somehow the bug is related to the fact, if there are fields on the target page.
of course we are using the latest adobe version on the lastet apple operation system.

  16. (See attachment)
It would be great to be able to grab and pull the left edge of the FIELDS pane over to the left to widen it. Some of the text field names can be very long and can look identical to others unless you can see the whole title. (I know you can hover over the title to see the full text but that only seems to work intermittently, and is time-consuming).
Also, when scrolling up and down or when trying to grab and move titles to rearrange the tab order, it's easy to get confused and lose…

  17. Font Size in Fillable Forms Text Box should have no limitation for size. Currently the limitation font size is 300pt and I constantly create Signs and Banners that use fonts size bigger that 300pt.
If you are a designer that create big designs vote for this idea!
    Thank you

  18. Printing a filled-in PDF Form (AcroForm, not XFA) is unreliable.

File / Print does not work reliably, regardless of which printer is selected (even PDF Virtual Printer) or the options for comments, etc.

    The problem is sporadic.

Several of our clients have had this happen, and there are frequent posts on the Adobe Forums for this problem.

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/W9-s/m-p/10668894#M222034

    Our testing results:

-- None of the form data prints, but the form skeleton does.

-- Some random form field data prints, but not all of it. Different field data will print each time the form is printed.

    -- Certain…

  19. Hi

I produce this pdf file, so that at a later date i can change the date. I've selected the edit tool in adobe pro and when i start to type in the date i want, the text moves from the bottom of the page to half way up the page. (as you will see from the pdf file attached)

I am doing this on a windows 7 machine.

On the other pages i dont have a problem. The pages of pdf are set up the same way, so I'm unclear as to what the problem is with this page.

  20. Highlighting is the main reason why I use pdfs. The main method that I use is selecting the text through hold left click and drag followed by right click and highlight. Usually the page is zoomed so that I can read the text. In a two-column journal, it is often the case that I want to highlight text from one column [bottom] to the other [top] but because the page is zoomed in, the page has to autoscroll back to the top - the speed which this happens is very slow.

    Solution:
    Please consider enabling selected text
