Zooming or scrolling does not fix the problem. They will not draw correctly until I hide Acrobat, then making it the active application again, sometimes I have to quit the application and restart to solve the problem.

  1. MacBook Pro: Chip Apple M1 Pro, Memory 16 GB, MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 Acrobat has a particular performance drop when using the form boxes. At my work we are provided with a PDF file with fill boxes we need to use to write our weekly plans. On my Windows based computer everything runs as expected but when working from my MacBook Pro there is a serious performance degrading glitch. Whenever I select on a box to write in, I notice the entire PDF file lags and has difficulty scrolling or registering actions easily. Severely slowing my workflow. Only when I click…

  3. Bug! Cannot resize Acrobat DC Pro Javascript debugger window.

All content used to fit inside window.

Now on a 2560x1440 32" monitor, I can only see the script list, and part of the script window, but not the script and console window without scrolling... alot.

No, the bottom right corner drag does not resize the contents... only the window which makes the problem worse.

  5. I just opened Adobe after the latest auto-update was installed bypassing my preferred settings (that I keep changing) of having the auto-update disabled. Before this update I thought Adobe couldn't get any better but I was wrong. Now, not only is the bookmarks tab opened upon opening a document but this new all tools tab opens as well providing the user even less of an area to view the document.

It is possible for Abobe to add another box/screen/feature to open upon opening a document thus blocking the entire document we are trying to view/edit?

    Complements to the genius who…

  6. Last week's update was the worst of all (apart from the one to upgrade to the DC version). We work on macOS Ventura, Acrobat version 2023.006.20320. There's no scroll bar, you can't see your selections when you zoom in, it's like working blind. Pitstop tools are unusable. You have to cancel this update, go back. It's as if you don't care about the people who work with your applications, without taking their opinions into account. You never respond to feedback. Please cancel the last update!!!!

  7. Let's say we have a document 40 pages long. The usefulness of all 40 pages vary because of end-user knowledge.
    As such,
Master users will preferably only read 5 out of those 40 pages.
    Experienced will read 15 pages
    Intermediates 30 pages
    First time users 40 pages.

Now this already is possible with a plug-in, but I fail to understand why Adobe don't see plug-ins as a clear sign that users want / need the functionality.

Ok, what would be great is being able to script a user end button that calls the sort bookmarks function. The PDF would already…

    Hi,

I am afraid, Acrobat can not be responsible for this abrupt behavior. Please
do a virus scan on your machine. Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks

  9. Whoever made the tools sidebar THIS convoluted to operate is ********. Yes, he is allowed to take it personal. Fire that guy. Give us a Default toggle for the sidebar tools, not this half-assed "remember state of" toggle that is buried in the corner.

  10. The "new acrobat" doesn't seem to allow customizing the toolbar with toolbar buttons. Only "commands" can be added, not interface buttons such as Two-Page View, Single-Page Scrolling, etc. This is a major deficiency!

  12. Bug Report - Can't scroll to next page while in "Fill & Sign"

It seems like the only way to move to the next page while using "Fill & Sign" is by clicking on the next page arrow at the bottom. This is too cumbersome, especially when you need move between pages to review the information while you are signing or adding initials to every page. It's MUCH easier to just scroll down, please change this so you are able to just scroll.

  14. An option to delete the original file after splitting it into individual files would save time. Every time I split a PDF, I then have to go and delete the original file. On top of that, if I have split a PDF using 'top level bookmarks' Acrobat asks me if I want to save the file when closing it. So there are 2 steps that could be avoided by setting one option 'delete original file after splitting'.

  15. I can't get the number of pages to show up in the navigation pane/tools. In previous versions it was where the hand, arrow, and + and - buttons are. Is there some way that I can get the number of pages in the document without having to open thumbnails and scrolling down to see the total number of pages. Usually there was a box with 1/200 pages etc. Thanks!

  16. Good afternoon. I need to create hundreds of 1 page certificates. In MS Word I use the Mail Merge to include the participants names and signature. I convert all of them into a pdf file. With Adobe Acrobat Pro, I bookmark every certificate with the participants name. Before the name, I need to write "Certificate" so the name of each pdf would be for example "Certificate Joe Doe". I do this manually in the bookmark part. Then, in the Organize Pages part, I split them by Top Level Bookmarks. In Output Options, I wish there would be…

  17. Hello,

    In the attached file

-Select a grade under Grade Level
-Open up the standards selections under "I am going to learn" under any of the lessons
-Use the scroll bar to scroll down as far as you can

I'm developing the document on a Mac OS X system but I have also repro'd the issue on a Windows system.

    Expected Behavior
I expected the scrolling to go all the way down to the last item on the list.

    Observed behavior
The scroll only lets you go partway down the list. You can use the arrow keys to continue down…

Please update Acrobat to the latest patch and check if that resolves the issue. Launch Acrobat > click “check for updates” under Help menu.

  18. Instead of having a drop down menu for Fit to Width Scrolling and Fit One Full Page, place them side by side so that I don't have to click in and out, in and out, in and out.

  19. When using Acrobat DC and Preview concurrently; performance on DC is by far inferior. Scrolling, rendering, etc. is very slow and is evidenced by high CPU usage.

Upon further inspection, Preview delegates this workload to the GPU and provides a much smoother user experience.

This suggestion is to implement CPU/GPU resource management to improve user experience.
