  1. In Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Classic & Acrobat Pro 2017 the PDF icons on the left are quite large in Portfolio / View /Layout . It would be great if PDF Thumbnails could be enabled like in Windows explorer by checking the preference in General . I realise not all file thumbnails for all types of files could easily be created ( example Excel , Word )etc ..but we combine a lot of PDF secured files into a Portfolio & the thumbnail PDF view would really be a great feature in Portfolio/View / Layout

  3. I would like to see a "transform" capability similar to InDesign, with a panel or set of boxes in which the actual pixel X & Y coordinates, as well as the dimensions of an object, can be precisely set. Currently, the resolution on this type of placement appears to be set at 2 points, and I would like to be able to fine-tune that to pixels or 10,000ths of an inch as I can in InDesign. That's the basic idea, but read on for rationale.
I work mainly in InDesign to create pdf forms that I then take into Acrobat…

  4. If you open those files in Acrobat, and use the snapshot feature, then "control-a" to select everything, you will see differences in each one. In each case, on the right side, the app selects more than it should be selecting. For example, the sample with inset and color has a small band of white on the right side that is included in the selection that should not be. This was a bug in Acrobat 9. I was hoping to find this problem fixed in this version, but it is not. I only discovered this recently, because I started adding background…

  5. Whenever I use acrobat, my mouse seems driven by commads - not mine - to do things in acraobat. Things like scrolling, moving mouse, opening other windows in acrobat. Is it a ghost or is it Adobe?

    Hi,

I am afraid, Acrobat can not be responsible for this abrupt behavior. Please
do a virus scan on your machine. Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks

  6. We would like to be able to send more customized emails to our customers instead of the template Adobe Sign Email. Such as, instead of an automatic email being send out that reads "your agreement has been cancelled" we would like to edit this email to read "your agreement has been rejected".

Thanks for raising a feature request.
We would forward it to the management and let you know whenever we add this support.

    Thanks,

  7. Editing Adobe Sign Documents Before anyone signs in Workflows. You need to allow people to edit email addresses, documents, etc before anyone signs just like you do in the Send tab but for Workflows.

  8. Once someone enters a global signature block in Adobe Sign under Email Settings you need to make sure to not smash all the words together. If someone puts a new line in the signature block preserve that structure, such as:
    Phone
    Email...
    Not PhoneEmail...

  9. Adobe Sign is not working 8/18/17 for sending any documents. We have tried sending from multiple accounts and a variety of different documents. We have tried using the workflows and just the Send button. It gives back this message: Adobe Sign was unable to create your agreement because the document could not be thumbnailed. Please let me know you need more information.

  12. In previous versions of Adobe Acrobat / reader you could use a 3d mouse (3dconnexion) to zoom and navigate a document. This is very helpful on larger drawing type documents where you want to move around and zoom in. I noticed that the 3d mouse does work to scroll up and down a text type document. Are there any plans to integrate zoom and pan features?

Choose View > Zoom > Pan & Zoom, or click the Pan & Zoom tool in the Select and Zoom toolbar.

    Do any of the following:
1.Drag the handles of the box in the Pan & Zoom window to change the document magnification.

2.Drag the center of the box to pan across the area you want to see.

3.Click the navigation buttons to move to a different page.

4.Enter a value in the zoom text box, or click the plus or minus buttons to increase or decrease the magnification by preset levels.

  13. Creating mobile friendly PDF forms.

    You're Welcome.

Closing this for now until we have further info on the request.
    Can revisit later

  14. Allow user to put the signature / initial in a footer. We generate tenancy agreements and every time I have to put in initial / signature fields for the documents. It takes a long time to place the fields for 4 signatories and 30 pages. If allowed to put in the footer it would be great time saver. 30 pages could have initial fields placed in a jiffy.

  15. Have 1 icon for bookmarks wether it is created by adding a new bookmark or combining pdf files.
If you need to add a new bookmark to a file you cannot get it to display the same icon as those created using combine pdf's. Unless they offer different functions there is nothing but confusion caused by having 2 different icons.

  16. I have spent the past few months troubleshooting with HP Technicians and have determined that there is a bug when trying to print double-sided documents in Acrobat Pro (DC) using a HP OfficeJet 8710 printer on a Mac. The documents print reverse meaning that for a 3-page document, pages 2 and 3 print double-sided on one sheet of paper while page 1, prints separately. This does not occur with any other HP printers

    Hi,

Please provide the following information to reproduce the issue at our end:
    1. Your OS version
    2. Installed Acrobat/Reader version
    3. Printer drivers and model
    4. Sample PDF document on which you have observed this issue.

    Thanks
    Ritesh

  17. Currently the default lookup reference for word definitions in Acrobat is dictionary.com, an inadequate resource for a great many word definitions. There should be a setting to change this default to another URL of the user's choice. Some examples, but not exclusively, that are significantly better than the current choice would be merriamwebster.com or oxforddictionaries.com

  19. I need to be able to create a document where the images we include can not be screenshot and the searched for in google image search (thus enabling the person I am sending the PDF to to go to competitor websites who have the same images as us). So either no screenshot allowed or the ability to change the images we have sufficiently that google image will not find it.

  20. I am using Adobe Acrobat on a Surface Pro 2. The scaling is horrible, with dialog boxes too big for the screen and options inaccessible. I gather the height of the Surface Screen is not within your specification. Please can you enhance the dialog boxex so they display fully on the screen. I also use Captivate and this is fine. Dialog boxes display properly.
