2. There is no way to change the default line spacing of 1.2 to a more useful 1 (single spacing).

   Adobe's default line spacing is set to 1.20, which is uncommon in documents. Single spacing (1.0) would be much more useful. Because I can't change the default, I have to continually change the line spacing from 1.2 to 1, which is annoying and time consuming. Please update the software so that the user can select the default line spacing.

3. Can we have the old one back. This is too cumbersome.

   So hard to use and wastes so much of my time looking for things.
   I just need the preview/navigator on the side so I can rotate or crop and a highlighter in the tools and the hand to move the page around. Every time I open a file it defaults back to nothing I can use. Please bring back version 10

4. Editing pictures annoying pop up window

   Here's an idea...whenever trying to edit a picture and this ANNOYING message pops up:
   "The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?"

6. Smooth Inking Support on Windows Tablet PC

   It would be nice if the pen/pencil tool in the comment tool set didn't auto-smooth a fraction of a second after the pen stroke. I fill out some PDF forms on a regular basis which are then emailed. I love maintaining a paperless workflow but a lot of my writing is in small-ish print (approx 10-12pt) at moderately high zoom levels and I find at that scale that if I'm not very careful about stroke speed and technique, the smoothing feature modifies character shapes in bizarre ways. Periods (".") and the dots on i's and j's don't take unless I draw them as a little scribble. I would love to be able to write naturally with fluid strokes that render the way I draw them. This seems to be a very commonly desired feature so I wouldn't be surprised if it's been requested before (I searched and only found one request, which I voted for). A prime example of how I think the inking experience should be can be found in Microsoft OneNote. Pressure-sensitive variability in strokes would be a huge perk as well, bringing the experience even closer to traditional pen-and-paper performance.
   Also, the eraser is buggy in that it takes several attempts to completely erase something I've written; first, second, and third attempts frequently leave little artifacts of the strokes which seems like very odd behavior. It should delete all ink (partial strokes) under the eraser stroke, or at very least delete every stroke (entire strokes) touched by the eraser stroke. I'm using a Microsoft Surface Pro (1st gen) with a subscription to Acrobat DC (version 2017.012.20098); considering the proliferation of these kind of devices I know a lot of people would appreciate these improvements.

7. Digital Signature Good Suggestion!

   When you click the Signature Field to put your Digital Signature there it would be nice after you put it there that you could stretch your signature to make it larger to fit the Signature Line because it's way too small looking when you print the whole document out.

8. Text formatting when copying between text boxes

   Please make an option to keep text formatting, like line feeds, when copying text between two text boxes in same PDF file. At the moment Acrobat DC removes all line feeds when content is copy&pasted which creates a lot of unnecessary "Enter" typing.
   Maybe something like CTRL+SHIFT+V = keep formatting?

   Copying the whole text box is not an options, because the text box is sometimes rotated when pasted to another page.

   Alternative to this request would of course be to make the text box rotatable.

9. Show page numbers in advanced search results

   Problem: When doing an Advanced Search, in order to find out the page number of any given search result, you must hover the pointer over each individual search hit and wait for a popup of its page number to appear.

   Feature request: Show the page numbers on which those hits occur, and preferably in a column to the left of each search hit.

   Reason it's needed: This would save a tremendous amount of time for certain labor intensive tasks, for instance, manually indexing a book. To elaborate a bit: When manually indexing a large book (say, 500 pages), you regularly need to index terms that have a couple hundred occurrences. Currently, when confronted with such a large list, you either (1) have to hover over each entry individually to find its page number or (2) you have to click on the entry and watch where the document jumps to. Neither of these is very efficient. It would be far more efficient if you could just see the page numbers at a glance to the side of the search results. This would let you see at a glance that, for instance, the next 50 occurrences of a given index keyword occur over, say, just 6 consecutive pages. This would let you make short work of a large list--you would just take note of the page the range and move on, thereby saving you the time of having to hover over or click on those 50 entries (or some significant portion thereof).

12. Make Tools easier to access

    In the new version od Adobe Acrobat (Pro DC) I can now longer show the highlight tool and other tools on the top toolbar - I need to click a few times to show the Comment tools. This wastes a lot of time.

13. Allow Adobe Acrobat DC (Enterprise Named License) To Roam With User

    Please make it possible to Roam the User's login from PC to PC in a networked environment. My users sometimes move from desk to desk so it is frustrating to have the users login/logout every time they go to a new PC. We would like them to be able to log in once and then be auto-logged into every other machine they sign on to with their networked login (roaming profile).

14. Custom Toolbars

    It seems ironic that Acrobat Pro DC allows for the creation of custom toolbars, which it states can be shared with other users, when in fact there is no means currently available to share any such user enhancement. It also seems unusual that any user created toolbar is not saved to a file which the user can access so as to allow that toolbar to be instantly recreated by him/her on another machine to which s/he has access. Finally, it is also frustrating that any user-created toolbar is placed on the bottom of the list of available toolbars in the program - when it should be placed at the top, and opened by default whenever the program itself is opened. I sincerely hope you will offer these options in future versions of your software.

16. Show/Hide Toolbars at the top of the screen

    Could you please re-add in the option to select which toolbars you wish to see on the menu bar area of the program? I am sick of having to click out of my document, look for the right option, and then search for what I want to do. I used to have my regularly used toolbars selected at the top of the screen, so I didn't have to go searching for them. This creates a lot of wasted clicks, time and effort on the part of the user. This is by far the worst version of Acrobat I've ever used, and I've been using it so long I can't even remember the first version!

17. Bulk Changing of Font Color in Acrobat Pro XI and DC

    As also expressed in a bug report related to the changing of font colors within a PDF file, I would like to see Acrobat Pro XI and DC have the ability to change the font color of all pages - or a specified range of pages - within a given document, in one pass. Right now this process must be laboriously applied, one page at a time.

    This feature would be analogous to the Crop Tool, for instance, which does provide the ability to apply itself to all or to a range of pages within the specified file.

18. Advanced Location Blocking for Signing in Adobe Sign

    We would like to request an enhancement to the location-based security controls in Adobe Sign.

    At present, Adobe Sign only allows blocking signing activity from China. We request the ability to block additional countries or regions, particularly third countries with a high financial or fraud risk, from which documents cannot be signed. Specifically, we propose:

    • The ability to block multiple countries (not only China)
    • The option to configure a custom allowlist or blocklist of countries
    • Support for risk-based country groups (e.g. high-risk, medium-risk)
    • Application of these rules to all signing methods (web, mobile, integrations)

    Why the Feature Is Needed
    Many organizations operate under strict compliance, fraud prevention, and risk management policies. Allowing documents to be signed from high-risk jurisdictions can expose organizations to:
    • Financial fraud
    • Identity misuse
    • Regulatory non-compliance
    • Increased audit findings

    Modern security standards require granular, configurable controls instead of a single hardcoded country block. By allowing organizations to restrict signing to approved regions, Adobe Sign would better support enterprise security requirements, especially for financial, governmental, and regulated sectors.
    This feature would significantly strengthen Adobe Sign’s security posture and make it more suitable for organizations with advanced compliance and risk requirements.

19. Get rid of buggy AI so the program is useful again

    You can't perform simple tasks in the program anymore. You try to flip multiple pages so they appear in the correct direction and the program closes. You try to save a file and the information needed is blanked out with another bug. You try to use the stupid AI and it takes several minutes with each page.

    I'm working for a large company with brand new computers. There is no issues with the internet connection. This is the only program that continuously crashes trying to do the bare minimum of features.

    This is precisely why no one wants AI. It's the stupid Microsoft Paperclip fiasco once again. No one wants pop ups all the time. No one wants or uses any of these features. All they do is create more issues for the features you want to use. I've been converting documents to Microsoft Word to be able to use basic features. I've been opening documents in Edge just to search for terms. The search feature no longer works at all.

20. Remove all generative AI functions.

    This is not an idea, I just wanted to provide feedback that generative AI tools are an instant turn-off. I would vastly prefer a program that helps fight against the use of generative AI by protecting my documents from AI programs. I would pay more money to use a program that does not feature any kind of AI assistance, AI suggestions, AI integration of any kind.

    We used to live in a world where corporations understood that when a user has a positive experience with a product or service, they will only tell one or two people, but if they have a negative one, they will tell many people. Within that context, I hope you understand that the pop-up ads I keep getting suggesting I upgrade to a version with more generative AI tools and the unremovable AI integration in the layout of the program are the kinds of things that make me want to not only find a permanent replacement for any and all Adobe products (not restricted to Acrobat, which this is about), but also to then enthusiastically recommend that everyone I know stop using Adobe as well and switch to another product. It is my strong belief -- and I very much look forward to this day -- that every tech company that jumped to integrate AI into their products are going to find that this is one of the most negative decisions in their entire corporate history regarding the stability and loyalty of their userbases, and more importantly, their bottom line. I expect some companies, household names, will go out of business due to the generative AI bubble, and as mentioned, that will be a great day. Generative AI instantly makes me think less of any product or service that integrates or uses it, and the only possible solution to this is to at least offer a version of the product that does not integrate AI in any way.

    I am submitting this idea despite the many others that are posted exactly like it in the hopes that each one receives many votes calling it critical and ultimately you are forced to choose between your irrational devotion to bad tech and your consumers.
