  2. In the most recent update to Adobe Acrobat, you removed Share & Track tool. I realize this tool has been changed to 'Share' and the original Send and Track is still available via browser. Even so, having Send & Track within the application tools is much more convenient.

    Why don't I use the new 'Share' tool? Unfortunately the Share feature does not allow us to send a protected document. It is also very clunky to format a message longer than 5 words with custom subject line.

    Bring back Send and Track in the UI please.

  3. I can only access Adobe Reader (downloaded TODAY) by right clicking on the desktop icon and choosing to open it as an administrator.

    If I double click on an actual pdf document, nothing happens, and I can only see it by opening Reader as an administrator and using the "open" function within Adobe.

    I searched online for a fix (you had one available previously) but could not find it.

    You need to post - or otherwise communicate - how to fix this issue.

    Needless to say, I am disappointed.

  4. Steps to reproduce:
    Close and re-open Adobe Acrobat. Issue observed after most recent version update. Issue occurs if the Tools Pane isn't shown when Adobe Acrobat starts (View > Show/Hide > Tools Pane).

    Environment:
    Windows 10 and Windows 7
    Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017

    Expected result:
    Third party quick tool should display based on settings in the Customize Quick Tools options menu.

    Observed result:
    Third party quick tool missing until the Tools Pane is opened.

    It was Implemented so keeping it that way. Resolved may not necessarily mean Implemented.

  5. I regularly highlight documents with numerous colors based on a key. It would be helpful if the comment pane showed the color of the highlight in lieu of the generic grayed out highlight icon. It would make perusing large documents with significant highlights easier to peruse.

    We understand you are encountering some trouble with the new feature in Request e-signatures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. With Modernized experience, you now get simplified document authoring experience, leverage AI-assisted form field detection and ability to revise, organize & save document edits in-progress, add/ remove recipients during agreement creation step. Here’s more information.

    If you still prefer to use the earlier version you can revert back by following these steps:
    1.    Click on your profile icon.
    2.    Select "Settings".
    3.    In "E-signing settings", uncheck the box next to "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures".

    This change will only affect new created after making this adjustment. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in resolving this issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  8. Acrobat DC wastes so much screen space in non-customisable areas - It is common to 'snap' the Acrobat Application to Half-Screen - but doing so hides many menu Tools, but ALWAYS leaves 'Home, Tools, Document & then The Login Name. - These are rarely (never) used.
    Please allow them to be Hidden, Or return Menu/Tool icons to a 'normal' design/style as used in the previous 10 versions of Acrobat.
    'PRO' does not = Tablet user.

    Hi,

    We are delighted to share with you that Acrobat and Reader Desktop release for DC Continuous (21.007.20091) is Live now and this Takes care of the Feature Request to Change the Display Size of the Acrobat without changing the Scaling/Resolution of the machine. This can be Done from “View” → “Display Size”. For now this is avaialble for windows only.

  10. I realized today than in acrobat, there is no re-apply or update for the filter on the comments section. I do book editing and things and spend quite a bit of time unsetting and reseting the filter since I get sent 500-1200 edits per document I receive. I would expect to press filer and then to have the option to 'reapply' or 'update' the filter since it isn't a live filter -- which would also be awesome but either would solve the issue I run into.

  12. Why is Acrobat different from all of the other Adobe applications ?
    It waits until I double click a PDF file to inform me that I must wait while an update is installed, and there is no progression feedback, just sit and wait.
    Also lately Acrobat opens multiple (10-15) instances of many "Acrobat" Background processes. I have found this when Acrobat becomes unresponsive to an attempt to open a PDF file, like Acrobat Collaboration Synchronizer and Acrobat Update Service.
    Can Acrobat use the same method that the other Adobe apps use to inform me that an update is available, but…

    I noticed problem with window for Acrobat Pro. After starting program I noticed problems with icons for minimize, maximize and close program. They disapear sometimes. When I'm resizing windows using boarder, icons from the top apear. Its very anoying bug because it's impossible to move window on my desktop.

  18. I am an editor and frequently use the PDF mark-up tools, including strikethrough, insert text and especially "replace selected text". In previous versions, these tools were nicely organized in a toolbar across the top of the screen. If you wanted to use one, you simply had to click or highlight within the text as needed, then choose the appropriate tool in the toolbar. The new version consolidates these and other functions in a reduced menu on the left side of the screen. To use any tool, you now have to click a main icon, then choose the desired tool…

  19. Absolutely HATE the new interface. Hate it so much so I am taking valuable time out of my day to come here and make this post. Be interesting to see if anyone with Adobe even looks at these posts.

    First, I struggle to see anyway, so making TINY LITTLE ICONS MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR!!!

    I have to hover over said icons to see what they are even for then strain to see what the pop up says.

  20. After the last Windows-Update, several users suddenly could not save edited PDF forms by simply clicking the save icon as before.

    Acrobat changed the name of the document and gave this message,"The document could not be saved. The document cannot be saved to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."

    I have found a few workarounds online:

    1. Users can close the File Explorer window before attempting to save the document. This doesn't work all the time and can therefore be frustrating.
