  1. An issue with viewing PDF files in IE based apps was found in Adobe Acrobat 20.013.20064 Planned update, Nov 03, 2020. The issue was that PDFs were not able to be viewed in IE based apps and accessing PDFs would cause programs such as SAPGUI to crash.

    A fix was released as an optional update (20.013.20066 Optional update, Nov 23, 2020).

    It was found out that the fix was not included in 20.013.20074 Out of cycle update, December 09, 2020 because users who did not receive the optional update are now reporting that they have the issue…

  3. Snap Assist no longer functions. This Windows 11 feature allows you to size the application into one of six predetermined views by hovering over the Maximize/Minimize icon in the Title Bar.

  5. Why is Acrobat different from all of the other Adobe applications ?
    It waits until I double click a PDF file to inform me that I must wait while an update is installed, and there is no progression feedback, just sit and wait.
    Also lately Acrobat opens multiple (10-15) instances of many "Acrobat" Background processes. I have found this when Acrobat becomes unresponsive to an attempt to open a PDF file, like Acrobat Collaboration Synchronizer and Acrobat Update Service.

  6. After setting Single Page Continuous scrolling in three separate places, nothing changes. I can't get the page layout to update to anything different than single page, no matter what I do. Please offer a fix or a document that clearly states how to adjust the page view.

  7. I am an editor and frequently use the PDF mark-up tools, including strikethrough, insert text and especially "replace selected text". In previous versions, these tools were nicely organized in a toolbar across the top of the screen. If you wanted to use one, you simply had to click or highlight within the text as needed, then choose the appropriate tool in the toolbar. The new version consolidates these and other functions in a reduced menu on the left side of the screen. To use any tool, you now have to click a main icon, then choose the desired tool…

  8. Absolutely HATE the new interface. Hate it so much so I am taking valuable time out of my day to come here and make this post. Be interesting to see if anyone with Adobe even looks at these posts.

    First, I struggle to see anyway, so making TINY LITTLE ICONS MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR!!!

    I have to hover over said icons to see what they are even for then strain to see what the pop up says.

  9. When there is a problem with syncing data between QuickBooks Desktop and the online banking server, QuickBooks Error 3140 occurs.   10. After the last Windows-Update, several users suddenly could not save edited PDF forms by simply clicking the save icon as before.

    Acrobat changed the name of the document and gave this message,"The document could not be saved. The document cannot be saved to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."

    I have found a few workarounds online:

    1. Users can close the File Explorer window before attempting to save the document. This doesn't work all the time and can therefore be frustrating.

  11. Signature Created in Adobe Fill and Sign Mobile App is not available in Desktop Version of Acrobat. Signatures are not getting synced. Even though the Adobe ID is same.

    We apologise for the issue you are facing. We are however not able to reproduce it.

    Can you please try the following steps and let us know your results:
    1. On Desktop, sign out from Reader/Acrobat
    2. On Mobile, sign in with your Adobe id, create a signature/initials and wait for sometime (for signature to sync). Try to sign a simple PDF document
    3. On Desktop, launch Reader/Acrobat, sign in now, open a PDF and go to Fill &Sign app. Open a simple PDF and try to add signature/initials now. Do you still not see the signature created on mobile? Please let us know

  12. I have used Acrobat for many, many years and this update to the UI is very frustrating. I don't really know why it is confusing, but it is. I don't see why the Tools needed to be grouped into tiny icons in a constant, annoying side-bar, they were much easier to pick and use (especially for newbies who I may teach to use the software in our office) when they were on their own tab, with the smaller handy icons on the right being useful once you understood each tool.   13. When sharing a file for feedback, it would be nice if the shared file would update once changes are made and resaved. So you don't have to send a new link, which could get confusing if someone opens the wrong link. I hope that made sense. If this is already possible, someone please fill me in.

  14. When moving the slider on the page display in the print dialog box, changing its value updates the preview image. This includes using keyboard left and right keys, clicking on it, dragging the slider, and the left and right buttons to the left and right of the slider.

    Except, if it is selected and moved with the mousewheel, it does not update the preview. It does not also update the preview after a few seconds so I do not believe it is intended to specifically not update the preview in this case. Instead I believe this is a simple…

  15. We have noted a bug with Acrobat Cloud version as the document timstamp no longer seems to be handle or recognized properly. Please see the word document with the captures of the output in the desktop version (windows) versus cloud version (Chrome). I'm also attaching the doc with the document.

    The outcome should be same in cloud as in desktop.

    If there is a problem with the document timestamp format, we would like to know what is wrong has this was supported before.

  16. The new user interface for the e-sign template is a major problem for our business. It eliminates the option to add documents as attachments to the template (on the old user interface, this is possible under the "Files" section on the same screen that asks for email addresses). We use this feature on every contract we send -- it is critical and cannot be replicated in the desktop app.

    Please add the ability to add attachments to e-sign templates back to the new use interface!

  17. Since the latest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC update, scrolling is not working on "Bookmarks" and "Advanced Search". Please downgrade to last version ASAP when the scrolling works. This is causing so much inefficiency, and for the last 10 days work has been so much delayed. I think this is not just a matter to be fixed ASAP, but also needs proper apology and reward for the users who are paying a fortune in subscribing this Acrobat Pro DC.

  18. After the latest update, the View menu has disappeared from my Acrobat, This is a feature I used almost every time I opened Acrobat to switch between one and two-page view. Now I can't find it. I'm also having problems finding other freqently used tools. The cloud has some convenient features, but automatic updates that hide frequently used tools are super frustrating. I miss the old days when I could just pay for software, own it, and update it when I wanted to.
