  1. In the new update, the color of the highlight changed from the bold yellow to the faint, faded yellow. I really cannot appreciate this change because of the poor contrast the faded yellow has with the white background.

    I work with my computer all day and sometimes reduce the brightness level of the screen to reduce glare, which causes eye strain, but now the faded yellow highlight is so hard to see when the screen is on lower brightness.

    If you must have this faded yellow color for the highlight, I would want to at least have multiple options…

  2. In fact, all languages supported by the open source tesseract project should be available to Adobe customers. Better yet, Adobe licenses OCR from I.R.I.S. S.A. and meanwhile Readiris 17 has support for 130 languages, including Icelandic. Time to update or lose some license restrictions and move open source. What are you paying for, other than sub-par technology? Tesseract is a project supported by Google with an Apache 2.0 license.

    Foxit and ABBYY Finereader also have support. Adobe is severely lagging behind here. The tesseract engine is particularly good at character recognition but does not have a very nice interface. There…

  3. Use the OS settings on font size and scaling in dialog boxes, menus, etc within the desktop app. For users with vision challenges, it can be difficult to read the menus and dialog boxes within the application. zoom settings are easy to adjust within documents. Users should be able to read the text within the application too.

  4. Acrobat literally needs an option for editing corner of buttons... I mean default button not thous we can add as icon for buttons. Right on the "Buttons Properties" window.

  5. Please add bates stamping back to the Add a Stamp tool. Putting it in Edit a PDF means Adobe analyzes the entire PDF and compromises the integrity of the document every single time I need to apply a bate stamp. Thanks.

  7. Brief description of the use case:
    starting from Adobe Document cloud in a SharePoint online environment I click on the "Desktop" button to open a PDF file in Adobe Reader.
    A selection window appears where i can start Acrobat Reader or download & install the app.
    The download button is highlighted in blue, and encourages me to be the better choice.

    Error indication:
    The application is already installed by 100% of users. Due to a lack of permission on the desktop, Acrobat Reader cannot be downloaded and installed again.

  8. The current two machine limit is much lower than what is offered by other subscription services. iTunes allows 5 per account, for example. Having one person use 3 machines regularly is not uncommon. I use a work desktop, a home office desktop, and less frequently, a laptop when traveling. It is very inconvenient to have to constantly sign in and out on these machines. I would urge Adobe it increase it's limitation to 3-5 machines per license purchased.

  9. In order to flatten images on a Mac, I am unable to use the flattening icon. I must export the file as postscript. When I do that, it darkens all images and puts a thin outline around all text boxes and images, which ruins my product. This is for items to sell and it is seriously effecting my business.

  11. Copy/Paste does not work with special characters (used in Spanish, French, German, Danish etc.) anymore. Instead of letters it just leaves blank spaces in the document. Here is an example:

    Copy in Acrobat Pro DC:

    "Nous vérifions volontiers la possibilité d'une telle
    production spéciale pour le cas individuel."

    Paste in any other program:

    "Nous v rifions volontiers la possibilit  d'une telle
    production sp ciale pour le cas individuel."

    I have tested this on various different computers running macOS Monterey 12.1 and Acrobat Pro DC 2021.011.20039.

  12. When opening files in SharePoint Online in Adobe Acrobat desktop via the Adobe Acrobat for Microsoft 365 app, there are way too many clicks - three for opening and three for closing outlined below.

    It would be great if these clicks could be eliminated via preferences; the most important to eliminate would be Version Comments on Check In and the click to "Desktop" after it opens in browser Acrobat.

    1. Click on the applicable file in SharePoint in browser to open (this one make sense of course)
    2. Click desktop to open the file in Adobe Acrobat desktop rather than…

  13. I'm using Windows 11, 64-bit. Auto-updated the other day and now I cannot use my cursor, it turns into a large black square. I tried reverting to the prior reader version but I wasn't successful. I tried capturing a screenshot but of course the square disappears with the print screen function.

  14. I open all PDF files just fine. After anywhere from 20 mins to an a couple hours I will receive an error "Insufficient data for an image" and the document goes blank - all pages are white. If I have multiple PDFs open the same thing happens to other files, though may get different error such as "There was an error while reading a stream." but all pages similarly go blank. Have to close all and reopen. Files may or may not have comments in them. Seems to happen to any and all files.

  15. I have 2 problems with the New Adobe update.
    1) There is No Way to Reverse Print so the doc does not have to be HAND Reversed to be in Readable Order on my HPOffice Jet Pro 7740.
    2) There is No way to Print Both sides on my printer HPOffice Jet Pro 7740

  16. I'm trying to delete pages from a multi page document in Docman (PCTi Solutions) with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I am not getting the delete option unless I check the full document out onto my desktop, edit it there, drop it back into Docman and delete the original. I want to amend the original not delete it. What an I missing??

  17. Before the update, Pattern designers could provide a list of layers, with one layer being one size of the pattern. This allowed printing of only one layer (size) of a pattern instead of all the sizes at once. The print preview shows the proper layers selected, but it prints all layers of the file.

  20. I downloaded purchased PDF files from Teachers Pay Teachers. Adobe Acrobat opens them. I can view them just fine. When I print, however, the job is processed, a printer icon appears showing 1 job is being created, and then the icon disappears. It doesn't appear to get to the printer at all.
    I can print with the text editor just fine.
    I am using a MacBook Air with MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 operating system. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (first time I looked, was using 2017 version, now says continuous version????)
