  1. Suggestion for improvement

    In "Create action links" "reach a page view" and "Use this aspect by default", the default setting does not integrate the zoom level, if I choose "full page" instead of "custom", I have to make this choice for each new link ... tedious !

  2. This is the biggest single thing that reduces my productivity in Acrobat DC. So often I need to paste some text from inside the PDF into the comment field. Suppose the text is white font on a black background, what is that going to look like in the comment box? In what universe would retaining the formatting as the default make any sense at all?

  3. It's so annoying to have to close the All Tools and Bookmarks panes every time I open a document. None of the settings seem to work. Why isn't there a default option to hide these panes?

  4. Auto OCR cannot be switched off, but is not always welcome nor even meaningful. Moreover, it takes a lot of time and/or many its to the 'cancel' button.
    Please, make it selectable preference - as it was before.

  6. When in Full Screen, the default setting is Single Page View. There is no way to change this in Full Screen. You can change it to, say, "Enable Scrolling" before entering full screen, but once you enter full screen it will revert back to the default. Please enable a way for the user to change the default Full Screen, Page View to their personal preferences in settings.

  7. Each and every time I split a PDF, I must manually set the folder I want the files to save to. I should be able to set the folder path one time and Acrobat will default to that same folder next time I split a PDF. This goes for all the settings whenever splitting a PDF. It would save me time if Acrobat remembered what options I used last when splitting a file. For instance, if I split a file and used the "Use top level bookmarks" option, the next time I go to split a PDF I shouldn't have…

  8. Add an option to the Microsoft Word Adobe Acrobat driver that allows to save as PDF with the "Navigation Tab" - "Bookmarks panel and Page" property of the PDF file activated by default.
    Currently it needs to be activated manually. The driver only saves with the "Navigation Tab" - "Page Only" option.
    Other Drivers such as AutoCAD; however, save as PDF with the "Navigation Tab" - "Bookmarks panel and Page" property of the PDF file activated by default.

  9. Having the possibility to add private messages/notes on transactions in workflows on Adobe Sign.
    There is already this feature but it is limited to Sender only while would be very helpful to allow also for the next Signers in the flow to do the same.
    The same feature is already implemented in all the major competitors software.

  10. With multi monitor setup, setting which screen PDF's open to can be achieved by moving a non maximized windows to desired screen then closing and reopening Acrobat Pro. Now with that set opening a second PDF does not follow the first. The desired outcome is for all PDF's to open on desired monitor. Could that be a preference to override?

  11. It would be very Helpful if Adobe would address this issue with being able to set the zoom level of the hyperlinks within the pdf document to inherit zoom as a default setting. As explained by others it is a real pain to have to change all the hyperlinks in the document 1 at a time to accomplish a "inherit zoom" setting in a large pdf document that can have hundreds of hyperlinks. Using inherit zoom is a document standard that is required in many industries, so it is not just a preference that I personally prefer. I must use…

    1. Be logged out of acrobat.uservoice.com
    2. Go to acrobat.uservoice.com and type up a bug report
    3. Submit bug report
    4. Log in to acrobat.uservoice.com and continue the submission process

    Expected result: bug report is submitted to the forum and a confirmation message is presented.

    Actual result: bug report is submitted to the forum, but an error message is displayed (see attachment).

  14. It took me several days to find where one can remove a "to do" message to sign a document that popped up on the acrobat document list. It was over a year old and not important or wanted. It is not obvious what one should do to manage the message to deal with it or make it go away.

    I did figure out how, but it is not documented to well. nor could I find any mention in the help system.

  15. When using Adobe Sign to send a document for signing, if the Message has too many characters, it causes an error 'COULD NOT COMPLETE YOUR REQUEST - An error occurred while connecting to the service. Please try again later.'
    Have tried multiple times and only when the message is cut short will it work.

  19. Why the are you interrupting my workflow with fing pop ups that not only have I NO INTEREST in whatsoever and they've just crashed the fing application. Stop trying to push me in the direction of the cloud - if I wanted to go there I would sort it out myself. And I don't want you 'reaching out' to me. Just turn it off by default.

  20. When a document name is entered for an accessible PDF in InDesign under File > File Info, it is automatically included in the PDF.
    When checking accessibility in Acrobat, an error message is generated if a document name is missing.
    If you change the title in File > Document Properties and save the document, the problem will be resolved. This also applies if you subsequently restore the original title.
    It appears that the title from InDesign is not properly embedded in the PDF or is not correctly recognized by Acrobat.
