  2. When extracting pages from a multiple-page pdf, change the default folder from "user" to "documents". That saves several clicks.

    Thanks for bringing this issue to our notice. Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future.

  3. Printed an envelope a month ago, but system then decided that was my default. I print letters daily but have to change out from #10 envelope every time. No way to change default; how about a button to do so?

  4. Current Behaviour - If a PDF document has a title present in the “Title” document property then the default initial view of Acrobat Reader and Acrobat PRO is set to "File Name" rather than the "Document Title".

    Impact - Acrobat's Accessibility Checks report the "Title" error while the title is already there. This requires the "Initial View" setting to be changed on each PDF manually.

    Desired Behaviour - Set the “Initial View” to “Document Title” as default when a PDF is opened on Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat DC Pro.

  5. Need a feature that allows you to change the default "Save As" location. This is available in Microsoft Word, but not in Adobe.

  6. I work in InDesign. I create the form and place the various fields. When I export to interactive PDF, the default text field properties include "Check spelling" = yes. I have to edit all the text fields to change "Check spelling" = no. Please allow default text field properties to be changed GLOBALLY and PERMANENTLY.

  7. Request to Default selection as “Actual Size" as a constant selection where any time the [CTRL+P] is selected the user is not required to select or confirm the setting. The user is currently required to confirm as another setting remains based on the last print job. To have a default to Print as "Actual Size" is used almost all the time in the enterprise.

  8. There needs to be an option to change the default text color when adding text to a PDF using "Edit" > "Add Text" option. I routinely add text in red to show what I am typing is my own text on a PDF. I do see that I have the ability to change the default text color for the "Type Text" option, however that is a different text box option that I do not like to use. I prefer the "Add Text" feature using the "Edit" option, as this option has overall better formatting for what I am trying to…

  9. When creating a pdf from a Word file, it would be useful to be able to set the default zoom of the file.
    From posts on other platforms, it appears that some get random default zooms on their files.

  10. There needs to be an option to change the default option from "sign in order" to "sign in any order".

    In our operational workflows we never use the sign in order function and have to constantly change it before sending out a request for signatures. If this step is missed we have to resend the entire document as it is not allowed to be edited after the fact. This is fine but give us the option to make "complete in any order" by default.

  11. Installation of Adobe Add-in for Send & Track should not be automatic. It blocks the email signature of the user in Outlook 2013 from appearing when he/she wants to send a PDF by email directly from Adobe or other program which uses the Outlook API

  12. I am often routing contracts prepared by another employee for signatures. When I use 'Request E-signatures', Adobe automatically detects form fields, including fields that have already been completed and should not be edited by any of the signers.

    Currently, I have to right-click on each form field and manually change 'Assigned To' from the dropdown list to myself/(prefill). Why is there not an option to set a default for the 'Assigned To' field or allow users to change multiple form fields simultaneously?

  13. Microsoft Edge overwrites the default pdf program no matter how many times you change it back. You cannot even delete Edge to get it to stop doing it. Microsoft denied that it is possible for their program to change my default app without my permission when I contacted their tech support. Adobe should sue Microsoft. This is very frustrating, especially when you paid for the program and Microsoft can do this without your permission.

  14. When selecting a form field and want to use it for the default, it doesn't allow for the existing decimal place. So, I have to go back and change every number field to eliminate the two decimal default. Also, why can't we just have the default be without any decimals?

  15. When I attempt:
    to add text to a PDF
    select multiple pages to delete from or move within a pdf
    search for words within a pdf
    I get the following error message:
    "Exception Processing Message 0xc0000139 - unexpected parameters"
    the title on the error box is "Windows - Entry Point Not Found"

  16. I want PDFs to open in "Two-Up, Fit Page" by default, except when there's only 1 page in the doc, in which I want the single page to appear centered instead of on the far left and zoomed to fit a non-existent 2nd page. There should be an option for this.

  18. When you start Adobe Acrobat Pro without local adminstrative rights a error message appears.(see attachment)
    We identified the corresponding command line with procmon: "C:\Windows\System32\msiexec.exe" /i {AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-7760-0C0F074E4100} REINSTALLMODE=omus DISABLEFIUCHECK=1 IGNOREAAM=1 REPAIRFROMAPP=1 INSTALLUWPAPP=1 /qn"

    We deployed the "Creative Cloud Client" as a "Self-Serivce-Packages", so licensed Users can install and use adobe products without local administrative rights.

    Could you please check why msiexec.exe is called with every program start? We get a lot of tickets from users complaining about this error message and your support wasnt a help at all.

  19. White text on a default white background in PDF reflow mode is not visible and the option to change color choices in accessibility preferences does not yield consistent results for viewing all text within a PDF in reflow.

  20. The Select Tool is the default tool. I never use it and have never seen a need to use it. It makes the screen turn blue and wants to select things instead of letting me drag and move around the page to review large documents. I always have to stop what I'm doing and switch to the hand tool. I am opening and managing easily over 100 PDFs a day and having to switch at every new document is frustrating and time consuming.     You can make the hand tool the default option by trying:
    1)Look under Preferences> Acessibility
    2)Uncheck "Always display the keyboard selection
    3)Then select the Hand Tool.
    4)Close the program
    5)The Hand tool will now be default
