  2. Have to copy text from Acrobat pdf comments constantly. It is impossible to read when the comment box is open (clicked to copy text). Why does it have to change size from the open comment column when clicked? Please fix this, makes jobs take twice as long as they need to.

  4. With enterprise deployment of Adobe Acrobat. It would be nice to have silent or SSO activation when opening Adobe Acrobat the first time that way the person maybe just has to input email address if anything at all and be done. We are using User Named Licensing. We have 4500+ people and trying to have them understand all they need to do is type in their email address and tab to Enterprise is not easy. They try to enter email and password which doesn't always work and then get into a confusing process. This produces alot of extra calls to…

  6. After scanning document for OCR, it will copy, but pastes a bunch of question marks and not the text that was copied.

  7. The opacity setting for highlighting seems to apply to universally across all colors. I think a better approach would be to allow a different opacity setting for each color.

In my experience, there is no single opacity setting that provides decent readability for black on white text where the color of the highlighter is important. As a result, workflow suffers when having to adjust opacities after switching among colors, something that happens frequently when commenting my documents.

  8. When I prepare an AdobeSign, all signatures are in their "right" place. When the document ends up with the signees, the signature boxes for some of the signees are in the wrong place and they would sign for others instead. This now happened to me twice and makes the product unusable as I can't predict this in advance.

  9. Typing CTRL-f or CMD-f usually produces a "find/replace" box, which works. But then it switches to a "search" box up in the menu bar area, which does not work. If I have two instances of Acrobat running (which I do to compare edited documents side by side) and close one of them, the "find/replace" box disappears and the nonfunctioning "search" box appears. It wouldn't be so annoying if the search box actually functioned, but it does not.

  10. When I use the Google Drive File Picker in Adobe Sign and trying to search, the result is always blank. The same search in Google Drive shows the files I'm looking for.
macOS 10.12.6 using Chrome Version 60.0.3112.90.
The problem occurs on different adobe sign accounts and different laptops.

We apologise for the issue you are facing. We need some more information from you to be able to investigate this further:
    1. Do you see a completely blank file picker dialog? Or you see the file list but search returns 0 results in Google Drive files?
    2. Can you please try quitting all Chrome browser instances (check that no Chrome instance is running in activity monitor) and then re-try?
    3. Do you observe the same on Windows too?

    Thanks,

  11. Windows Server 2012
    Adobe Acrobat Standard DC

When we use Windows File explorer to Combine files we are not able to get it to work If you do not have Adobe Acrobat DC Open.

    Steps we take

    1. Select multiple documents using Control + Click in File Explorer.
    2. Right click then select Combine files in Acrobat
    3. Adobe acrobat opens to a Welcome Screen of sorts. There is no way here to combine the files.

If we have Adobe Acrobat DC open then it brings you to the Combine files window as it should.

First image is how it looks if you…

  12. This request is being submitted at the suggestion of Adobe Support which was unable to provide effective support for Case Nº 0189220198. Of the 252 applications currently installed on our macOS Sierra system, only Acrobat Pro XI cannot be reinstalled or upgraded because the storage volumes are formatted as case-sensitive. The previously case-insensitive system volume on which Acrobat Pro XI version 11.0.20 had previously been installed was converted to a case-sensitive format. This was done by imaging the volume as a DMG file using Disk Utility, and then after reformatting as case-sensitive, the volume was restored using the ditto command…

    Hi Michael

Thanks for your lucid explanation. This is already planned and very soon the issue would be resolved.

    Thanks

  13. This is a bug. This used to work. Around 6 weeks ago, this stopped working. Steps to reproduce: Select Scan & OCR -> In this file -> Pages -> (User enters a page range). Then choose Recognize text. The page range shown in the dialogue box will be ignored and ALL pages will have OCR performed. Platform: Windows. Expected Result: Selected Pages get OCR. Observed Result: All pages get OCR.

  14. Currently, typing ~ is assigned in Acrobat to BOTH "insert text at cursor" AND "output preview." It is completely unpredictable which action will result when I type ~.

I need to be able to bring up the "insert text a cursor" function without having to mouse all over the place.

    Please fix this bug.

  15. I have documents with sensitive information that need signature. I do not want the signed document to be sent to the receiver once it is signed because I do not want their sensitive information sitting in their email for potential hackers. Why does this take a support call to have you disable the feature from the backend? This should be a preference for the users in their account settings.

Secondly, I still want a copy of the signed document with the audit report as the last page. Yet, once this feature is disabled, I can no longer receive a copy

  17. Actual "Print Page" Fixture dont do it; it only print the linked page / pages associated with selected bookmarks, but not the bookmark names /structure as a list itself.

  18. Acrobat DC 21.005.20048 (Win10):
    Actions taken:
    - Starting a PDF Form from scratch
    - Adding text with text-tool
    - Adding text-field
    - Adding checkbox
    Result:
Text and any other object cannot be selected at the same time, neither by box-select nor by SHIFT or CTRL.
Text does not appear in "Fields" list and can thus also not be selected there.
    - Cannot align text with fields or other objects

    - Cannot move text with fields

    Proposal:
    - Make text selectable together with fields
    - Create a "label" object, which acts…

  19. I am trying to open a pdf form from the Gov. of Canada using Acrobat Pro DC but nothing happens. After double clicking the file, I can see a background process (in task manager) but it doesn't show any activity and the interface doesn't show even after several minutes of waiting. I have tried restarting / repairing installation but same result. Any other document works fine. I have tried opening the same document on another machine with Acrobat reader DC and it opens properly in a few seconds. I have attached the document as well as a screenshot of…

  20. The user experience of using the Accessibility tags feature is unacceptably inefficient. Consider that the user might need to tag hundreds of documents, themselves hundreds of pages. Try this yourself, or observe someone else trying it. You should quickly see how unnecessarily slow and tedious the workflow is, using these tools. Dragging little tiny icons around in the sidebar panel is slow, difficult, and often inaccurate. There's no way to just click on something on the screen to indicate what it is and how it should be tagged. You can't draw an area around an image/caption. When the auto…
