  1. Instead of scrolling back and forth (e.g. in a scientific paper), one can have a small preview of the figure, referenced in text from another page, to follow with the current page discussion.
    This can show on the side of the screen as to not bother hiding the text being read.
    By reference I mean a link embedded in the fig mention. Many papers do so. If that is not available then you can type the figure label to search and bring it.

  2. Adobe Pro Individual (1 app 1 installation use 1-2 times a week) is 2 times as expensive as microsoft office business suite (7 apps 5 installations use most days) and Adobe causes double the problems.
    I understand your money hungry, but if you cannot provide the extremely expensive subscription service I will cancel and move to an alternative.
    Some of which for a lifetime license are less than half the price for a one year subscription from you

  3. save the rulers you have worked on
    why can't the rulers be saved. i can't believe that the program doesn't even do this. every time i open the file, i have to plot the rulers i need all over again. it can take hours sometimes and i leave the file open and the computer running if i have to walk away from it as a result. waste of time and effort.rulers are especially useful for construction drawings and they take eye gouging time to plot properly. i'm very certain those who work with the rulers would agree. i love adobe…

  4. Acrobat Crashs if I try to detect the text of this document. Every other document works.

  5. If a document has highlights, comments and notes to replace text it is clear the document needs to be saved in order to retain those comments. Why then, if you accidentally close this document is there no prompt "do you want to save your changes"? As soon as a document has been commented on/changed, there should be a prompt like this. If there has been no change, no prompt is needed.

  6. Hello,
    Concerning the floating black tool bar that shows up when text is selected, it currently has only 5 functions (Highlight, Underline, Strike through, Copy & Edit text-images).
    My requests:
    1. Kindly make it customizable, so that users can add whatever buttons they like.
    2. Especially, make it such that users can add anything from 3-5 highlighters of different colors, so that I will not have to go through the tedious task of changing the color of the highlighter each time I want it changed.

  8. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Build: 20.6.20042.371807) on a mac OS 10.12.6

    If I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to zoom on a PDF, Acrobat freezes. It does not freeze when using the mouse scroll wheel to scroll through pages, nor does it freeze if I click the + button to zoom. Only freezes when using the mouse scroll wheel to zoom.

    Any ideas how to fix this?

  9. Add a slider to each section (completed agreements, agreements out for signature, etc.), so the user can easily scroll through them. Having to use the mouse scroll wheel is inconvenient compared to a slider.

    When I opened the screen of completed agreements, I only saw the most recent ones. There is no way to know how many there are or to easily scroll through them.

    This interface could be easily improved by adding a slider to the right of the screen. Not everyone has a mouse with a scroll wheel, and even if they do, it doesn't work as well…

  10. I am running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.021.20061 on a MacBook Pro with Catalina version 10.15.04. In the Adobe Acrobat preferences I have autosave set to every 5 minutes. However, when Adobe Acrobat decided to restart for me to agree to some updated user terms all my comments on the document disappeared. From a quick google search it is clear that this is a common problem and that the autosave feature is not working, or at least only occasionally.

    I’m a Independent Contractor for the Courts. I solely work from my iPad. IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR ALL ADOBE APPS (especially adobe sign), TO HAVE ‘ONCE DRIVE’ INTEGRATION. This would greatly help with document uploads and filing,

  12. It would be great to have an easy way to dump a file of multiple photos into Acrobat and create a PDF photo contact sheet. And be able to select how many photos on each page 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 etc per page

  13. Users should be able to select how many pages are scanned for recognizable text in Action Wizard or when OCRing multiple documents.

    Performing OCR and recognizing text on a single document gives the user the option to select how many pages they want to OCR. Action Wizard and performing OCR on multiple documents removes the ability to select how many pages are scanned. I have several thousand documents that I'm only interested in performing OCR on the first page.

    How is this not a thing?

  15. There should be no limit for purchasing licenses each month. As a system admin, it takes time and effort to go through chat support to have additional licenses purchased instead of being able to do it yourself. This is definitely a must for every system administrator. Plus, I'm not comfortable with the idea of the support team of being able to purchase on behalf of the company.

  16. Drop down boxes work correctly when completed on Windows. Do not display once completed on a Mac and then reopened in Windows, instead displays first item in list.

  17. POSSIBLE BUG

    This was originally brought to my attention by my print vendor, who asked that I correct the overprint and resubmit the file for offset print. As I preflight all my files, I was caught off guard. But on re-inspection I could see the overprint issue.

    During preflight process of the InDesign PDF file, a pattern graphic is highlighted as overprinting when selecting Output Preview: Colour Warning: Show Overprinting.

  18. On MAC platform, Print to Adobe PDF and Save as Adobe PDF do not work to change filled forms into forms without fill. This option is available on IBM platform. This is a major drawback for me and a huge market of legal professionals---we have to use Adobe PDF fillable forms created by courts--and the forms are locked so we can't sign them or edit them unless we can save them to a nonfillable format.   19. Hi,

    I am using the Adobe scan app and the scans are uploaded to document cloud. I can see and open the files from within Acrobat Pro 2017 in the Document Cloud section. However, when I click on the "Adobe Scan" category under file lists, it tells me that this folder is empty. But shouldn't the Adobe Scan files be shown here? This seems like a bug to me.

  20. On the moment I add a digitally signature, I need to save the document. It is only possible, on this point, to save the document locally. It would be great if I could save it then in the cloud, so I don't need to save the document locally first.
