Preflight fixes list scrolls too fast
In the Preflight window, when trying to scroll through the list of fixes using two-finger touchpad scroll, the scroll is much too fast and it's impossible to find anything. This is on an M1 Macbook Pro 2021 14" with MacOS 14.3.

Override Page Display
Accessibility -> Override Page Display didn't work in previous versions and doesn't in this one either.
Try on https://publications.blum.com/2022/catalogue/en/. Download the complete PDF catalogue.
Preferences set in Page Display and Accessibility->Override as single page continuous and fit width.
File opens as Fit Single Page. Change view to Fit Width Scrolling. Click on any page number link in the document and the view changes back to Fit Single Page.
This is a reference publication I use a great deal and I curse at its ignorance of my view preferences every time.
Override should ignore ALL changes to document view…

Make comments pane only show text comments
I want to be able to see my sticky notes comments at a glance without having "highlighted text" comments clogging the pane. But I still need to have the highlights appear in the document itself. Filtering in the comments pane makes those disappear. Can we get the option to make the filter apply only to the pane? I'm sick of scrolling through hundreds of "highlighted text."

Show scroll location at all times
It is insane to me that the location on the scroll bar in your current document hides when you are not hovering the mouse over the scroll bar. This is actively unhelpful. I need to be able to see where I am in the document at a glance and should not have to hover over the scroll bar to get this information. Bring back this BASIC feature.

Tool Bar Obscures Information
The Tool Bar cannot be easily moved or hidden.
On some documents this means that information is covered by the Tool Bar and there is no way to move the document to show it.
In the attached example, the left column of the table is hidden, and there is no horizontal scroll bar to move the document across.7 votes -

BUG: Split PDF Output Options - "Same Folder Selected at Start" and "Use bookmark names for file names" is mutually exclusive.
This appears to be a bug as other people around me using the same software have no issues with these 2 options being mutually exclusive. What setting or why are these mutually exclusive for me? Sounds like a bug as I cannot find any information as to why this would occur.

Cannot switch between page display views
I am unable to jump between different single page display views in Acrobat DC. I am unable to go back to Single Page View when I select Single Page-Enable Scrolling. Workaround is to select two-page view first and then it will allow me to switch back to single page view. I checked on a few different computers with Acrobat DC with the same reproducible bug.

More Contrast Acrobat Bookmark Icon - Make the 'ribbon icon' more prominent for the selected page.
Rather than having the bookmark icon for the selected page 'slightly darker' give it higher contrast for easier navigation - see image

Please separate page up/down functionality vs arrows
In any of the old versions, there was an option of "full page" view in which buttons "page up" / "page down" would go to the entire previous / next page, and not scroll to a part of it. This options is now split to two ("enable scrolling" + "fit heith") , while all buttons (pup/pdn/arrows) work the same way. It's much better, in terms of productivity, to have the arrows to scroll within a page, and the pup/pdn buttons to move to the previous/next page.

move through highlights and comments instead of having to scroll through them
I often view 100+ page PDF's, and I highlight stuff throughout them. I'd like to easily look through all of my highlights and comments without having to scroll through the entire PDF.

Create a way to opt out of "new tools" notifications/ tips / contextual pop-ups
Added to the many annoying notifications/ tips / contextual pop-ups/ advertising messages that Adobe has recently built in to Acrobat are notifications about "New Tools", whether in the quick access tool panel, on the application home page, or when viewing my online account/ profile at acrobat.adobe.com.
It appears to be some kind of "tour" of new features that is commonly used in other products, but (1) most of the places this notification appears will NOT trigger a tour when you click on it (it just opens the 'All Tools' menu), and (2) there is NO way to opt-out of it.

Major problem with form links to PDF file since update 13.02.2024
Major problem with form links to PDF file since update 13.02.2024
I have a large PDF file collection with reciprocal links to other PDFs, which has been working without any problems for about 20 years.
Since the last Reader update of 13/02/2024 (23.008.20533), opening PDF files via a link in the Acrobat form button (Open file) no longer works. The file is only partially opened and the error message "No PDF file" appears and Acrobat closes without any further entries.
If I select this file directly for opening, it is loaded without any problems.

scaling bar blocks scroll bar
I cannot find the "Help > About" operation to find out the version of my Adobe PDF Reader.
Problem: If you click the any scaling button ("enlarge" [+] or "reduce" [-]), it brings up the scaling bar. The scaling bar blocks the bottom part of the scroll bar. This is annoying, because I cannot reach the "down" button at the bottom end of the scroll bar. I suggest using the tool bar area to show the scaling bar, instead of making it block the bottom part of the scroll bar. Thank you.1 vote -
Navigate with [space bar] to grab and scroll in the commenting section
I use the comments a lot. With this new update, you can't use [space bar] to grab and scroll in the comments section, like you can do in the section on the left where your document is.
And the arrows don't work well either, because if you use them in the long list of comments, they jump further in a way you get lost!
If the scroll bar wasn't hidden and a bit wider in the comments section, this would solve this problem partially. Using [space] to grab and navigate would be best. I think it was like that before...

moving a page to a specific numbered page within a document
In earlier versions of acrobat, right click on a page will bring up a dialog for inserting a number where one wants to move a page. For example, if I am on pag 78, and want this page to be at page [before/after] say 10, then I right click page 78, and select move and insert page number 10 in dialog box. This is very helpful when you have all pages that cannot be displayed on a screen. Drag and drop works well for a screenful of pages, and is very difficult scrolling vertically or horizontally through several pages. I…

scroll bar for comments sidebar
Please restore the scroll bar for the comments sidebar in Acrobat. The scroll bar is now hidden by default, but it's jumpy and hard to access. I now have to use the arrow keys on my keyboard to move up and down within the panel. It's become much harder to use in the redesigned interface.

BRING BACK the little top and bottom arrows on the scroll bar
I see below a lot of comments about the scroll bar. I want to know where the little up and down arrows went! My gosh, their function is profound. When working in a thousand-page document in which I have to find the minutiae of data point, I need the little arrows. The big scroll bar is NOT precise enough to work on one page of a document. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK. Why did you break something that was not broken. What was wrong with the little arrows? Please, I beg of you, bring them back like in prior versions. The…

MOVE THE CREATE BUTTON
The "+ CREATE" button being at the very top is mildly inconvenient.
I use Adobe to view PDFs quite often... constantly throughout the day. Everytime I try to grab the top of the screen to drag my Adobe window over to another screen, the only space that I have is just to the right of the CREATE button... and so every time I scroll over it, a pop up screen appears. Then I either accidentally click on it, opening up the CREATE A PDF screen (which I then have to close), or I have to wait for the pop up…

pdf not responding
Simply just opening a pdf and attempting to scroll up or down causes the document to lag every time. It's renders the program nearly useless. Since I am paying a month subscription, I expect to not have problems like this.
