  1. I need to make transparent buttons with HTML links in most of my documents. Someone forgot to program this in the DC version.
Create a square button and set the line and fill to transparent. Please fix! It is causing a host of issues for us.

  2. I use annotated pdfs all day every day to get client edits and apply them in InDesign. I can't tell you (but I will attempt to try) how maddening it is to simply copy text from a comment box to paste into InDesign. Why can I not simply select the text?! I have to double click on the text that I want to copy, which opens a white box around the text. If I then double click again to select the text (without moving the cursor) it closes the box without copying the text! Instead of simply selecting the text…

  3. I often deal with PDFs with hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of edits. The Comments panel in Acrobat DC includes way too much blank space, including a title line ("Strikethrough Text", "Highlighted Text", etc.) and needlessly provides a default "Type your reply..." area for every comment. This isn't Facebook (meaning, replies aren't always necessary). Please provide preferences that allow comments to appear in more compact form, as they did with Acrobat X or Acrobat 11.

  4. PDF's when opened will sometimes crash the whole Adobe Acrobat Pro program. They open afterward, but the event viewer shows a fatal error of some kind. I copied four of these into the attached text document.

Thank you for reporting the issue. We regret you facing inconvenience.

We would need more details on steps to reproduce the issue. And do you experience it on Win or MAC or both.

Share the version of acrobat you are using. You can do so using the link -https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

And also share the test PDF file using forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 for us to investigate further.

  6. For the production of a robot, I need it to use hotkeys to get into menu's in Adobe acrobat. I got everything to work in English and Dutch languages. But when I want to access the same menu's with a combination of ALT and the desired letters (they differ per language offcourse), in French; All of a sudden he does not get past ALT+S (for accessabilité, which is accessability in French).

I think there must be a bug hidden somewhere.

  10. Please activate forward-button (without any additional key) instead of help button to be continued with the return-key – so you can easy save the settings of the new link.
At the moment the return-key opens the help file.

  15. My idea is that Adobe permit me to download Adobe acrobat to my chromebook. I cannot do some things - like apply for passport pages - without Adobe and always - every time I try to download, or ignite or turn on this feature - I get to go through all the steps and then: Access Denied, or Unable to download because this computer is a chromebook or wrong password.

  19. I cannot permanently close the tool pane. There is no "Open Tools Pane for Each Document" option to turn off in Edit >> Preferences >> Documents. When I manually close the tool pane with a document open, close the document and reopen it, the tool pane doesn't "stick" closed. It's open again. I am rarely, if ever, going to use anything in the tool pane. It's large and annoying. I don't want to see it every time I open a document. How do I get the tool pane to go away without having to manually close it with every document…

  20. Hello Adobe Engineering Team,

In prior versions of Adobe, when I opened a document and right-clicked on it to rotate it to the proper orientation, the Save option appeared to allow me to quickly save the changed orientation.

Latest version of Adobe requires me to click on Organize pages feature, select the pages, click the rotate buttons to orient the pages correctly, then Save option appears.

There are a lot more steps needed in latest version of Adobe to quickly change a PDF document's orientation than in prior versions.

It would be nice to allow users to save a PDF…
