1. Text-to-speech functionality does not work with the Apple OS version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, as in previous versions

   It has been important in my practice to review reports and multitask. The Apple OS version of Adobe Acrobat is not compatible with the system-wide keystroke of option+s, which activates text-to-speech. This essential function works with MS Office 365 and other third-party apps. Secondly, the rate of speech (even after changing the preferences) is too rapid for use. Clearly, the options of reading the whole page or whole document are limitations. I work with patients who have auditory processing problems, and I can imagine that this function makes some document reading inaccessible. The current configuration is probably an upgrade for Windows® users, but inefficient for Apple® users. The current tag routine consumes time and is not efficient as selecting text and listening to the text. Please consider adding an option to disable the Adobe text-to-speech function, similar to Microsoft Office so that one can use the Apple text-to-speech function. 4. Formatting Issues when Editing

   In the past few weeks, I have had issues editing PDF's. Now, this is something I do regularly but this issue has just started to happen.
   I get multiple editing boxes overlaying each other and images, If i am editing text the text box may be overlapped with other text box/es.
   They are sorted of layered but only part of each box is editable, therefore I really cant edit anything withour mucking up the formatting of the whole document. These docs are produced by me and saved as PDF's but when I need to edit to update etc it is a nightmare and virtually impossible. Any ideas??

5. Allow documents to be added after first screen. Return option to delete document.

   You select "Send for Signature," add the email address, message contents, and files, then click next. Once you have passed this area, you are unable to add any more files. My company is creating leases and sometimes we will miss an addendum. Imagine completing 20-50 pages of a lease only to find you must restart the whole thing because you forgot to add a pet addendum. Believe it or not, it can be soul crushing.

   The one saving grace was being able to delete these failed documents. Recently this feature has been changed to a "Hide" function. Instead of replacing the delete feature, why not add it in addition?

   We want to be able to know the document has been deleted so as to avoid the wrong documents being signed. It's easiest when we can delete it and only have to correct document exist. This not only serves as help in organizing, but also it allows us the peace of mind to know we've done everything to ensure that the right document has been sent. Is there an option to delete hidden files? Can we at least opt into using Hide instead of Delete? We would prefer the delete feature.

6. Option in Preferences - when a pdf is created with attachments - autodetect & change default opening view property

   Please add a default option in Preferences that auto detects that a created pdf has attachments and sets the opening property to show attachments...

   Same for bookmarks... If the native record has bookmarks for sections, have a property option to auto populate bookmarks in the pdf and set default property to open showing bookmarks

   Instead of a default property to either show attachments or bookmarks upon opening, create an option to show both bookmarks and attachments contemporaneous upon opening, if the native document has attachments and bookmarks.

8. Accessibility Enhancement

   List labels are rarely get tagged which make the tagging extremely tedious. Tables, underlines, links always leave pathing tags which need to be manually removed from the content, again making the process of creating accessible files extremely tedious. There has got to be a better way.

11. Infopanel or Window in Acrobat

    I´m getting a lot of PDFs and often i have to figure out the how big the pictures or forms are in these PDFs. And no - they dont have any Metadata in.
    So my simple wish is to have a info window just like in Photoshop or InDesign where you can simply see the dimensions of picture or a frame.

12. Zoom + and - missing from the toolbar, one more layer of complexity to get to

    On the top toolbar there's a magnifying glass with a + in it, that then opens up another menu for + and -. This is an extra step, bring back the + and the - on the toolbar!

13. Bookmarks are opening to the page after the set destination. Action item set correctly

    I am often having an issue of bookmarks going to the page after the set destination. I have checked the bookmark properties and they are correct.

    The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

16. Bug - Encryption can be Removed from a PDF by Printing to PDF

    There is a bug in Acrobat Pro DC that allows people to print encrypted secure pdf files to pdf, and the new pdf that is produced has no security or encryption.

    After creating a pdf from a Word doc, I secure it with certificate or password security using a policy. Under Permissions for the policy, I chose Printing Allowed: High Resolution and Changes Allowed: None. I also uncheck enable text access for screen readers. I save the pdf and close it. I then reopen the pdf and check Document Properties, which state that printing in Allowed and everything else is Not Allowed. I then Print to PDF, and it prints a perfect PDF file with no encryption or security. I can then go to edit PDF and am able to edit all text. Occasionally it does not print and gives me a message stating that the secure pdf cannot be re-distilled, but when I try again it will print a new pdf with no security or encryption. I have tested this on about 25 PDF files and continue to get the same result. I created most of the secure pdf files myself with Acrobat DC Pro minutes before I testing the Print to PDF function. I also tested files that were created with Acrobat XI Pro 5 years ago and got the same result. I then found two secure pdf files on the internet, tested those, and got the same result. I have been using Acrobat Pro software for about 11 years (Acrobat Pro 9, X, and XI). In this past, it was not possible to remove encryption by printing to PDF, so I am assuming that this is a bug.

    I have tested this on two operating systems - Windows 7 and 9.

17. Export to Excel

    I tried to export a PDF to Excel in order to capture and manipulate the data without having to retype it. When I did so, the resulting Excel document was unreadable and the formatting was off. I have several files like this that I need to extract the data from. I have Acrobat Pro for Mac. I'm using osSierra version 10.12.6. Please see the attached PDF and resulting Excel output file.

    The attached PDF is already an OCRed file whose output is incorrect. Try to copy and paste the text from the PDF file. It contains garbage values.

    Please provide non-OCRed file for this issue.

18. Bug - PDFMaker Office Addin converting italic font to italic bold

    Using the "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" to convert a word document to pdf. If the font is Georgia and is set to italics, when the pdf is viewed in Chrome it shows the italic text as bold. When viewed using Acrobat or Reader, the font appears correct. It does not happen when using any other pdf converter (i.e. office's built-in converter) so it appears to be limited to the PDFMaker tool.

    I have replicated this on multiple Windows 10 and Windows 7 computers, and I am using Office 365. This only appears to happen using Georgia font, which is the only font I am able to use for my work documents.

    Attachment is a test file that I have converted using PDFMaker (This is a test.pdf). Only the bottom two lines are bold, but if viewed in Chrome the non-bold italic line also appears as bold. The second attachment is the same file but converted with another converter (This is a test2.pdf). This pdf renders correctly in Chrome.

20. Unable to print 11x17 files

    Unable to print 11x17 pages with construction drawings on them in adobe standard. File never makes it to the printer queue and the transfer bar never makes it beyond 0%. No error messages occur. file simply vanishes
