  2. Every pdf document I send to my MFD (Canon) does not automatically print. It sends a message to pick paper size because it's a custom size. However, it is NEVER a custom size, it's always 8-1/2 x 11. All the settings in my document say to print to 8-1/2 x 11, I've tried shrink and fit and still, I keep getting the message at the printer and have to choose 8-1/2 x 11. Really annoying.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reporting this issue. Please provide the following details:
    1. Printer driver and model number.
    2. Sample document on which you are experiencing this issue.
    3. Screenshot of print dialog window and Properties window.
    3.1 Open any document and click print
    3.2 Take screenshot
    3.3 Click Properties button next to printers list
    3.4 Take screenshot
    4. Have you tried with different printer?
    5. Have you tried printing to PDF using Adobe PDF printer?

  3. I am trying to print a shipping label from a Click and Ship Label through eBay and they print out the USPS but not a **** bit of information. I even tried other browsers to see if that would help but not a **** bit of difference.

  6. I created a simple form with Acrobat DC. I marked as multiple select and in preview selected 2 items with control + click. The preflight syntax checker indicates the /V key as having a bad value. With reportlab I can create choices with /DV having multiple values. Those are also regarded as an error.

  7. on Editing PDF and Putting Each Object in Layers (text boxes...squares..pictures...etc.... )and can be Grouped as in Adobe Photoshop and illustrator

  10. Hi, can you create an option to choose which format to choose by default using the "Save file as" command. Because I often have to export a jpeg format and have a quick button for the "Save file as", but every time I have the drop-down menu in the dialog I choose the JPEG format. Just add an option to choose the default format when using the option, so anyone can use it for most export formats. Or just remember the last selected format every time you use "Save file as

  11. This is not about Adobe Reader it is about Adobe Digital Edition. As there is no entry for ADE I chose the first one on the list and hope that a category for the ADE is created.

    The problem is that Adobe Digital Edition is a Digital Reader and that you can't actually read your books through loss of access to the file or it appears that way. I assumed it was this as I cannot access your file either so assumed there would be nothing wrong with that file. I am using it through my council library membership which…

  12. Currently have Adobe Acrobat installed on my university machine and am using Word 2013 to compile my thesis chapters and figures (.emf and .png files). However when I either use the ‘create pdf’ ribbon option using press quality settings (adjusted to a4 paper size) I end up with a .pdf with 8.5 x 11 in size. This happens also when printing via Adobe PDF option through word.

  13. When you create a form field with Date validation, the default error message in Spanish has a typo. For example, if I set the custom date format to be "dd/mm/yyyy", there is a space missing. See attachment.

    Bug: "El formato debe coincidirdd/mm/yyyy"
    What it should read: "El formato debe coincidir dd/mm/yyyy" (notice the space after "coincidir")

    This happens on Acrobat for MacOS, only in Spanish.

    With the release of Acrobat on 2nd Oct, 2018, this issue has been addressed.

    If your product is not already updated, you can manually do so from within the product. Click on the menu Help→ Check for updates.

  15. On my Service Agreement document, I always Cc my assistant and always change the message that goes with it - is I possible to have these individualised common inputs programmed to the dindividual document?

  16. Apparently not a new request/idea. But, many of us use the same tools on most of our documents, but whenever we close the window, all the sidebars get closed, and have to be reopened again, often requiring 2 clicks or more to get back to tools we were just using seconds ago. I am specifically needing the page thumbnails to nearly always be open. It does seem as if each document can remember this setting after it has been open, at least for a while, but new docs open with the sidebars closed? I have not found a setting in…

  20. In prior Adobe Acrobat versions scanned pages could easily be inserted into an existing file as a new first page. or between any two previously existing pages. That was excellent as I always add pages to the top of existing documents. That feature appears to have been stupidly eliminated. I want the old Adobe!

    This functionality is still there. You can insert pages at any location you want. Follow the steps:
    1. Open any file in Acrobat
    2. Go to Organize Pages app
    3. Click on “Insert → From Scanner” option
    4. Select options to scan and click scan button
    5. A dialog will come asking where to insert scanned pages. Now you can select any option suites you.

    Also, at step 3 you can hover around pages where you want to add scanned pages, there will be a “+” button. Clicking it will add pages at that location only.
