I guess you now have to use the Selection Tool to highlight text. When did that change occur?

JPEG export improvements for "Save file as" option
Hi, can you create an option to choose which format to choose by default using the "Save file as" command. Because I often have to export a jpeg format and have a quick button for the "Save file as", but every time I have the drop-down menu in the dialog I choose the JPEG format. Just add an option to choose the default format when using the option, so anyone can use it for most export formats. Or just remember the last selected format every time you use "Save file as

Adobe Digital Edition
This is not about Adobe Reader it is about Adobe Digital Edition. As there is no entry for ADE I chose the first one on the list and hope that a category for the ADE is created.
The problem is that Adobe Digital Edition is a Digital Reader and that you can't actually read your books through loss of access to the file or it appears that way. I assumed it was this as I cannot access your file either so assumed there would be nothing wrong with that file. Print to .pdf from word 2013 keeps changing paper size from a4 to 8.5”x11”
Currently have Adobe Acrobat installed on my university machine and am using Word 2013 to compile my thesis chapters and figures (.emf and .png files). However when I either use the ‘create pdf’ ribbon option using press quality settings (adjusted to a4 paper size) I end up with a .pdf with 8.5 x 11 in size. This happens also when printing via Adobe PDF option through word.

BUG: Date format error message typo (Spanish)
When you create a form field with Date validation, the default error message in Spanish has a typo. For example, if I set the custom date format to be "dd/mm/yyyy", there is a space missing. See attachment.
Bug: "El formato debe coincidirdd/mm/yyyy"
What it should read: "El formato debe coincidir dd/mm/yyyy" (notice the space after "coincidir")This happens on Acrobat for MacOS, only in Spanish.

Need option to see thumbnails sidebar automatically when opening ANY pdf.
Apparently not a new request/idea. But, many of us use the same tools on most of our documents, but whenever we close the window, all the sidebars get closed, and have to be reopened again, often requiring 2 clicks or more to get back to tools we were just using seconds ago. I am specifically needing the page thumbnails to nearly always be open. It does seem as if each document can remember this setting after it has been open, at least for a while, but new docs open with the sidebars closed? I have not found a setting in…

Old Adobe was better
In prior Adobe Acrobat versions scanned pages could easily be inserted into an existing file as a new first page. or between any two previously existing pages. That was excellent as I always add pages to the top of existing documents. That feature appears to have been stupidly eliminated. I want the old Adobe!
1 voteThis functionality is still there. You can insert pages at any location you want. Follow the steps:
1. Open any file in Acrobat
2. Go to Organize Pages app
3. Click on “Insert → From Scanner” option
4. Select options to scan and click scan button
5. A dialog will come asking where to insert scanned pages. Now you can select any option suites you.Also, at step 3 you can hover around pages where you want to add scanned pages, there will be a “+” button. Clicking it will add pages at that location only.

streamline digital signing
It takes too many clicks to digitally sign forms with signature blocks: 1 click to active to signature box, 1 to select the digital ID, 1 to sign, 1 to save, and 1 to replace the file with the signed version. I frequently sign forms with 2-4 signature fields and this gets tedious. Two clicks would be plenty.

Adobe should credit and keep track of my licenses.
I have purchased two perpetual and one subscription to the latest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. But Adobe acts as if I only have a single license,
When I go to my next computer, Adobe i forms me that I must unload the software from another computer to use the current one, even though I installed a separately purchased software on both computers.
Please credit me with having purchased what I paid for, instead to treating me as if I only have a single license.

Selecting Items
When editing converted graphics files it is difficult to select multi-layered items. Going through layers is an option, but much time is lost clicking on each path layer trying to find the right item. If a selection could locked or hidden much time could be saved in accessing the desired item.

Fill & Sign check marks, X, radio button etc other than "sign" all disapear on some documents and show up on other documents. How to I fix?

This is AsDesigned behavior. We show only the sign option for PDFs which have active form fields.
For other PDFs all options)checkmark, cross, sign etc.) are displayed.

Adobe documents will only duplex print on my Brother HL-L52000. There are no options to turn this off in the print menu
Adobe documents will only duplex print on my Brother HL-L52000. There are no options to turn this off in the print menu.
Auto-Duplexing is turned off in the printer. I have another Brother MFC-9340 that does not have this issue and prints single side. All other programs function properly and all print single sided.
Please advise how I can print documents from Adobe single sided.

Egynte and Adobe Sign
We are using Egnyte to send templates from Adobe sign and when the pop up box appears where you can choose which templates to send they are not organized in any specific way. I would like to have them sorted alphabetically or numerically.

Bug Report: Auto-Locked Text Comment Tool (04/2018)
Bug Report: Auto-Locked Text Comment Tool - how do you unlock the comment tool ("Locked" selection cannot be unchecked)? Please provide a concise & clear method for removed the "auto-lock" of the tools. The selection to reverse the lock is grayed out and cannot be unselected.
