Cannot start the image editing application error after 2023 update
Since the 2023 update, I can no longer edit PDF content in Illustrator or Photoshop (puzzling since Adobe owns both?). It gives me the error "Adobe Acrobat cannot start the image editing application you've specified. Verify the image editing application location on the Content Editing panel in Preferences."
Obviously I checked the file location above, but it was already correct, so no solution there.
All Adobe programs in question are up to date with the 2023 update as confirmed by my CC app manager.
And yes, I restarted.
I'm on a Windows 10 machine if that's of any help.
I've…

Incorrect Rendering of Outlined Text
When opening a PDF exported from Adobe Illustrator in Acrobat Pro, text that has been converted to outlines (curves) is displayed incorrectly. The issue affects the visual appearance of the outlined text, which appears thicker or distorted compared to the intended design. This problem is visible only in Acrobat Pro and does not occur in Illustrator or some other PDF viewers.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a document in Adobe Illustrator with text elements.
Convert all text to outlines (Object > Expand or Create Outlines).
Export the file to PDF using standard export settings.
Open the resulting PDF in Acrobat…

more than 2 signature / initial options for fill & sign tool
Only 2 signature / initial images can be stored currently. Every time I want another signature I have to swap out an existing image for one from my files. It would be hugely beneficial to be able to maintain a much larger selection of stored signatures / initials for completing documents for multiple members of the household.

"Copy selected text into Highlight, Strikethrough, and Underline comment pop-ups" is not available in Commenting preferences.
I came from Acrobat DC, in DC, there's option "Copy selected text into Highlight, Strikethrough, and Underline comment pop-ups" in Commenting preferences. It really speeds up my commenting, because I need to search the highted text, especially in a long document, such as book. So, please add it back. Thanks!

Exporting to Microsoft Word Needs A LOT of help
Exporting to Word is USELESS as is. Here's a screenshot of the conversion. Added a page; reflow of text; fonts and styling are a wild guess at best; logo/branding unusable.
Why even have this feature if this is the result? USELESS a hundred times over.

When copying a Comment using ... Copy Text, and then pasting to a new comment, do not add newline
I have an existing comment, and I use ... Copy Text to copy it.
Then I go to another part of my PDF file, select the text and right click to use "Add Note to Text". In the comment text box, I right click and choose Paste Text (or alternatively, I press CTRL-V to use the default Windows "paste" mechanism).
My new comment ends up with the copied comment text PLUS an extra carriage return (cursor is on a newline). That is NOT what I wanted! Why does it add the extra carriage return? If I am just trying to …

Aptos Fonts
Converting or printing saved locally email messages to .PDF produces an error log file and cannot create or print to PDF format because it is looking for an "APTOS" font. Can Adobe add these fonts as an enhancement to the product?

New interface is barely usable
New interface is almost unusable. I have to basically edit and save documents multiple times a day. Both of those options are buried and when I used the edit feature I couldn't even figure out how to stop using it. thank goodness you had the option (though it was well hidden) to revert to the original UI. what were you thinking?

Allow for customizability of text snippets in advanced search results
Summary of the Problems: Search result snippets in an Advanced Search are often uninformative due to two distinct problems.
Problem 1. The length of text snippet in each search result is too short.
Problem 2. The search term occurs too "early" in the result snippet (that is, the term you searched for is the first or second word in the snippet--you see nothing that came before your term, which is often what you needed to know).Solution to Problem 1: allow the user the ability to customize the maximum size of snippets returned with search results. We have huge…

AI Removal
I think we can all agree that your AI pop-up is the most annoying and useless "feature" on Adobe. As you can see, several cases have been opened against it, and ALL the cases have been upvoted. How much longer til y'all actually get rid of it? Since we're talking about annoying pop-ups, can you also find a way to disable the pop up when I copy text? I just need to copy some quick data into another spreadsheet and every time I select the text I have your stupid pop-up to Generate an Image, Simplify, Define, or Ask…

Highlighter orients itself improperly after a scan
[BUG]
Description: After initially correcting the orientation of the PDF and then highlighting where needed, I then decided to use the find tool to find a word in my PDF. Unfortunately, the PDF was an image and so Acrobat had to enhance the scan to try and search for the word. After enhancing, the page orientation stayed the same but the highlight seemed to rotate itself in the orientation of the original document and not the corrected orientation as shown below.Steps to reproduce:
1) Have a file with text that is scanned in vertically and is viewed as an …1 vote -
Bug Report - Copy and paste rotate
When copying and pasting a comment I made from one page to another page of a PDF, the comment gets rotated - https://www.screencast.com/t/nso1JyUv7FtG
This rotation is unnecessary (not good)
Furthermore, there is no obvious way to fix the rotated comment by rotating it back.2 votes -
Image flattening on Macs causes problems
In order to flatten images on a Mac, I am unable to use the flattening icon. I must export the file as postscript. When I do that, it darkens all images and puts a thin outline around all text boxes and images, which ruins my product. This is for items to sell and it is seriously effecting my business.

Editing PDF images completely removes large image mask features and just moves it to random place. Cannot resize or move because it's larger
Editing PDF images completely removes large image mask features and just moves it to random place. Cannot resize or move because it's larger than the document page, and anytime I try to move, it doesn't because it's trying to align to some arbitrary spot.

Text formatting when copying between text boxes
Please make an option to keep text formatting, like line feeds, when copying text between two text boxes in same PDF file. At the moment Acrobat DC removes all line feeds when content is copy&pasted which creates a lot of unnecessary "Enter" typing.
Maybe something like CTRL+SHIFT+V = keep formatting?Copying the whole text box is not an options, because the text box is sometimes rotated when pasted to another page.
Alternative to this request would of course be to make the text box rotatable.

Combine four separate actions - copy, highlight, open pop-up note, paste copied text into note - into one keystroke action.
Combine four separate actions - copy, highlight, open pop-up note, paste copied text into note - into one keystroke action. Or alter the 'Add Note to Text' option to include the selected text within the note as opposed to it just being a highlight. This way the highlighted portion will be included in comments summary reports.
