  1. Steps to reproduce:

    1. Be on an Apple Mac with one monitor (I'm currently on macOS 13.4.1c)
    2. Create two Apple Spaces
    3. In Space A, open PDF #1
    4. In Space B, open PDF #2

Expected result: After step 3 Acrobat creates a new window in Space A that displays PDF #1, and after step 4 Acrobat creates a new window in Space B that displays PDF #2.

Actual result: After step 4 Acrobat loads PDF #2 into the window in Space A that currently displays PDF #1 (bug #1), and then it tries and fails to switch to that Space,…

  2. I purchased a sealed copy of Adobe Acrobat 11.0 from Ebay. There was no evidence of tampering and the serial number printed on the CD cover cannot be validated. I am disappointed that Adobe is not validating the boxed product.

  4. Ever since the new Adobe update I cannot combine 4-5 photos to create a single PDF. I used to do this all the time, but now it does not let me. Extremely frustrating as I am trying to get work done and I cannot do a basic function. Ive tried downloading the photos all sorts of ways, and even tried to work around the error through dropbox. Nothing works. I cannot upload the photos.

  5. 2) Steps to reproduce the problem:

Being logged into the business account of OfficeDepot.com for the company I work for, and needing to create a PDF of a shopping list of one of my coworkers I will start by:

    a) Either right clicking on the web page or clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the Chrome web browser.
    b) I then locate and click on the "print" option.
    c) When the print window comes up, I change it from a physical printer to Adobe PDF to "print" (create) a PDF of the web page…

  6. When converting a PDF to a PowerPoint file, Acrobat automatically attempts to convert individual slide elements such as text into editable content.

This is useful for many users, but that makes PDF a far less useful intermediate filetype for locking and preserving PowerPoint formatting than it should otherwise be. In an ideal world, one would be able to turn off that feature and create a PowerPoint file where each individual slide is a static image— leaving zero opportunity for a missing font or any other weird issues to appear whatsoever.

  7. Mac OSX, Adobe Acrobat PRO DC (Build: 20.9.20067.384717)

I am working on improving some pdfs at work, in one of these there are two fields for the user to input numbers (currency), but the field type number does not include any format that is correct way of formatting numbers in Norway.

I need the thousand separator to be space and the decimal separator to be comma, the only options in the form field settings is
    1.123,10
    1,123.10
    1123,10
    1123.10
    1'123.10
not the one I need, and that is correctly format for most numbers in Norway (expected result):
    1 123,10

  8. I have been working with Acrobat for as long as it has existed, and this version is a nightmare. I have spent hours trying to sign a contract while my customer waits for a response. The sign icon at the top is greyed out. I am unable to edit, add text fields, add signature image. I may have to resort to printing the entire contract and rescanning it as I also cannot insert a page into this locked document. We do not need more features, we just need the ones we have to work.

  9. If you're using the darkmode, all the images turning to black and white. It is unpractical if you're reading a paper with some color-coded diagrams in it.
Suggestion: implement an option, do change the behavior of the darkmode.

  11. Would be great if more customization would allow user to choose to see only the tools they would like to see. Way too many tools on tool bar that are not used. The unused ones take up space that I would prefer to have the tools i use often occupy. Results in multiple unnecessary clicks to access the tools I do use. I have customized the quick tool bar but when reviewing a document in portrait mode only 2 of those are displayed - and can only access the others with additional clicks. Meanwhile many are displayed that I…

  12. Adobe Acrobat XI Standard opens for 10-20 seconds before crashing. No error dialog, the application window simply disappears. Have run repair, have uninstalled Reader, have run as administrator, same result. Computer has been rebooted several times. This is for a managed client who critically needs Acrobat to function.

  13. I would love to be able to Copy/Paste data from a PDF opened within the Microsoft Teams application, i.e. a user sends me a PDF in a Teams message. I have to download the file and open it up manually.

  14. I think adding a feature to spell check all content within a PDF would be greatly beneficial for everyone. Our company uses spell check within Word all the time to ensure no egregious errors are present, but when documents are pulled into artwork, we then lose that ability to do a spell check. Many companies work strictly out of Acrobat for most of their process, but the only thing spell check is able to review on the artwork is comments. If it could review all content, it would help save errors in printing which would save companies money. If you…

  16. I received an Acrobat file in regards to our building strata company and it is unreadable in Adobe Acrobat DC 2015, but is perfectly readable in Microsoft Edge. Not properly readable with Firefox. I believe it is the result of combined Acrobat files.

Maybe Adobe can fix this problem.

  17. I use Acrobat to read schematic diagram PDFs output from Altium. One feature is that if you click on a component (such as a transistor) the PDF is designed such that a pop-up window comes up and displays data about that component, such as it's part number. The troublesome part is that you can't select and copy anything in the popup window. I don't know if that's an Adobe SW item or has something to do with how Altium designs its PDFs, but it would be WONDERFUL to be able to select and copy information from that pop-up.
