2. View with icons only for the «all tools» menu

   When I use acrobat, I often need to navigate in the menu with all the tools so it is conviennent for me to have this menu open all the time. But the new menu is taking to much space in my screen, I wish I can see (maybe has an option) only the icons. There was a option like this in the previous interface. (picture 1 = the menu that I speak of)

   I try to put all the function that I used in those tools in my «tool bar» but it become way too big for function that I used often but not all the time. (picture 2)

   Maybe in the tool bar we can have like the principal icon (colors ones), and when you clic on it you open the menu for all the option related to this icon? (picture 3 = example of what I try to explain)

3. keep form editing and text editing separate please

   After last update, there is a change in how creating form is working. Form editing (creatin) now contain text edit, which is for me higly unwanted feature, since there is no turn on/off. I am editing 30+ fields in once and selecting all of them is impossible. My form has lot of text boxes and while creating pdf, i dont need them to edit anymore. I just want to edit form fields. Once you mouse down or mouse up on any text, it will ruin the multiple select of fields and start editing text. We are using old version becasue of that... which is btw in even in Creative cloud app and you have to download it from adobe website. please, put the old version of this software in creative cloud desktop app and make form and editin text separate things, like it should be.

6. SEND FOR SIGNATURE NOT WORKING!!!!!!!

7. Cannot Scroll in Bookmarks

   I am unable to scroll through my bookmarks using my mouse with the latest update. I can still scroll through the pages, but not the bookmarks.

8. Give option to revert to classic page view

   Hate this new format. The sidebar icons are too small. The quick tools is not intuitive. Why was it necessary to move the pages and bookmarks to the right when we are accustomed to seeing them on the left. Really frustrated that I can't revert to classic layout or rearrange the tool bars to my preferences. I also don't like that I can't remove drawing and signing from the quick toolbars. I rarely use those features. Just a really poor update with no recourse for the user.

9. Not able to print PDF due to Meiryo-bold font not found, only started after some Adobe update

   After an Adobe update, cannot print certain PowerPoint files to PDF. Notepad captures "Meiryo-Bold not found, using Courier", but print process never completes. Need help/support to resolve this issue, again, was able to print same file prior to update.

10. I want the internet browser PDF to have all the editing options that the desktop Acrobat Reader has.

    I want the internet browser PDF (PDF Reader) to have all the editing options that the desktop Acrobat Reader has. If you want to edit the file, you have to download it, open it, and then edit. We should be able to edit the file directly from our internet browser. I typically use Chrome. This should be available on all internet browsers.

11. Bug: After recent update to 20269 text in text box turns gibrish after save.

    After the recent update to 20269, During Fill & sign, adding text in text box in the Hebrew language. It looks OK and I save the file. After reopening the file the Hebrew text turns into unreadable symbols. Numbers and English text looks Ok.
    Every time other parts of the Hebrew text turns to symbols. tried different fonts. It happens in several other computers too.

12. Bug Report: Update Watermark - Position > Vertical Distance setting > inconsistent setting / display

    Using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, Situation:
    a watermark was added to a document, vertical distance set to " 2 Milimeters from Top" and document saved. Then re-open document, use "Tools > Pages > Watermark > Update...". The settings in dialog box are displayed as they were saved (e.g. Vertical Distance: 2 Milimeter from Top), however in the preview pane, the existing watermark shows at another position then in dialog (position is displayed at Inches instead of Milimeters). Watermark shifted somewhere to the middle of the page.
    Workaround: change Vertical Distance setting to another unit (e.g. Centimeters), then change back to Milimeters again, the preview pane (and setting in document) shows correct again.

13. Bug: Documents sent for signing are editable when signed from browser add-in

    After a recent update documents that our firm sends for signing are now editable by the recipient when signed via a browser add-in.

    If the document is downloaded and signed within the desktop app it is not editable (only the signature panel is available).

    Furthermore, if edits are made and then the document signed we are not notified of changes on the summary page.

    I hope an update will be posted soon.

14. plugin fix 19.021.20061 Adobe Acrobat Distiller won't update

    I was able to download two of the three fixes for crashing because of the plug-in issue since the 12/10/19 update. I'm unable to download the Distiller fix, says it isn't the right version, though the version is also dated 12/10/19. I rebooted my machine but still cannot create a pdf in some programs - it simply shuts down with the plug-in error message. Help!

15. Office Integration Broken after Applying Update

    Yesterday I applied updates to both Acrobat Pro DC and Office on macOS 11.6.2, so I'm not sure whether is regression was caused by Office or Acrobat.

    Office was updated to version 16.58 (22011201)
    Acrobat was updated to version 2021.011.20039

    Now:

    1. When I launch PowerPoint, I get an error (see attached image): PowerPoint couldn't load the add-in /Users/admin/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Startup.localized/PowerPoint/SaveAsAdobePDF.ppam

    Indeed: the SaveAsAdobePDF.ppam file no longer exists.

    1. Word no longer contains the Acrobat add-in in the ribbon. If I open User Content.localized/Startup.localized/Word/linkCreation.dotm and enable macros when prompted, the Acrobat add-in loads into that document, but that's it. It does not load into any other documents.

16. "Agreements" Filter Options

    Please add a similar Agreement Filters view in the desktop version Adobe Acrobat. In the web version we are able to see/filter agreements based on current status (In progress, completed, etc) but it's not in the desktop version of the application.

17. Application doesn't update title of saved pdf in application thumbnail

    When you load a pdf and save as a different name the thumbnail doesn't update even though the tab does (see images).

    Step1 - Open pdf
    Choose File>Save As (choose a location to save in)
    Step2 - Type a name for the file to be saved as, Click Save.
    Step3 - The main application file name has changed.
    Step4 - When you hover over the application thumbnail it never updates until you close / open the file

18. Bug recent update broken dragging a document by its tab to create a new window crashes whole adobe session

    Prior to recent update, when wanted to visually compare or read two documents simultaneously could drag by the doc tab to make new window. Now that crashes whole session - their is also a bug in the menu function open new window, it does move the open document to a new window, it also leave sit in the other session so you to close it manually - made working with multiple windows very time consuming and difficult

19. New Acrobat: Wish List for a Better Interface

    What users need in the new interface...

    Fellow users, please add or vote up the features that are most critical for you.
    (Interface-related only, not new features or utilities.)

    ONE:
    A totally customizable set of toolbars — left, right, top, and bottom of the application window, and also on a side monitor.

    — User determines which toolbars are visible.

    — User can dock or float them anywhere, including on a second monitor that's outside the application window.

    — User chooses which tools are in each toolbar.

    — User chooses whether each tool/utility is represented as an icon only, icon + text label, or text label only.

    — Let the user develop a custom toolbar with the individual tools they use most often, and let them dock or float it anywhere on their computer screen. The majority of professional users use 5-10 tools regularly and not an entire tool panel.

    — Allow all panels / toolbars to be resized to fit the user's screen and needs.

    — User can save this setup as a custom workspace that can be reset, changed, and re-selected whenever the user needs to do so. (See Adobe InDesign as a model for this very helpful feature. See https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/customizing-workspace.html and https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/workspace-basics.html#Workspaceoverview)

    — And make it easy for users to create their own custom workspace. K I S S.

    Note: Adobe, when YOU determine which tools are in each panel, you prevent users from having ALL the tools they need for their tasks, and also make it more difficult to get to the specific tools they need.

    Example that fails in the new interface: having only the Comments panel or Page Thumbnails panel open at a time on the right side prevents people from efficiently editing PDFs. The problem isn't really that you moved left-side panels to the right and vice versa — it's that some pairs of tool panels can't be open simultaneously.

    TWO:
    Make the program fully accessible to all users...
    — Whether they have a disability or not.
    — Whether they use an assistive technology or not.
    — Whether they're on a full-screen monitor or small mobile screen.
    — Whether they have a touch screen or not.

    — Allow the user to control the color and contrast of the interface: dark mode, light mode, medium, black/white icons, and hi-contrast (for those with low vision or reading disabilities). Many of the colors you've chosen are not fully visible to those with various forms of color blindness and low-vision.

    Note: Thank you for darkening them in recent updates. That helped.

    — Allow the user to set the size of icons, labels, dialogue boxes, menu titles, and adjustment points.

    — Let users set the text size of comments in the Comments panel. People on high-resolution monitors (used by most professionals) and those with vision and reading disorders can't read the comments easily enough. Let comment text scale up and down as the user needs.

    — Hamburger menus (3 horizontal bars in the upper left) are NOT fully accessible to those with vision and mobility disabilities. Give users a choice of whether to have them in the interface or use traditional drop-down menus with text labels. Hamburger menus are best on mobile small screens; but they are cumbersome and clumsy on full-size monitors which are used by professionals in their daily jobs.

    — Redesign some of the tool icons, especially those that are confusing (see attached screen capture). Consider removing some of the icons: there are too many to sort through quickly, too many that are esoteric with undecipherable icons. Text labels can be faster to recognize and translate across all cultures.

    — Make every menu and toolbar accessible via the keyboard.

    — Bring back keyboard shortcuts for zoom in/out and paging. And let the user arrange where their icons are located on the screen.

    THREE:
    Fewer pop-ups.
    Please!

    — Once the user has viewed a pop-up, let them permanently close it.

    — And stop re-popping the pop-ups after each upgrade.

    FOUR:
    Clean up, minimize, and redesign the user preferences section.

    It's overwhelming. Confusing. Poorly designed.

    FIVE:
    The default interface should be the "classic" version, not the "new experience" — at least until you rework it sufficiently and the user makes the choice to move to the new version.

    — When installing a program update, warn the user that there's a new interface and let them choose whether to use the new one or keep the classic.

    — When installing an update, retain the user's custom workspaces, tool panels, and preferences.

    — And keep the option to Disable New Acrobat.

20. Remove just one header/footer and not others/remove all headers/footers

    It would be nice to have the ability to remove just one footer instead of removing all headers/footers. For example, I work on large publications and would like to be able to leave the different headers and copyright footers for each chapter in place, but be able to update the page numbers. Currently, when I remove or update a header/footer, it effects ALL headers/footers. There should be a menu option to pick and choose which headers/footers to alter.
