  1. If you have the "new" DC Reader...get rid of it.
    it's slow.
    it's choppy.
The phrase "Not Responding" shows up more than a taxi in New York City.
This has got to be the crappiest Adobe product I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
I've told my company's IT department to start looking for something else.
Acrobat Reader DC is pure American ****.

  3. This is a bug report.

    In macOS,
'language' of application and OCR language have to be the same.
    Otherwise it won't work.

    In Windows,
    this bug doesn't exist.

    Details are discussed as following.

  4. Please stop sending out emails that say it is quick and easy to edit a PDF without qualifying what is possible and what the consequences are. I have several clients who now think it is possible to edit PDFs, but the reality is that it is NOT possible to do so professionally.

The end result of clients editing PDFs is that version control is lost from the original files that generated the PDF, artwork needs to be recreated to match the edited PDF and because there appears to be no way of tracking what the client has changed, the clients…

  5. When editing a PDF, I can't select some font styles (e.g. "Futura Condensed" is not available in dropdown).
There was no problem with Acrobat XI.

  6. With version "8" I was able to drag and drop pages from one window to another. Very useful when making changes to large documents. Reprint one corrected page as a single PDF page then drag and drop it into the final document, then delete to old page. I will miss being able to use this technique. It was fast and direct.

  7. Signature Created in Adobe Fill and Sign Mobile App is not available in Desktop Version of Acrobat. Signatures are not getting synced. Even though the Adobe ID is same.

We apologise for the issue you are facing. We are however not able to reproduce it.

Can you please try the following steps and let us know your results:
    1. On Desktop, sign out from Reader/Acrobat
    2. On Mobile, sign in with your Adobe id, create a signature/initials and wait for sometime (for signature to sync). Try to sign a simple PDF document
    3. On Desktop, launch Reader/Acrobat, sign in now, open a PDF and go to Fill &Sign app. Open a simple PDF and try to add signature/initials now. Do you still not see the signature created on mobile? Please let us know

    Thanks
    -amboo

  8. Collaborate Feature not available in Document Cloud Files, it is available in Creative Cloud files. Please include this option

Also there are no Shared PDF option, where in we can store a PDF on cloud and have a team to work on it. Just like in Foxit Or Sharepoint

Thanks for reaching out to us. For supporting collaborative viewing of PDF, Acrobat has come up with Send for Review option via the share button where the PDF is stored on the cloud and the team can add comments which will be visible to other users also with whom the file is shared.

  9. Whenever a digital signature field is added, we do not get the option to duplicate it. This would be very helpful in cases where same person has to sign on multiple pages in a document.
At present, it is giving the option to duplicate across pages, however, it is not working nor it is giving any error message.
Please include this feature in Acrobat, or grey out the duplicate across pages option.

    Hi Ashutosh,

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, this looks like a bug. Can you please let us know which Acrobat version you are on?

    Thanks,

  10. The user interface is quite challenging, because it takes a bit to load each time I want to do something. I may want to edit, create a form, and do drawing markups on a single file.

Please provide an option for me to display all the tools I want to use in a single screen.

User has not responded since long. Assuming resolved.

  12. Pretty self-explanatory. I work with a huge amount of documents and find myself selecting the 100% zoom a lot, which makes it easy to read the document. A quick button to allow this view would make life much easier.

We apologise for the issue you are facing. Are you still having this issue?

After you have signed-in in CC and launch Acrobat, you need to wait for a few seconds before the signing-in process completes in Acrobat.

    Thanks,
    -Amboo

  14. Your customer support chat is IMPOSSIBLE to find, sends me in endless useless circles, and redirects me to useless forum articles having nothing to do with my situation. I actually had to trick your system about my situation to get to support chat. My company pays handsomely for this software, which includes chat support, and should not have to waste time as such. We have over 150 licenses with ya'll and you left us hung out to dry. This is not acceptable customer service. Correct immediately.

  15. I am offered to try Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for 7 days. When I click the try-it-free button in the Adobe letter sent to me, then accept an installation, I find that I have no days left to try! See pictures.

    1. Bug When Converting Font to Outlines
    2. Open PDF and run Convert Fonts to Outlines under Print Production then Preflight
    3. macOS 10.12.5
    4. Fonts should be converted to outlines
    5. Fonts are not converted when opening PDF in Illustrator

PDF files from InDesign do not seem to be affected. It looks like only PDFs created from Illustrator do not convert fonts to outlines.

  18. Add a new “picture” field that would allow inserting a picture type (jpg, jpg, eps, etc.) into the field. The when pasted in allow the user resizing choices such as zooming and cropping, as needed.

I’m surprised no one has asked for this. I’m in construction and I think this would be needed for insurance forms or any field where photo documentation is being collected.

  19. When we (in my company) sign documents with "fill and sign", we get following instant message; " When you save a form with signature or initials you will no longer be able to edit the existing form fields". This is perfect! BUT; this is not true! Even after the document is saved, others can change anything in the document, and even delete the signature!!!?!! Should be possible to choose if others should be able to sign (as multiple signatures often is needed), or if it should be totally locked for any editing after signing!
