  1. Our team uses "send for comments" all day everyday. Currently we can only use "local server" to collect comments. When we use "send for comments" using adobe cloud, we lose most of the mark-up tools for collaborators to post comments. I recommend Adobe figure out how to have a full functional shared review via adobe cloud- same functionality / markup tools that are available in the local server option.

This is basic functionality that Adobe's competitors has already, and I think will end up leading to Adobe losing customers if the functionality is not expanded/improved.

  2. I must click the blue "Learn More' button on Acrobat's lower right hand corner at least 20x a day!!!!!! I don't ever need to use this, but always need to access the sidebar panel of tools, for which I'm constantly dragging at that bottom right corner to open the window wider, etc. - which auto launches Adobe's website — please for the love of sanity — remove this annoying button that links me to Adobe's website so I can "Learn about my CC plan." If I want to learn about it, I'll log into my account.

Thank you for the suggestion. We have notified our engineering for the same. We shall get in touch with you incase we need more information.

    Thank you for the patience

  3. In Acrobat DC, when viewing in untabbed mode, the part of the toolbar that shows the current zoom level and allows the user to type in the desired zoom percentage is missing. It appears on the floating/vanishing toolbar when page controls are moved out of toolbar, but not on the main toolbar.

Please add this feature back to the toolbar. Using tabbed viewing is NOT a solution. This should have never been removed in the first place. Let me repeat, having to use tabbed viewing is NOT a solution.

  4. Request:
A Microsoft Word document can be either a .docx or .dotx, the difference is that when saving the .docx, the file is overwritten; when saving the .dotx, a new file is created. I propose a similar feature for PDFs.

    Use Case:
I've created a fillable PDF and saved it as a PDF to a network share and SharePoint. People have the tendency to open it, fill it out (as they should) and then click save (or Ctrl-S, muscle memory). That commits those filled form fields to the file system such that the next person who opens…

  5. There is no option to prevent the "Discover" panel which shows Recommended Tools from opening EVERYTIME you open a document. When you're operating with a number of documents for data entry purposes, it is extremely frustrating to have to close the panel every single time you open a document. And no, the "save last settings" check box does not fix this problem.

  6. PLEASE stop making this thing pop up at me. I do not want it. Every time I open a document it bugs me to "summarize" it or give me info on it, but the info it gives is incorrect, wrong, and purely made up. It's a stupid, useless tool built on stolen data. Stop shoving it down my throat. I have no need for a inaccurate summary of anything!! What benefit is that?

  7. Add to the preferences an option to turn off all tool-tips and tricks pop-pops. it's gotten so bad that I've canceled my personal subscription to adobe but still have to suffer through it for work. Also, fire your marketing team for ever coming up with this stupid idea.

  10. Acrobat DC 64-bit, version 2022.001.20169.
    Windows 11 Pro, 10.0.22000 Build 22000 (Updated on 2022-07-25)

Bug: The "Make Hand tool select text & images" option doesn't work on Acrobat DC 64-bit. In Hand tool mode, it can't select text and images.

    Steps to reproduce the bug:
    1) Turn on the option "Make Hand tool select text & images".
    2) Change to Hand tool and try to select text in any simple PDF file.

    Expected result: Can select text

Observed result: Can't select text as in Acrobat DC 32-bit.

  11. Acrobat DC on an iMac with 4k retina display with a second monitor attached.
When I try to bring a panel, such as the Pan & Zoom panel, onto the second monitor, first of all, it doesn't show up on the second panel. I moved it off the first monitor and the part that should show up on the 2nd monitor doesn't show up.

When I move the pane fully onto the 2nd monitor, instantly Adobe Acrobat DC crashes.

  12. I recently installed Adobe Acrobat and found a small, persistent box that lives in the bottom-left corner of the application window. It's labeled "Get Started" and indicates it is a 5 step process. This is not a pop-up, or a separate window, or something that comes and goes. It's a permanent box affixed to the bottom-left (e.g., underneath the list of Tools if Tools is being viewed in the left-hand panel).

I completed all of the steps except the last one, which involves getting Acrobat on your mobile device. Long story short, I could not complete this step. But…

  13. Please please give us an option to remove the terrible "Try Acrobat PC Pro" blue button in the tabs bar. There is already more than enough ads for it everywhere: in the tools sidebar on the right, on the home screen, etc.

This button is taking up so much space that could be used to show more tabs! I'm so used to using Adobe and I like it but I think I will switch to another reader if this button is not removed. I even tried installing an older version of acrobat (which was a pain just to find it)…

  15. Need a keyboard shortcut for IMAGE tools - i.e, once I select one or more images in "PDF EDIT" mode, I don't want to use the mouse to always go select the tool I need (for me, it's "Crop Image" that I am constantly clicking).

    Thank you for listening.

  16. Users should be able to view layers and comments AT THE SAME TIME. The update has layers, comments and such now only in one pane on the right. Users should be able to move those elements around, for instance, to view layers on the left and comments on the right.

  17. This is not an idea, I just wanted to provide feedback that generative AI tools are an instant turn-off. I would vastly prefer a program that helps fight against the use of generative AI by protecting my documents from AI programs. I would pay more money to use a program that does not feature any kind of AI assistance, AI suggestions, AI integration of any kind.

We used to live in a world where corporations understood that when a user has a positive experience with a product or service, they will only tell one or two people, but if they…

  18. What an irritating user interface seriously. I wonder if the interface designers ever work on their own product. No sense of where to place the tool and task bars. What is the ease of accessibility have you guys created?. Please change back to the previous version. This is the most nonthought of update.

  19. One moment, I was using Acrobat to review and edit page proofs for a medical journal I handle and the next moment all my customization was gone! No toolbars, nothing I need to do my job. All gone! Additionally, the new layout is HUGE and unwieldy. I want to be able to sort through several PDFs to compare pages and revisions. Now, I have one page taking up the middle of my screen and this giant blank workspace all around it. Where did everything go? Why did Adobe completely change everything after years of a familiar, but ever updating application?…

  20. I would like to add the "Add/Edit Web or Document Link" tool to my Quick Tools menu. I've tried to do this by using the "Customize Quick Tools..." and "Create Custom Tool". In both cases Acrobat DC only allows me to add the full "Links" drop-down menu not specific tools that appear on the drop-down menu.
