1. If you do not tell me how to stop ALL OF THE POP ups everytime I just want to print a document I am going to stop using Adobe

   remove the pop ups and the little black boxes and move the AI box which I disabled from beside the X and stop asking if I want to store private information in your companies cloud because I DON'T!

2. Move navigation panel back to left side

   Moving the Navigation panel to the right side makes it extremely difficult to use. Since (in English at least) we naturally read form left to right, moving navigation to the right means that once I think I have found the section I need I have to shift my gaze all the way to the other side of the screen to start reading it and confirm. This is a small difference in isolation, but the extra eye fatigue adds up quickly. It is just very counterintuitive to try and put the organizational structure of the document on the right side. This change was a bit of a "reverse Apple". Swing and a miss. Please move the navigation panel back to the left or at the very least give us the option to move it back there manually. Until that happens I cannot and will not use the new Acrobat UI for my work flow. This has annoyed me enough to make an account to post this feedback.

3. Killing work flow

   Updates are killing work flow. It took me calling in to find out how to undo what the automatic updates changed. I get that change is a part of any program's life, but when your change interrupts the ability to smoothly work within the program, for no other reason than 'change is good', you are failing your customers. If you are going to continue to force change (bad changes at that) on your customers, get ready to loose them to 3rd party programs.

   If change is required, add in a way that we can modify to keep what we need while (trying) to enjoy your updates.

4. Print to PDF Error .log file

   When printing to Adobe PDF the Microsoft program font's do not match with Adobe and I get a .log file instead of a PDF. The software cannot read the .log file and we cannot view the document. This started when Microsoft made the new default font Aptos. and Adobe doesn't have this font or doesn't recognize it.

   In order to print to Adobe PDF on Microsoft products, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. we have to change the print properties to UNCHECK "rely on system fonts only, do not use document fonts" which is a hack I found online from someone's blog.

   Please resolve the issue and provide information about updates. This issue is really annoying.

   Please add the Aptos font to your system ASAP.

   Disable Generative AI. Aside from the disruptive UX/UI aspect of how Gen AI is being pushed onto users, there is also the fact that a number of your users (myself included) are literally not allowed to use Gen AI in our work. Furthermore, surely Adobe is aware that there are a number of use cases where PDFs very often represent the most sensitive, private and/or confidential documents that people use and work with. Think court documents, legal and contractual agreements, government documents. As a result the last thing users in these contexts want is the sense that Adobe is foisting Gen AI onto them - and potentially Gen AI is already consuming these most sensitive and confidential of all documents! From my perspective this is a disastrous decision by Adobe that needs to be rectified asap.

6. Update is not great. What is happening?

   Moving between document tabs: why are my page up/down, and zoom in/out features at the very bottom corner... the further possible place from where my cursor will be?

7. Bug: A comment containing only a space character cannot be posted

   When adding a comment that contains only a space character, the comment cannot be posted. This means that it is impossible to mark up changes that involve inserting a space, or replacing another character with a space in an 'import PDF comments' (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/indesign/using/import-pdf-comments.html) workflow in InDesign.

8. Fixed position of bookmarks to right side of page

   The engineers for New Adobe forgot that people don't just use Adobe to create and manipulate documents -- the other half of the equation is that the documents are also going to be READ. This New Adobe puts the bookmarks on the right side of the page with no option to switch the view to how people actually read which is left to right. SO FRUSTRATING. I won't be able to use New Adobe ever if you leave it this way.

9. Horrible new look

   Seriously...in the middle of working I get slapped with a "new" look on my PDFs! ALL my customized toolbars are gone! No more controls at the top...they are magically and permanently moved to the right side...optional tools on the left.... nothing is where I WANT IT!!! JUST...WHY?!?!?!?!?! Why fix something that wasn't broken? Why not leave it up to the user to have more control of the interface? Why be like Microsoft? By the way, the "disable new acrobat" is useless and only wants me to restart the program only to have some pop up bar show up at the top wanting me to restart AGAIN to enable some AI thing...AHHH. I use this program EVERYDAY, all day and you guys messed it up! It's like you are TRYING to **** off all your users. But then again, this is what happens when you corner the market and have a monopoly...no competition and the little guy gets screwed because we have no choice. SHAME on you guys, give us the option to move our tool bars around and to go back to the classic look!

11. Can't disable the new acrobat- Crashes everytime

    Acrobat keeps crashing when I try to disable the New Acrobat and I can't get anything done. The AI bar is annoying. Can't disable it either. Need a fix! I prefer the Classic since I use Enfocus Pitstop and can't even get them in a toolbar. Please fix this problem. It's a frustrating bug/glitch!

12. AI Beta Feedback

    General User Feedback

    1. There needs to be a direct feedback button. The AI feature is beta and it is too difficult to provide quick feedback. I had to search, chat, and end up in the general feeback area. If you are going to test something beta, make a dedicated feedback button/link direct in the AI box.

    2. This was released way to early, the AI can't help with what it labels scanned documents or images. That is most pdfs already. Second, I have tested this with first generation pdfs and the AI will still say it is incapable. Almost 9 out of 10 documents were unusable. It is not an appropriate beta test when the beta testers can't test. Very high frustration levels that I will likely abandon its use until a non-beta version is released.

    3. The idea was very exciting, in my line of work being able to search and pull out key bits of information from large documents is a huge time saver. The function (when it actually worked) of pulling out information and then having a superscript hyperlink so I could double check it in the document itself is a great idea.

    Bottom line - great idea that was released generally for testing way too early and causes lots of frustration because it is not usable for almost all documents.

14. New Interface

    Your update is horrible. I get the wanting to stay new but if you have a competant program why mess with it? I use this in the design field and the only thing the update has done is add time to each task.

    I'm about over it. I have been using this program since 2012 and cannot stand the updates to the point That I try to avoid the program. Before the update, you could select the tool, use it and then you would have to click on it again to use it. Now I am constant double clicking / triple clicking just to get out of the tool. And what is with the select text option / pan button? What idiot thought it would be a good idea to click on a tool and it give you two options so the user has to decide every single time. Whoever decided to come up with this update must of been bored or have never used the program before. Extremely dissapointed.

15. ZUGFeRD 2.1 validation failed

    Hello,

    We have a PDF file that seems to be ZUGFeRD compliant according to the ZUGFeRD Community verification tool (ZUV - https://www.zugferd-community.net/en/open_community/validation) but when trying to validate this PDF file using the Adobe Acrobat Preflight tool there is an error message that states the XMP data is not valid.
    I am attaching the sample file, a report from the ZUV validator, and a screenshot from the Preflight tool.

17. Customization for all default shortcut icons

    It makes no sense that customizing the tool bar is limited in that the default tools can't be deleted or even moved lower. Same goes for the side panel. Same goes for the navigation bar. Everyone uses the product differently, requiring/preferring widely varied views and tools. I don't see why adobe wouldn't provide full customization in order to better serve every user. Some of the default icons are ones I will absolutely never click on but I have no choice but to have and keep them in the prime and easiest to access locations on the page.

18. Acrobat running extremely slow

    It appears you don’t respond to the various other posts about the same issue and haven’t addressed the problem in updates so I’m posting a new bug report here. Cannot believe how slow this programme is on my machine and it has been the same for months. Running Mac mini with Sonoma 14.2.1.

19. filename in header is gone

    On all previous versions, the full filename was visible in the header, including whether the doc was secured or not. Now it is truncated in a little tab. I need to be able to view the full filename at a glance, especially to quickly be able to see when documents are (SECURED), which is now hidden.
