Rotate single document before saving/combining multipage pdf
When combining files/multiple pages into single pdf file, some pages maybe oriented horizontal vs vertical. It would be nice to be able to rotate all the pages to the same orientation prior to binding all the files.
Just a thought. This feature maybe in the program already and I just don't see it. I know you can do it from a single page, this is just to skip that step of doing it in one aspect of the program and saving then doing the 2nd combine step. Just a though1 voteHi
Thanks for your feedback
You can achieve this by first creating the PDF and then go to Tools > Organize pages and then rotate the pages you want. Thanks

"Automatically install update" preference not working
Trying to set the "updater" preference in Adobe Acrobat on Mac behaves as follows:
- it seems to be on by default
- one can try to turn it off. This step calls for an admin password.
- assuming one gives a correct admin password, the pop-up window closes and it appears that the preference has been changed
- opening the preference panel again shows that the preference has not been changed; "automatically install updates" is still onThis error is occurring with both Acrobat Pro DC 2018 and Acrobat Pro 2017. Base O/S is MacOSX 10.12. O/S and Acrobat are at latest patch levels.

I PAY $190.68 YEARLY AND CANNOT OPEN MORE THAN DOCUMENT WITHOUT ADOBE CRASHING! This sucks.
Seriously, Adobe, why don't you work on your product stability? I bought my Acrobat DC subscription a few years ago and never questioned it until this point. Now, since Windows Creators Update, I've been toying with using Edge for my PDF purposes. So far, it's been better than my Adobe experience. In Acrobat Pro DC, when I need to EDIT/compare a document, I cannot open more than one PDF file at a time without the software crashing. Furthermore, it won't even provide the name of the document I'm working on in my TAB. See attached screenshot as evidence.
Our company's yearly renewal comes due next month, in April. I am seriously considering abandoning my Adobe subscription in favor of simply using Microsoft.

Acrobat taskbar icon uses Photoshop icon
In Windows 10, Acrobat DC's taskbar and start menu shortcut icons randomly switch to using the Photoshop icon. Acrobat DC is the only program that exhibits this problem. The only cure is to follow one of the methods shown in this 2013 forum post: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1113673. Please fix this bug, which still exists in 2017!

Acrobat keeps closing for no reason and it is NOT autosaving my files
Acrobat keeps closing for no reason and it is NOT autosaving my files.I already pay a subscription fee every month and you want ANOTHER $80 to help me. I didn't choose to close the program I didn't have a choice and charging $80 for something that is YOUR fault is daylight robbery
3 votesApologies for the trouble, can you provide the Acrobat version you are using. Also does Acrobat quits with a crash? if yes kindly provide the crash logs.

Customize Adobe Sign Emails
We would like to be able to send more customized emails to our customers instead of the template Adobe Sign Email. Such as, instead of an automatic email being send out that reads "your agreement has been cancelled" we would like to edit this email to read "your agreement has been rejected".

Bug: export to Word is corrupt (exported files cannot be 'compared').
Prior to mid December 2016 it was possible to create a file in Indesign, export it to Acrobat, export it from Acrobat to Word and then compare it in Microsoft Word (Office 365) with another file that has been subjected to the same workflow.
Since some stage in 2017 an incompatibility was introduced and this workflow ceased to work.
I have tested this workflow by comparing the Word files produced in Deltaview/Workshare and the comparisons are unstable and unusable, so the problem is not just with Microsoft Word's comparison engine (which works fine with files created within Word).
The issue manifests itself under Windows 10 and MacOS High Sierra, it also manifests itself with a text file exported from Photoshop, to Acrobat and then through to Word. The comparison file produced by Word is wildly inaccurate (two different files are stated not to have any differences between them, or all the text is shown as having been altered when that is not the case) and the files are extremely unstable (sometimes being reported as having 0KB and sometimes reaching over a GB).
As the comparison function is Acrobat will not produce a word-for-word redline, this bug is a really serious problem when a long text book is produced in Indesign and tables of statutes and indexes are produced by the publisher outside Indesign.
I can supply full details and sample files on request (and have spent many hours looking into this both on my own and with Adobe technical support).
Can Adobe please fix this as matter of urgency.

Wen I try to do the same with my gmail account it sais it is not possible to compose the email.

"Set Page Boxes" wrong preview for TrimBox
- Open PDF
- Open Set Page Boxes - TrimBox
- Add a value in "Top", "Bottom", "Left" and "Right": For all sides you can see grey guides in your document. Expect for the right side. The right guideline is somewhere outside the document.
I have to use this really often so it's quite annoying not to see where the guideline is placed. That means a lot of time for "trying".
3 votesHi Sarah
I tried using it myself and the guidelines are visible for all four sides. Can you please share some files where you see this happening (and also a screenshot of the issue so that I can be sure we are on the same page).
This would help us investigate the issue faster.Regards

Emailing completed webforms - can't do it - why bother?
I created a nice form, loaded it to the web, tested it and when I clicked the "Submit" button - nada! Researched, tried other methods and when I finally called support, I was told that Acrobat DC can't/won't email completed pdf forms from the web! But maybe it would work if I could find someone who could code the javascript for me. So I found the javascript (I can do some coding) and this.maildoc() doesn't work.
Why bother with this? It was a huge waste of time. There are on-line pdf form companies that charge less and claim to offer emailed form results. I'll try them. Small comfort, at least I didn't pay for this.

Adobe acrobat authentication issue
I am in adobe acrobat signed in under my account, but adobe is still asking me to sign in upper right hand corner. Clicked and signed in 5 times trying to authenticate to be able to sign a document. Each time it says that I am signed in to my account, but the widget still says sign in instead of my name and my saved signature is not there

You just keep making it harder
Everytime you make an update you make it harder for me to find my edit document button. I just opened one and absolutely none of the icons or right click provides me with edit. Finally I find if I highlight text THEN hit right click I get the menu that allows me to edit. Why take down the one in the header and make me have to do additional steps (highlighting) to be able to edit. I hate when companies adopt the Microsoft culture of calling "improvements" just moving essential commands and options around and saying it's new. At least you didn't do what else they do by renaming basic functions so you don't even know how to edit. ANNOYING!

Comments and Annotations need marching ants
In previous versions of Acrobat, it was a LOT easier to see which comment on a page was selected. There sue to be marching ants. Now, there is just a thin blue line that doesn't march. Please bring back the marching ants so it's easier to see what is selected. Our eyes aren't getting any younger!
