  3. The new design is extremely buggy. Following are all the problems I am facing since the new update. As a paying consumer, this new update feels like something a child made...

    1. The application has become extremely laggy. (I never had this problem before the new update). I edit a simple text on the PDF, I have to wait a good minute or two for the text to change.

    2. When I copy Korean text from the pdf and try to paste it somewhere else, occasionally it distorts the Korean text into Chinese characters.

    3. I am seeing the "Not responding" sign more…

  6. My business requires signature of multiple documents in various places and I'm required to sign hundreds of these documents near deadlines that occur throughout the year. Having the ability to open multiple documents at once to then quickly click to certify AND sign ALL signature fields placed in ALL open documents with only a few clicks would eliminate a lot of time I currently spend having to click through each signature field of each document.

While a batch signature functionality exists, the true efficiency of batch signing does not exist in the current Adobe functionality. Having to manually click through…

  7. Currently the PDF signature routines of Acrobat fail when using certain certificates. As an SecSigner employee explains, this may be due to symmetric curve crypt algorithms or using PSS padding, cf. https://seccommerce.com/anforderungen-an-den-secsigner-im-rahmen-von-etsi/ (in German)

E.g. current PDF files by amazon.de result in the following error (German Acrobat DC installation, no pending updates):

    Fehler bei Unterschriftsprüfung.

Bei der Prüfung ist ein Fehler aufgetreten:

    Interner kryptografischer Bibliotheksfehler.
    Fehlercode: 0x2726

  8. I support a law firm and request a more non technical way to identify 3rd party PDF Produced documents to better support end users with PDF displaying issues. We currently Print to Adobe PDF printer any problem document once the document is reported as a problem but is there a way where Adobe can warn the end user that the document is created by a 3rd party and not produced by an Adobe product. Something like a colored banner that just informs the end user with out clicking into File --> Properties --> PDF Producer:

    Expected result:

    - Nothing else.

    Observed result:
    - Files are combined into a single PDF, which is shown in open window.
    - The "Combine Files" box opens again. Even after clicking on "Cancel", the box re-opens.

  11. Since I work one copy I like to mark my redactions and when complete I save a copy to apply the redactions and then I remove all the redactions to have a clean copy. I may not want to remove all comments, just the redaction boxes

I do this so if I remove pages I don't have to do so on multiple copies and try to keep track of where I am.

  13. In the latest update pushed this week, 2024.005.20421, the Light Theme "Old" style Acrobat (Pro and Reader) version was updated to 2024.005.20421 recently. The "Light Gray" Display Theme File Menu bar highlights color changed and is hard to read the text since it doesn't change the text to White like the main window bar. When the mouse hovers over the File Menu options, the dark Blue color overpowers the text color which stays a dark gray. See attached. Before, it wasn't a blue highlight but a gray with black text.
No changes to the Windows 11 system settings for Color…

  14. The most recent release of Acrobat Pro as of 09/11/2025 on Mac OS Sequoia is buggy and at times almost unusable. At times I can't even scroll pages without the application hanging up. I need to force quit periodically when navigating through my document. With Adobe's continual attempt to add new features such as AI components, you bombard users with all your new brilliant ideas without fixing all the problems you morons either create or overlook.

  17. When we add an image field in Acrobat pro and then save as reader (for client use) they cannot replace the image with a jpeg (normal format for pics) - can the java script be amended to allow this. Annoying as we can only create documents to be opened with Reader with editable text fields at the moment as editable image fields dont seem to work (unless the pic is a pdf and clients struggle with this). Any advice/ideas/workarounds appeciated. DP

  18. The chat tab does not recognise any keyboard input properly. Instead, the keys are recognised as tool keys in the programme, which is why it is impossible to type a question. I can only write a question/command somewhere else and copy paste it into the tab. Awaiting fixes.

  19. Why default to yellow text on white background? It's impossible to read. Personally, some DARK themes would be desirable, i.e. yellow text on black background. Is a SIMPLE link to change SETTINGS in this regard?

  20. The latest 64bit version of Acrobat Reader is very slow on a larger file (13MB, 2800 pages of primarily text).
    Specifically version 2023.001.20064 64 bit.
Loading takes at least a minute. Opening the comments panel requires 30sec.

Moving by clicking a Bookmark is fast after everything loads. I have plenty of memory, 64GB vs 8GB used.

Testing finds the slowdown occurs after comments have been added. And I mean only 2 comments. Even after the slow load, it requires 18sec to jump between the pages with the comments. In contrast, FoxIt Reader, is functionally instantaneous.

    Acrobat Reader is unusable in…
