    "Collaboration Synchronizer Error After Adobe Acrobat Pro Update (25.1.20937 and 25.1.20918)"

    Steps to Reproduce the Issue:

    Update Adobe Acrobat Pro to version 25.1.20937 or 25.1.20918 (released Nov 2025).

    Launch Adobe Acrobat Pro on a domain-connected PC (running Windows 10/11).

    Open a PDF file (preferably from a network drive or cloud-based service such as OneDrive, SharePoint).

    Perform normal tasks such as reading or editing the PDF.

    Close Adobe Acrobat Pro after completing tasks.

    The Collaboration Synchronizer error will appear upon closing Acrobat Pro.

    Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.):

  2. Personally, I love the new interface as it only takes a little to get used to and then it is so much faster and intuitive.

    The issue is, my computer has the new interface. I can confirm this whenever I launch the program. However I work remotely 98% of the time, and no matter what I try the interface automatically reverts to the old view when I connect via Windows Server 2022 Remote Desktop Connection (RDC)

  3. Auto update feature cannot be turned off. This is a fundamental flaw in your software. No software should ever update without permission of ownder.

  4. Since the 2023 update, I can no longer edit PDF content in Illustrator or Photoshop (puzzling since Adobe owns both?). It gives me the error "Adobe Acrobat cannot start the image editing application you've specified. Verify the image editing application location on the Content Editing panel in Preferences."

    Obviously I checked the file location above, but it was already correct, so no solution there.

    All Adobe programs in question are up to date with the 2023 update as confirmed by my CC app manager.

    And yes, I restarted.

    I'm on a Windows 10 machine if that's of any help.

  6. Online acrobat edit tools must be more in depth. I suggest admin and guest features.

    Guests add options such that can add comments, or adjust text (or privileges may be assigned) in real time.

    On cloud web:
    - Make documents modifiable on cloud web app
    - Edit text in real time on web or desktop app
    - Move comment stickies with pages when deck is reorganized
    - Comment stickies carry over to desktop file as well
    - Update changes in real time when using desktop or cloud

  7. I used to be able to open PDF files quickly in Adobe Acrobat before my WIN11 update, but now they require 30-60 seconds to open, or sometimes they don't open at all. It doesn't matter what program I'm trying to open them from - either Outlook or Explorer -- it takes forever.

  8. The latest update on Acrobat DC has a floating tool strip on the left that COVERS UP THE DOCUMENT I AM WORKING ON!!! How do I get rid of this blasted thing?!
    I hate this latest update so much! Switching things around etc. It's horrible!

  10. Please work with MicroSoft and add the ability to open a file in the Adobe desktop app directly from SharePoint and include the ability to save back to SharePoint using the libraries versioning settings. I know we can add libraries via adobe to do this, but I need to access hundreds of libraries and its just too hard the way things are currently setup.

  11. I miss being able to open a document, click on the email icon, and a new email would pop up allowing us to send the attachment directly. Now there is an extra step.

  12. I have been using Adobe Reader for a little while now as have many others and am curious if anyone at all ever asked for a new layout? I am very used to the locations on the old ones and now I have to wander around figuring out where any little thing is located and what the new silly little icons mean. This was force fed by an automatic update and it is awful. If its not broke.....

  13. Link Alternative text disappears when opening in Older version of Adobe acrobat. In current version of adobe acrobat (23.003.20215), While adding alternative text for link in the new version & open the same document in older version it will automatically removes the alternative text and also commonlook shows error in new version as alt text not added. Since there is no alt text showing in Edit Tag in Properties of the tag.

Recently I updated to Security Update 2018-001 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 - since then, none of my Acrobat instances (DC Pro, X) works anymore: I can start Acrobat, but as soon a I try to open a file, Acrobat hangs (showing the "rolling ball") and I have to force quit. Deinstallation and re-installation did not solve the problem.

I recently was VERY late getting Acrobat Pro updated, as I was always (only) checking for updates in the Creative Cloud app. Acrobat is listed there as in installed app, but recent updates have not shown up. I did find this was probably because I had Automatic Updates turned off in Acrobat's prefs. (I don't like automatic updates, they can be intrusive.)   17. The update from 30.06.2022 for Acrobat Reader DC caused problems yet again. On Windwos 10, 64-bit.

    I can't print with my printer PDFs without rim with Acrobat. And also i can't print A3 paper. Now i can only print A4, and with rim.

    I had this problems also a few months ago. Also after a Acrobat update.
    But at this time i didn't need my printer and sometime after the problem it resolved itself. Maybe with a another update.

    But now i need my printer and i have to print without rim on A3. But since this update

  18. The most recent update to Adobe Acrobat Pro is awful. The worst. You can't barely update and fill in PDFs. Creating text is impossible. And the program runs so slow it's not worth using. Please revert back to the former version that was actually useful. Or at least let me download a former version. This is just terrible.

  20. When extracting multiple pages as files, Acrobat presents an old and cumbersome dialogue to select the folder in which to save the extracted files. This dialogue is difficult to navigate through. Why not simply use the standard Windows File Explorer? In addition to being hard to find one's way around, the dialogue always defaults to the top level of the directory, whereas the File Explorer defaults either to the last location used or the location of the source file, and normally, I can choose between these default options. Finally, this dialog provides no opportunity to name the extracted page files…
